Chapter 94: Mu Lian saves her mother, Qi Luck Qing Lian(1/2)

Chapter 95 Mu Lian saves her mother Qi Luck Qing Lian

"Although these yakshas escaped from hell after listening to the Buddha's voice, they were educated by Taoist scriptures. How about they join the little Taoist priests and wait for orders?"

Zhang Muzhi hesitated for a moment and said truthfully: "I'm afraid that my poor Taoism is still shallow and I won't be able to restrain these demons from hell."

Venerable Mu Lian laughed when he heard this and said: "As long as you practice diligently, you can always improve your magic power. With the thoughts of compassion, little Taoist priests, why worry about not being able to make these yakshas return to their hearts?"

Zhang Muzhi said in his heart: "These Yaksha demons are killing all day long in hell. I am afraid that their evil roots have been deeply rooted. How can they be subdued with only compassion?"

Venerable Mu Lian possesses the ability of Buddhism. After sensing Zhang Muzhi's thoughts, he advised: "Jade Rakshasa is a general of the Qianhuan Rakshasa clan. He escaped from the Yinshan Temple due to being bewitched and is now classified as a small Taoist priest.

Come on, just restrain these yakshas!" He said and pointed at the crow standing on Zhang Muzhi's shoulder.

The crow transformed by the Jade Rakshasa couldn't control its figure and fell down. After landing, it turned into a woman in black and knelt down to pay homage to Venerable Mulian.

Venerable Mulian said to the Jade Rakshasa with compassion on his face: "You escaped from the monastery while Di and I were listening to the Venerable's carelessness, which means that our relationship with Buddhism has been exhausted. Today, we worship the little Taoist priest as our teacher. We should learn from Taoism's heart of helping the world and saving people."

, Only in this way can the evil roots be eliminated and the positive results can be achieved as soon as possible!"

The Jade Rakshasa bowed again: "Disciple, please obey His Majesty's decree!" Then he kowtowed to Chao Zhang Muzhi three times: "Disciple pays homage to Master!"

Zhang Muzhi brought the Jade Rakshasa to the Yinshan Temple this time, with the original intention of handing over the monster to Venerable Mulian. Unexpectedly, the monk instead allowed her to become his disciple.

Venerable Mu Lian is the first disciple of Sakyamuni, and is known as the "number one in supernatural power" among the many disciples of the Buddha. He personally recommended this Jade Rakshasa to become his disciple, and it was really hard for Zhang Muzhi to refuse.

"Young Taoist priests don't need to worry. Although this jade Rakshasa has an extraordinary temperament, it is different from the greedy, angry, and vajra yakshas that the young Taoist priests have seen."

Zhang Muzhi asked doubtfully: "They are all demons from hell, their evil roots have not yet receded, and they have all been deceived by the pseudo-Buddha disciples of Yuanjue Temple. I wonder what the difference is?"

Venerable Mulian patiently explained: "Whenever demons come out of hell after listening to the scriptures, they will be incarnate because of their faults. If they do evil in the future, they will be punished. This is why they were killed by Taoist priests."

Zhang Muzhi asked with a smile: "In other words, even if they are not killed by poor Taoists, they will be killed by others?"

Venerable Mu Lian nodded: "That's right. Karma and retribution follow each other like a shadow. Who can escape? And the reason why this Jade Rakshasa is different is precisely because she was just released into the world of the world by the ghost king of idleness, and was caught by the Taoist priest before she could do any evil.

."

"The little Taoist priest succumbed to the demon in Han Mansion, but did not kill him at the last moment. It can be seen that this Jade Rakshasa still has a glimmer of hope. What you do in the future will be very involved. This Jade Rakshasa has the magical power of physical transformation, which can help!

Zhang Muzhi then nodded and agreed: "In that case, I will take this Jade Rakshasa under my sect!"

Venerable Mu Lian smiled and clasped his hands, as if he was extremely happy: "Very good! Very good! And those Yakshas outside the Zen monastery, since they have worshiped the Taoism, they should look like Taoists!" As he said this, he waved his hand, and a ray of magic power flew out.

The fifty or sixty Yakshas outside the field who were willing to join Zhang Muzhi's command suddenly changed from bald monks to strong men wearing yellow clothes and wearing yellow scarves on their heads. They were all tall and burly, and seemed to have endless strength.

Zhang Muzhi bowed his hands and thanked him: "Thank you, Monk Mulian!" Then he told the Jade Rakshasa: "Go and restrain those yellow scarf warriors outside the venue. Monk Mulian and I will listen carefully to what the venerable has to say."

"Yes! Master." After the Jade Rakshasa bowed and thanked him, he transformed into a black light and flew to the outside of the square.

