Chapter 1 The Optimistic Boy

When sophomore Li Shen knew that his condition had worsened to the point that there was no cure, he breathed a sigh of relief and decided to leave the hospital immediately.

His great advantage is his optimism and understanding of fate.

"Isn't there still half a year to survive?"

He was jokingly talking to the attending doctor, and he was already planning in his mind whether he should go on a trip or go to a show after leaving the hospital first, and packed his things quickly.

Suddenly a strange voice came:

"Optimist boy, hey, look at me!"

Li Shen followed the sound and saw that the attending physician was looking at him, but he had no intention of speaking, but the voice did come from him.

"Here here!"

After careful analysis, his eyes kept shifting, and finally locked on the pocket of the doctor's white coat, where a blue pen was inserted.

It was broken. Li Shen's first reaction was that not only his body organs were failing, but his brain was also not working well. Why did he suddenly have auditory hallucinations?

Some of the medicines I took in the past few months had side effects of confusion. Now that I have been discharged from the hospital, I just refuse further treatment and the necessary medicines have not been stopped. It should be normal to have hallucinations.

Li Shen shook his head, trying to expel the voice from his mind, put the packed clothes on the bed, and prepared to go through the discharge procedures.

Unexpectedly, several female nurses walked in. The head nurse took his ID and asked to help him get it. The other sisters carried bags of fruits and books and put them on his bed with tears in their eyes.

They all couldn't bear to part with such a sunny and polite little handsome guy.

Li Shen comforted the girls who had been with him for seven or eight months one by one. Under their "denunciation", he promised to come back if he had serious health problems.

After hearing this, they reluctantly went back to work.

Birth, old age, illness and death are all human beings.

"Hey, optimist boy, take me away quickly."

The sound sounded again, and Li Shen frowned, convinced that the sound was indeed coming from the blue pen.

The doctor showed no abnormality during this period. Did he not hear what the pen said?

Are you really crazy?

Li Shen's heart suddenly felt like a big thunderbolt on a rainy day, and then a small thunderbolt flashed out.

Although I only had a good life for half a year, there was a huge difference between being sober and living crazy.

"You are not crazy. If you don't believe it, you can go to a psychiatrist. The person on duty will be my original owner."

Li Shen didn't reply and raised his head to ask the attending physician about the hallucination.

The attending physician asked him to undergo a psychological evaluation before being discharged.

"Yes, if you don't believe it, go make one. Remember to take me with you before you do it."

Originally, Li Shen was about to leave after thanking the head nurse. After hearing this, he hesitated and asked the attending physician to borrow the blue pen.

I held the pen barrel and took a closer look. This pen was completely ordinary, with no signs of anything strange.

...

The psychiatrist handed Li Shen a stack of test questions and asked him to finish them and hand them over.

Blue Water Pen was finally alone in a room with Li Shen, and he started to talk more. He kept complaining about the smell of the hospital, the depressing environment of the hospital, and the fact that the doctors always took pens to each other, making it look like a domestic slave with three surnames.<

/p>

Li Shen silently calmed down in his heart. As a college student with extensive knowledge, he knew a point of view. Most of the time, the hallucinations produced by people are chaotic subconscious. Now what it says happens to be what he knows.

You must be careful not to try to communicate with hallucinations. At worst, you will identify with the hallucinations, and at worst, it will aggravate the development of the disease.

I was discharged from the hospital early so that I could enjoy life and not suffer from schizophrenia before I was discharged from the hospital.

As for why it is hallucination and not the pen that speaks, any normal person would not think so.

After the blue pen complained, it was quiet for a long time. When Li Shen finished the sorting question, it suddenly spoke again:

"You must not arrange this question into: ring, necklace, key, glasses, bracelet, otherwise you will be considered to be schizophrenic and a potential murderer."

Oh, that’s it.

Li Shen had never intended to arrange the questions in this way, so he continued to do the questions as expected.

...

The evaluation results came out in the afternoon. The doctor took the "report card" and lamented that Li Shen's mental health level was excellent, far superior to ordinary people.

"No problem?"

"No problem, young man, you are in good health."

Li Shen cursed, "It would be great if my attending physician said the same thing.

But he still thanked the doctor and handed over the blue pen.

"Fuck, burn the bridge across the river!" Shuibi shouted helplessly.

Halfway through handing it over, I suddenly realized the fact that the pen could speak, and my hand froze in the air.

"Doctor, let me ask a question."

Li Shen asked about the importance of arranging rings and asked about the meaning of the arrangement.

The answer he received completely shocked Li Shen. He would indeed be considered to be schizophrenic and a potential murderer.

Although the doctor said that more tests are needed to get a rough range, in any case, Li Shen had no idea what the answer to this question was.

This shows that the voice coming to my ears is not my hallucination, but what the pen said.

This blue pen can talk!?

As if sensing Li Shen's surprise, the blue pen said:

"I've told you before, but you don't believe it, yet you still go around in such a big circle."

The doctor didn't notice this at all, his eyes were confused, and he didn't know why the little patient in front of him didn't speak for a long time.

Li Shen calmed down and confirmed two things. The first was that this pen could really speak, and the second was that only he could hear its words.

Life is really cruel and interesting. If I were not sick, I would be so excited when encountering such a thing. Unfortunately, it is a talking pen now, but it is just a talking pen.

Li Shen asked the doctor if he could sell the pen to him. The doctor waved his hand and said it was given to him. Anyway, he didn’t know which doctor got it from where.

He is really a "house slave with three surnames".

Before leaving, he finally said goodbye to the attending doctors and nurses, and got two baskets of fruit. One patient even gave him a cup of chicken soup.

Li Shen was touched in his heart, not only because of this group of kind people, but also because this farewell will be a farewell. If nothing unexpected happens, he will never need to come to the hospital again.

The spring outside is bright and the sun is shining on his shoulders. Li Shen feels the atmosphere of the world with his "free body".

The blue pen in my hand was also very excited:

"I finally left this hellish place. I can realize my dream!"

Li Shen lowered his head and looked at the plain ink pen in his hand. He didn't know what to say, and felt a faint feeling of envy.

I don’t have any dreams that I can realize.

As if aware of the thoughts of the person holding him, the blue pen restrained his excitement and said words that made Li Shen stunned:

"Don't be too pessimistic. There is no cure for your disease for ordinary people. Isn't it also possible for those who practice Taoism?"

Monasticism?
