Chapter 302: Four words from ancient times to the present, striving to be the emperor(1/3)
"You are a thief monk, you are a monk after all, why don't you pay attention to compassion?
It’s just that he looks fierce and evil, but he always encourages people to kill and break the precepts.
No wonder the abbot of Huangjue Temple wants to kick you out."
The young man in white robe sits as tall as a mountain and rides the huge divine horse, looking very heroic.
Behind him, the seven-striped banner that shoots straight into the sky flutters in the wind, gathering clouds from all directions.
According to ancient etiquette, the dragon flag is the supreme symbol of the emperor, prince, identity and status.
The more chandeliers hanging above, the more distinguished the visitor will be.
The emperor is nine, the royal family is seven, the prince is five, and so on.
In today's Jing Dynasty, there are private soldiers to clear the way when traveling, and they dare to display a guard of honor in broad daylight.
He even held the dragon flag to show his majesty.
If you think about it carefully, it's just those princes.
As for adding five pearls and giving seven stars, this is the most holy favor reward second only to the Crown Prince of the East Palace.
Among all the people in the court, only Bai Xingchen, King of Yan, has received this honor.
"Your Highness, what you said is wrong. I practice the Dharma of joining the world, not becoming a monk.
The old abbot of Huangjue Temple understands, but doesn’t like it.
As the saying goes, different paths lead to different paths.
Therefore, it is reasonable for him to order the poor monks to be expelled."
The black-robed monk replied calmly with a faint voice.
Even if he walks side by side with King Yan Bai Xingchen, he is neither humble nor arrogant.
It is like a fierce tiger entrenched in a large hill. It has no trace of Buddha nature, but has a strong evil spirit.
"Oh, monk, you might as well tell me, what is the method of joining the world?
I have often heard people mention that Bodhisattvas are afraid of causes and sentient beings are afraid of consequences.
If all Taoists escape into Buddhism, all four elements will be empty.
It is necessary to purify the six roots and cut off the worldly connections.
Throughout the dynasties, there have always been monks who were born in the world. How have we ever seen eminent monks who have entered the world?"
King Yan Bai Xingchen looked at Dulong Ridge and asked seriously.
Although the royal family believed in Buddhism and the court adhered to Taoism, the Jing Dynasty did not enshrine the state religion.
Even if Master Jianzheng of Shejilou succeeded in helping the dragon, he only had the name of a national teacher, but not the actual status of a national teacher.
It is said that saints are not interested in ghosts and gods.
I am even more scornful of the legends of immortals and Buddhas.
Sects that believe it is necessary to offer incense and exploit the people are all evil heretics.
That’s why there was a later move to destroy mountains and cut down temples and abolish obscene temples.
"To be honest, Your Highness, this is a fallacy.
Being born in Buddhism is not just a turtle with a shrunken head.
I think about the time when hundreds of barbarians marched straight into the Central Plains and occupied the Central Plains.
Those poor scholars with broken backs and despair all went to escape Zen.
Treat Buddhism as a refuge from the world, and regard Buddhism as a paralyzing medicine.
I also call it a beautiful name, enjoying myself.
But I don’t want to think about the difference between them and half-dead wood?
I really laughed my ass off!"
The monk in black held up his rosary bracelet, word by word, and sneered:
"Your Majesty, don't you hear what the Buddha said, that all living beings have come from without beginning. This idea is not true, so there is reincarnation.
What is the meaning of this statement? It means that you and I both have spiritual immortality, no matter how many times we are reincarnated.
They all have causes in the past life, consequences in this life, and retribution in the next life.
Therefore, if you ignore this life and only cultivate the next life, you are a fool!
Accumulating virtue and doing good deeds will bring blessings in reincarnation. That is a delusion!
The poor monk thought that the Buddha's words clearly meant that all sentient beings would become Pratye Enlightenment and that everyone would become a Buddha.
Enlighten the true spirit from the past life, achieve perfection in this life, and achieve fruition in the next life!
It is a pity that it was misinterpreted by his disciples and descendants and became a drug to deceive the public.
Closing the door and knocking on wooden fish is the way to go for fools and mediocre people.
The poor monk must go through this evil world of five turbidities, pick it up and put it down, and be at peace and ease!"
These words are very convincing.
The big blood-striped tiger seemed to feel something, and roared in a low voice, bringing up the evil wind.
"What a sharp-tongued and brutal monk Daoguang!"
King Yan Bai Xingchen held his palms and laughed, nodded and praised:
"What a black-clothed demon monk who practices worldly Zen and vows to seize the Buddha's head!"
The monk in black held his rosary beads, pressed the bloody tiger's head under his crotch, and said softly:
"The poor monk went from Huangjue Temple to Xuankong Temple and finally to Tianjie Temple.
The only conclusion is that today's Buddhism has collapsed, Buddhism has withered, and it is really a disaster at the end of the world.
In the temple, those who meditate are rotten dead trees; in the main hall, there are wooden fish heads.
Those who wear cassocks are the sons and grandsons of devils, and those who recite Buddhist scriptures are unworthy descendants.
How many people in the world can be called true monks?
Poor monk...if you want to practice Buddhism, you must learn from Padmasambhava!"
King Yan Bai Xingchen narrowed his eyes and smiled lightly:
"Dao Guang, the murderous intent in your words is shocking.
It's like blood flowing thousands of miles and tens of thousands of corpses!
No wonder His Highness the Prince said that wearing a monk's robe is a waste of talent.
Only by commanding several lands and being a feudal official can you be useful."
His mother was a devout believer in Buddhism, and the saint also shaved his hair, became a monk, and became a novice monk, so he had a predestined relationship with Buddhism.
So I have read a few Buddhist scriptures and understand the allusions in them.
In the hidden vein of Huangjue Temple, there was a generation of ancestors named ‘Lianhuasheng’.
Create an unprecedented method of killing and attaining enlightenment, and practice the form of the Wrathful Vajra.
He also said: In the Dharma Ending Age, people's hearts are evil and they repeatedly violate the precepts. Such bad fate will cause evil spirits and evil spirits to disturb the world, or due to bad deeds, sentient beings will suffer from madness, sudden death and other unlucky and unsatisfactory consequences. They should take the path of killing and end their lives.
The heart of protecting the Tao!
The monk in black paused with his fingers, shook his head and said:
"It's just imitating our predecessors, it's not just murderous intentions.
Besides, His Highness was joking, and His Highness the Crown Prince also misjudged the wrong person.
In the officialdom, it has always been easy to dodge overt guns, but hard to guard against hidden arrows.
Without a few solid backers, no matter how powerful your ability is, it may be difficult to stand up.
If a poor monk becomes an official, within three to five years, he will either leave in embarrassment or be beheaded at Caishikou.
In my opinion, it is better to go fishing in the middle of the rough river than to sail a boat.
It is better to stand on the shore and wait patiently. Sooner or later, someone who is willing will take the bait."
King Yan Bai Xingchen seemed to be joking and said softly:
"According to this, I am the big fish who is willing to take the bait?"
The monk in black looked calm and said:
"The poor monk and His Highness are each other fish in the river and fishermen on the shore."
King Yan Bai Xingchen seemed satisfied with this answer, pulled the tough reins of the divine horse under his crotch, and said with a long smile:
"This is true, then, I wish you to be like pines and cypresses, and this king to be like green mountains.
To be continued...
