Chapter 63 Being hit

It’s quiet in the private room.

Tingyun leaned against the wall of the corridor, looking at the painting on the opposite wall, but he didn't know what it was about.

It was like downing a cup of bitter tea with ice in one gulp, which made my heart feel cold and uncomfortable.

He suddenly felt that the fatigue he had accumulated in the past few days came up and drowned him like a tide, making him not even want to move.

The waiter passed by him and gave him a strange look.

Tingyun was not used to losing his composure in front of others, so he raised his hands to rub his face, adjusted his expression, and turned back to his private room.

But no matter how he tried to hide it, the energy and joy he felt at the beginning was gone, and he felt uncontrollably depressed.

Qingyu quickly discovered his abnormality, leaned towards him slightly, her big eyes full of concern: "What's wrong with you? Are you feeling uncomfortable?"

Tingyun forced a smile: "I'm fine."

Qingyu’s mother also looked at him with concern:

"Are Tingyun tired? You haven't calmed down in the past few days. You are so scared. If we are full, let's leave and let them go back and rest quickly."

Several people walked out together.

When Qingyu's mother went to the cashier to check out, she learned that Tingyun had already paid, and she laughed angrily:

"You kid, why are you so polite? How can we, the elders, have the nerve to let you, a school student, pay the bill?"

Ting Yunqiang said with energy: "As a senior, I'm sorry for not taking good care of Qingyu. Auntie, just think that I am expressing my apology."

After hearing this, Qingyu’s mother’s expression became more kind:

"I told you not to say that. What can you do with a group of ruthless guys and just two fists?"

She thought for a moment, and her smile deepened: "We are very grateful that you are willing to take care of Qingyu."

If he understood correctly, Qingyu’s mother was testing his attitude towards Qingyu on the one hand, and expressing goodwill on the other.

If he hadn't heard those words, he must be extremely happy now.

But now, Qingyu's parents' affirmation and kindness towards him have another meaning.

They use him as a medicine to cure their daughter's lovesickness.

He smiled politely and said a few perfunctory words without even knowing it.

Qingyu's parents drove here, and Qingyu's mother greeted Zingyun warmly: "Tingyun, get in the car too, and we'll take you back to school first."

Now, Zingyun just wants to be alone and calm down his chaotic thoughts. He politely refuses:

"Thank you, auntie, but this is too much trouble for you. Besides, my roommates will be coming over soon, so I'll wait for them here."

After hearing what he said, Qingyu's mother no longer insisted, said goodbye to him, opened the car door and sat in the back seat.

Qingyu stood by the car and looked at Tingyun quietly.

Perhaps because her parents were there, she was unusually quiet.

Her eyes were like clear lake water, and all his fatigue and loneliness seemed to be clearly reflected in her eyes, leaving nothing to hide.

"I'm leaving first, see you on Saturday." She said goodbye to him briefly.

"Yeah." Tingyun smiled and nodded.

Qingyu looked away, bent down and got into the car, sitting next to her mother.

After the car drove far away, Zingyun turned around and started walking, thinking of taking a taxi across the street.

He was a little distracted. As he walked on the street, his mind was immersed in the conversation he just heard.

After walking two steps, the sound of a vehicle braking suddenly came from ahead.

Only then did he come back to his senses and raised his eyes to look in the direction of the sound.

A private car stopped less than two meters away from him. The driver stuck his head out and shouted angrily:

"What are you doing? On the main road, just walk and watch the road!"

Tingyun completely ignored his thoughts, looked at the vehicles on both sides of the road, and walked directly to the other side of the road.

He flagged down a taxi and got in: "Old Campus of Lancheng University."

The taxi merged into the traffic flow, and half an hour later, it stopped at the door of the student apartment.

Go up to the third floor and open the dormitory door.

The light in the dormitory was very good in the afternoon, and it was rare for the three roommates to be in the dormitory at the same time.

"Tingyun, you've come back standing upright!"

Seeing him come in, Hexu jumped up from the bed first, rushed over and patted him on the shoulder:

"Oh, I've scared the hell out of my brothers this month! But I'm afraid that when I find you, you'll be dead!"

Fengfan also came over: "Why didn't you say anything when you came back? We'll pick you up!"

Chen Mo didn't come over, he just raised his head from the model, glanced at Tingyun, and then immersed himself in studying his model.

Hexu looked back at Chen Mo:

"This kid Chen Mo, his mouth is only for eating, but his brain is really good!

"As for the painting you drew, if Feng Fan and I saw it, we wouldn't think much about it. It was Chen Mo who saw it and came back to tell us. We hurriedly told the police!"

It turned out to be Chen Mo.

Yes, only a person like him who focuses on one thing can pay attention to the information expressed in the painting at the first time.

Tingyun's eyes passed over the faces of the three roommates one after another, with a warm smile: "Thank you!"

Although they didn't say it, Tingyun could imagine:

How He Xu and Feng Fan ran around, how they used all available forces to search for him.

As for Chen Mo, he doesn't say anything, but he is worried about him.

Good brother, you don’t need to say anything, you know it in your heart!

Tingyun went into the bathroom and took a shower. After washing away the dust all over his body, he became the same energetic person again.

He called his instructor to make sure he was safe, and took out his luggage and put it away.

In the evening, the four people in the dormitory went to have dinner and drink together to celebrate his safe return.

After eating, the four of them walked back arm in arm.

Tingyun's drinking capacity was average, and he was a little tipsy after not drinking much. He returned to the dormitory, washed himself and lay down on the bed.

The cell phone beside the pillow rang.

He picked it up to see if it was sunny or rainy, or there were several unread messages:

14:23: I’m home, have you arrived at the dormitory?

16:46: I woke up from my nap and ate a lot of delicious food. What are you doing?

18:58: I think you suddenly felt unhappy later today. Did something happen?

Tingyun read these three messages word by word, as if he wanted to learn something from them.

What she said was very ordinary, but it had a sense of familiarity and intimacy. But there was no evidence of any emotion contained in it.

A girl's heart is not like a math problem. As long as you use the correct method, you can get the correct answer without any doubts.

For the first time in his life, Tingyun encountered an unsolvable problem and didn't know how to get the answer.

He stared at the phone screen in a daze, and suddenly a new message popped up:

"Tingyun, have you arrived at the dormitory? After seeing the message, can you reply to me?"

Is she worried because she hasn't gotten a reply from him?

Her tone was almost pleading, making him unable to harden his heart no matter what.

He clicked on the chat box, but didn't know which sentence to reply. After thinking for a while, he simply replied with four words: "I've been here a long time ago."

Qingyu replied instantly: "It's good to be here. Then have a good rest."
