Looking at the billions of living beings in the world, how many people can completely eliminate their worries, cut off their earthly connections, and prevent karma from being added to them?
The founders of Zen Buddhism also had this confusion. Since karma is inexhaustible, we should arouse bodhicitta, use merit to wash away karma, and clear the consequences.
That old ghost Meng Xuanji said that he should fast for two months, eat vegetarian food and recite sutras. This is the reason.
If people in the Buddhist sect guard their hearts tightly and do not move away from thoughts of greed, anger, and delusion, their karma, sins, and killings will naturally be reduced, and they will not accumulate into delusions, obstacles, and evil retributions."
Ji Yuan nodded lightly, Buddhism is a way to escape from the world.
Faced with karma and cause and effect that are everywhere in heaven and earth, choose to uphold the precepts.
Recite the mantra with your mouth, make mudra with your hands, and meditate with your mind, in order to purify the three karma of body, speech, and mind, and pursue the state of enlightenment.
"Take refuge in the Three Jewels of Buddhism, Dharma, and Sangha, diligently practice the three disciplines of morality, concentration, and wisdom, eliminate the three poisons of greed, anger, and ignorance, and purify the three karmas of body, speech, and mind."

"But Lao Na's lineage is different. Keeping the precepts means guarding the mind, and meditating means concentration.
But we can practice meditation behind closed doors and seek Buddha. What kind of Zen can we practice? What kind of Buddha can we seek?
There are many worries and sufferings in the world. Can it be cured by becoming a monk and becoming a monk? It’s just a turtle’s head.
Therefore, the first patriarch did not aspire to achieve enlightenment without dust, but instead stepped into the rolling world of mortals with a brave and diligent heart to wipe out the evil world of five turbidities."
Ji Yuan couldn't help but gasp, marveling at the grandeur of the first patriarch.
"What a mighty monk who found his way out of killing and stirred up a sea of blood."
