Chapter 44 E-level mission: Cleaning the room(1/2)

(Ten thousand rewards plus more updates)

In the Hokage Building.

Namikaze Minato took Kakashi and Uchiha Tunan into the Hokage's office.

"Hokage-sama, is there any suitable mission for us?"

Sarutobi Hiruzen glanced at Uchiha Tunan who was following Minato Namikaze and looking at him with reverence.

He nodded silently.

Then he said to Namikaze Minato: "There happens to be a very troublesome E-level mission here. You should take them to get familiar with it first."

"E-level? Isn't the lowest level D-level?" Namikaze Minato said with a confused look on his face.

Sarutobi Hiruzen coughed lightly and said:

"Ahem, the main reason is that the client this time is one of the first batch of civilian ninjas who joined Konoha when it was founded.

This man was too old and his legs were paralyzed, so he asked someone to give him the task of cleaning the house.

But he was only willing to pay a commission fee of two hundred taels.

We thought he was a senior, so we had no choice but to accept him.

And the village does not charge fees."

"Is that so...a paralyzed old man..." Namikaze Minato hesitated for a moment, considering whether to take on this mission.

After all, this mission is only two hundred taels, and there are three people in my team.

According to the rules, he has to divide one hundred taels, while Kakashi and Uchiha Tunan each have fifty taels.

A portion of tonkotsu ramen costs sixty taels.

There are really too few.

Sarutobi Hiruzen also saw Namikaze Minato's doubts and sighed:

"However, the reward for this task is too low, and no leading teacher is willing to take it.

If you are willing to accept it, the mission level can be recorded as D level for you."

Uchiha Tunan glanced at Sarutobi Hiruzen's frown, and then glanced at the task list on the table.

A look of distress and pity suddenly appeared on his face.

I feel sorry for Hiruzen Sarutobi who is in trouble.

As Sarutobi Hiruzen's loyal horse boy, he naturally worries about Sarutobi first.

As for pity...the paralyzed old man is really pitiful.

Anyway, Uchiha Tunan never wanted to earn that pitiful ramen money through these garbage tasks.

He immediately reached out and pulled Bo Feng Shuimen's sleeve and said:

"Teacher Minato, take it.

I don’t need any money.”

Namikaze Minato looked sideways and seemed to see the innocence and kindness of Uchiha Tunan on the face of that young man.

He immediately smiled knowingly, turned to Sarutobi Hiruzen and nodded, "No problem, we'll take it."

As expected, Tunan is still kind.

Sarutobi Hiruzen smiled kindly at Uchiha Tunan and handed the task list to Namikaze Minato.

The three bowed to Hiruzen Sarutobi and then left the Hokage's office.

Namikaze Minato walked out of the office and handed the task list to Uchiha Tunan.

"You understand this mission, right? I'll trouble you two then."

Uchiha Tunan took the task order, smiled slightly and said:

"It's my honor to be able to do something trivial for Konoha-senpai."

The three of them had just walked out of the Hokage Building when they suddenly saw Kushina half-body inserted into the trash can, leaving only one leg fluttering outside.

The corner of Namikaze Minato's mouth twitched slightly, "Kushina, what are you doing."

"Bang~" Kushina seemed to be frightened, and the trash can overturned to the ground, and the garbage poured out buried it.

Kushina suddenly jumped out of the garbage heap, feeling crazy and stammering:

"Ah~ no... nothing..."

Before he could say anything, he screamed and ran away.

"I still have something to do, I'll go back first!"

.......

Under the eaves of a dilapidated courtyard in the heart of Konoha.

An old man with a ferocious face sat in a wheelchair, looked at Namikaze Minato and the others and said:

"You are the ninjas who took on this mission, right?"

Namikaze Minato smiled slightly, patted Kakashi and Uchiha Tunan's shoulders with both hands and said: "Yes, these two little guys will help you clean the house this time."

The old man nodded indifferently and said:

"Well, you two little guys, be careful. If you break something, you have to pay for it according to the price."

After saying that, he pushed the wheelchair to the house while still yelling.

"If the cleaning is not thorough, I will not sign the task list.

Don’t think that you can easily make money from me when I’m old.”

Namikaze Minato warned the two of them: "Then I'll leave first. When you complete the task, come find me on the rooftop of the Hokage Building."

After saying that, the figure disappeared in an instant.

For a D-level task like this, the leading teacher does not need to do it himself, he only needs to supervise.

Cleaning a room is not like catching cats and dogs. There is no danger at all, so Minato Namikaze doesn't bother to waste time here.

Uchiha Tunan and Kakashi looked at each other, rolled up their sleeves and started doing it.

Kakashi rarely does housework, but fortunately Uchiha Tunan gave him a hint and told him to tidy things up first.

However...

"Danglang~"

Kakashi stared dumbfoundedly at the teapot that fell to the ground, feeling speechless.

Just now, Kakashi wanted to put the teapot back in place, but as soon as he lifted it up, the handle was broken directly.

"Damn you kid, this is a teapot from the time of the first generation of adults." The old man who heard the voice rushed over angrily.

Kakashi just replied indifferently, "I apologize."

Hearing that Kakashi offered to compensate, the anger on the old man's face instantly subsided a lot, and he took out a small abacus from his pocket and began to calculate.

"When I bought it, the price was twenty taels, including the current price increase.

You have to compensate me...two thousand taels."

Kakashi nodded, expressionlessly took out his wallet from his ninja bag, and began to count the money.

Uchiha Tunan, who was putting the sundries in the drawer, stood up quickly, stopped Kakashi who was stupidly giving money, and said to the old man:

"Grandpa, go buy a new teapot now. The most expensive one is only two hundred taels."

Unexpectedly, the old man snorted coldly, looked at Uchiha Tunan with an unhappy face and said:

"After so many years, this is already an antique. It's not expensive, but its age and significance are important."

"Can we discuss it? Kakashi just picked it up normally. He didn't expect that the handle would suddenly break."

Kakashi didn't want to waste time arguing about this small amount of money, so he pushed Uchiha Tunan's hand away and said:

"Stop talking, I'll compensate."

The old man took the two thousand taels handed over by Kakashi and stuffed them into his shriveled wallet.

"Humph, that's enough, you can continue."

Uchiha Tunan sighed helplessly and said to Kakashi:

"Kakashi, you go back first, I'm better at cleaning the room."

Kakashi didn't want to do these rubbish tasks, but he still whispered: "But this is my task."

Uchiha Tunan smiled gently, patted Kakashi on the shoulder and said:

"This is our mission, as long as it is completed.

You go back and practice hard, and increasing your strength will be the greatest help to our team.
To be continued...