Zhang Muzhi took out a copy of "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Original Vow Sutra" from his sleeve and handed it to Venerable Mu Lian on the lotus platform opposite: "I got this sutra when I killed Vajra Yaksha in Chengxin Zen Monastery, and today it happened to be returned to its original owner.

The little Taoist priest has just seen the Buddhist way of cause and effect today, so he wants to return this scripture.

"If I keep this useless scripture with me, I may have to work hard to find a disciple for his Buddhist sect in the future... It would be better to return it back early if it is such a troublesome thing."

Venerable Mu Lian stretched out his hand and took the sutra book into his hand. Then he shook his head and sighed: "Although I have the heart to worship the Buddha, I don't understand the true meaning of the sutra. How pitiful! How pitiful!"

Zhang Muzhi only felt that Venerable Mulian's words had a special meaning. I wonder if he was pitying Vajra Yaksha for being deceived by others, or was he pitying the fake monks of Yuanjue Temple?

Thinking of the group of monks in Yuanjue Temple, the little Taoist couldn't help but ask: "May I ask Monk Mu Lian, where did the yin and yang rift in Hengwang Mountain come from? I remember that that place was originally the place where Master Tongming made alchemy..."

After hearing this, Venerable Mu Lian's smile froze, and then he looked very guilty. He put his palms together on the lotus platform and recited the Buddha's name, and then fell silent.

Zhang Muzhi was surprised at himself, and listened carefully under the lotus seat when the mythical beast raised its head and spoke: "This matter involves a public case back then. Monk Mu Lian feels guilty, so let me speak."

The little Taoist priest nodded quickly: "I was just about to listen to the Venerable to explain my doubts."

Listening to the mythical beast, he stretched his body and explained: "Monk Mu Lian was originally the first disciple of the Western Tathagata, that is, Venerable Moggallana."

"During the Tang Dynasty, Monk Xuanzang sought sutras from my Buddha, Tathagata, and wanted to save sentient beings with Buddhist teachings, but he had little success."

"Venerable Moggallana before the Buddha thought that the people in the East lacked guidance from masters and had difficulty understanding the true meaning of Buddhist scriptures, so he was reborn in the East. After his birth, he was named Mu Lian by his parents..."

"Mu Lian's parents are both honest and responsible people, especially his mother who has a Buddha heart, eats vegetarian food every day, and is accustomed to accumulating virtue and doing good deeds."

"However, when Mulian was seven years old, a flood occurred in the place where he was born. Farmland and houses were flooded. Many people suffered heavy losses, and the child Mulian was also washed away by the flood."

"Suffering from this sudden change, Mu Lian's parents were in pain, and his father was so angry that he fell ill and died not long after."

"Mulien's mother suffered repeated blows and felt that worshiping Buddha was useless. She believed that all theories of karma and retribution were false, so her temperament changed drastically. She no longer had benevolent thoughts, became irritable, greedy, killing, and even secretly harmed the villagers.

Neighbor, he did many evil things, and after his death he was judged by the underworld and forced into hell to be tortured...

"Let the poor monk speak next!" Venerable Mu Lian adjusted his mood and spoke calmly while sitting on the lotus platform.

Listening to the divine beast nodded, Venerable Mulian continued to tell: "The poor monk was washed away by the flood, and was later rescued by a monk from a Buddhist temple. Because he was hit on the head in the water, he forgot all the past events, and he followed the monk in the temple from then on.

Chanting Buddha every day..."

"With the advancement of Buddhism, the poor monk picked up the cultivation practice of his previous life and saw his mother suffering day by day in the Hungry Ghost Hell with his Dharma eyes. His heart was filled with unbearable grief, so he went to the West to seek help from the Buddha."

"My Buddha, Tathagata, rejected the idea of retribution for good and evil, and only instructed me to use the fruits of the four seasons to do the Menglan Basin Festival and offer it to the Buddhas in the heavens. The Bodhisattvas will accumulate merit and atone for my mother's sins."

"Then the poor monk went to the Yinshan Zen Monastery to visit Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and asked the Bodhisattva to use his magic to save my mother from hell..."

Venerable Mulian paused here and said with emotion: "The poor monk did not practice enough at that time and was blinded by sadness. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva often chants sutras here. If my mother could understand a trace of compassion from the sutras,

You can escape from hell without my help..."

Zhang Muzhi nodded and said to himself: "This is not easy to say..."

Venerable Mulian continued: "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is merciful after all. He couldn't bear the poor monk's pleading, so he lent him this nine-ring tin staff and asked him to stretch the staff into the hell to pull my mother out.

Come out..."

"On the top of the Yin Mountain, the poor monk turned the nine-ringed tin staff into thousands of miles long and stretched it into the hell of hungry ghosts. However, my mother couldn't grab the tin staff no matter how she stretched out her hand, so she just cursed."

