Chapter 4 Survivors(2/2)

"I have trained, and my arm strength is amazing." Deng Yun bent his forearm, but his biceps did not bulge as expected.

Cold sweat broke out, and Deng Yun had the urge to rush into the zombies.

"It's not important, as long as you can kill the zombies, can you do me a favor?" Yan Shifang asked.

Deng Yun became alert. Beauty is a beauty, and she only has one life, so she can't help with anything.

"Um...what exactly is it?" Deng Yun asked.

Yan Shifang looked at the ground and said softly: "If there is still a chance to go back to the underground garage, can you take me to find someone?"

"Who is it? Is there anyone alive in the underground garage?" Deng Yun asked doubtfully.

Yan Shifang raised her head, tears welling up in her eyes. She tried her best to control her emotions: "My mother, I want to confirm whether she is still alive."

"I refuse." Deng Yun replied.

…………

The tiled floor made it hard and cold to sleep on, but for Deng Yun, he could fall asleep as long as there was a place to walk.

After experiencing the first battle, he was already exhausted, both physically and mentally. He just wanted to have a good sleep.

When he woke up, it was already afternoon.

He checked his cell phone and found no new messages. He sent messages to his father and monkey, but received no reply.

Yan Shifang was still sitting on the chair, with the back of her head leaning against the wall, her eyes closed, and she seemed to be asleep.

Seeing her, Deng Yun recalled the scene of her choking.

He felt a little irritable, lowered his head and continued to scroll through his phone.

There was no reply from his father, so he wanted to find someone to chat with. He opened the friend list. Among the few friends in it, except for the monkey, no one wanted to chat. However, the monkey now has no information, and he doesn’t know if he has been rescued.

What if my father is gone?

This question suddenly popped up in his mind, and Deng Yun felt panicked, as if his chest was empty.

He took his cell phone and sent several more messages to his father, but there was no reply.

They are all gone, they are all gone, they are all gone...

There was a voice in my heart that kept repeating this sentence, torturing Deng Yun's nerves.

He stopped sending messages and called directly. No one answered the first time, and no one answered the second time. He made the call mechanically and repeatedly until a teardrop fell on the screen of his mobile phone.

With one drop, the tears fell down like a dam, blurring the vision.

I don’t know how long I cried before a pack of tissues appeared in front of me.

Deng Yun took the tissue and looked up to see Gao Letian's handsome face.

Gao Letian sat directly next to Deng Yun and asked: "Do you miss your family?"

"Yeah." Deng Yun nodded.

"Are you still alive?" Gao Letian continued to ask.

"I don't know."

Gao Letian stood up and said: "Since you don't know, why not confirm it yourself? What's the use of crying?"

Deng Yun looked at the other party blankly, his heart suddenly enlightened.

"Why have you been looking at me?"

"Thank you." Deng Yun said.