Zhang Muzhi couldn't help but say: "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva must be using this to tell you that sentient beings in hell cannot escape without a heart of repentance."

Venerable Mulian nodded: "This is what the Bodhisattva meant, but the poor monk couldn't figure it out at the time. He just thought it was because his own magic power was not enough, so he used his whole body's magic power to inject it into the nine-ring tin staff..."

"The nine-ring tin staff, driven by the poor monk's magic power, shined brightly, directly shattering the eighteen levels of hell, and even creating a gap in the barrier between Yin and Yang..."

"Then countless evil ghosts and evil souls in hell fled out like a swarm. Although the poor monk tried his best to stop them with spells, more than a hundred thousand evil souls still rushed into the Yang world from the rift between Yin and Yang."

When the vicious souls from hell rush into the world of heaven, they will naturally cause chaos in the world. Zhang Muzhi couldn't help but ask on the lotus platform: "What happened next?"

Venerable Mulian sighed: "The poor monk naturally rushed to the underworld as soon as possible to capture these evil spirits and ghosts. However, there were too many of them. Even if the poor monk tried his best to transform into clones and travel around, many evil spirits still found opportunities to be reincarnated.

."

"One of the most powerful ghost kings was reincarnated as Huang Chao. He recruited some people who were also reincarnated as evil spirits to serve as generals in an attempt to gain the throne of the human emperor and cause boundless evil..."

Zhang Muzhi couldn't help but shook his head and sighed: "I didn't expect that there would be such a cause and effect back then."

Venerable Mulian nodded: "What the little Taoist said is true. If we look closely at the cause and effect, all the sins are my fault."

"Then the poor monk returned to hell to guard the city of futile death for Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva until the great Bodhisattva reached Nirvana. The poor monk once again inherited the Bodhisattva's legacy and recited sutras to save all sentient beings in hell."

"The poor monk also recruited disciples in Hengwang Mountain and established Chengxin Temple to guard the rift between Yin and Yang, preventing demons from hell from coming out. But now that Zen Temple is also abandoned."

When Venerable Mulian said this, he clasped his hands on the lotus platform and saluted Zhang Muzhi: "The little Taoist priest first guarded the rift between Yin and Yang for the poor monk, and is about to take care of the city of futile death for the poor monk. The poor monk is really grateful and is willing to buy generous gifts.

To express my gratitude!"

Zhang Muzhi quickly waved his hand and declined: "This is a matter that is within the scope of a poor Taoist, so there is no need for any thanksgiving."

Venerable Mu Lian said: "The little Taoist priest has compassion in his heart, so he naturally takes it as a matter of course, but the poor monk has to thank him." After saying this, he pointed to Zhang Muzhi and sat down on the lotus platform: "These two lotus flowers are

It was when Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva sat on the lotus pedestal that the Bodhisattva split it up. Today, the poor monk gave one of the flowers to the little Taoist priest. How about it?"

Zhang Muzhi was startled: "No, no, no! Since this lotus platform was left by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, how can a poor Taoist be able to sit on it if he has cultivated virtues now? Besides, what does a Taoist priest look like sitting on a golden lotus..."

Under the lotus seat, the sacred beast also spoke to persuade: "This lotus symbolizes perfection and purity, and the golden light is just an external image. After your own rituals, you can look like a Taoist, so why can't you sit still? Isn't the Taoist sacredness of sitting on the lotus pedestal missing?"

"And your current cultivation level can't even soar into the clouds and ride in the mist. With this lotus platform, how comfortable can Lingxu ride in the air?"

Zhang Muzhi still shook his head: "No! No!"

The little Taoist priest really didn't want to get too involved with Buddhism, so he even sent back a scripture. If he accepted the lotus platform, the cause and effect would be even more unclear.

Venerable Mu Lian suddenly said: "Buddhists and Taoists are all people who save people, how come the little Taoist priests have a different heart? The end of the Dharma is coming, and it is up to you and I to work together to deal with it."

Zhang Muzhi sat quietly on the lotus platform, silent.

The listening beast shook its tail, stretched on the ground, and said with a smile: "Didn't the little Taoist priest come here to let Buddhism recognize your identity as the city lord who died in vain? If you take this lotus platform and wander around outside, the ten kings of the underworld will know about it.

After knowing our attitude, who do you think will dare to say more when the time comes?"

Zhang Muzhi hesitated and said: "Even if the poor Taoist takes over this lotus platform, with his current cultivation level, he probably won't be able to refine it for use..."

Venerable Mu Lian shook his head and said with a smile: "Little Taoist, I don't know that this lotus platform is a treasure of luck. It does not need to be refined with magical power. You have practiced the Five Dragons' Stinging Technique, and your luck can be revealed by your heart. You only need to cover it with the purple air above your head."

Come down and you can take this treasure for your own use."
