Chapter 6 The so-called ancient RPG(1/2)

The woods and bushes were pushed aside, making a rustling sound.

Knight Hero stuck his head out and observed the front with a solemn expression. When he saw the scene ahead, he froze and stood there, while the prince Hamlet who was following him also stopped and touched his chin.

"We...may be under magic." Shiloh said hesitantly.

Ahead is a small open space, a short wooden pillar, and a burned-out bonfire.

This is already the fifth time that they have returned to the origin of their encounter.

"It's so weird to be trapped here despite walking in a straight line!" Shiloh said.

"Well, is it possible that the forest itself is moving?" Hamlet responded.

"What do you mean, your Excellency, this forest is alive?"

"Hmph, it seems that the Demon King will not let us get the Holy Sword so easily."

"Is it the devil's method?" Shiloh exclaimed.

"Knight, what we have to face is the devil who wants to destroy the kingdom. Things are not that easy."

"So, the solution is..."

"That's right."

Hamlet drew his sword and calmly slashed at a tree in front of him.

The sword was deeply embedded in the tree, but it could not be cut cleanly in two. Because of the imprecise force exertion technique, the prince's hand also fell into deep numbness from the shock.

It hurts a little.

"Don't be stunned, come and chop together."

Urged by Hamlet, Hilo was still a little hesitant, but he also took action. Hilo's swordsmanship was much better than Hamlet's. The charged sword light could even chop several trees that were close together.

Break.

Hamlet put all the felled trees into his backpack. After looking at the material "trees" for X99, they were separated into another grid. Hamlet found it very convenient.

The two of them were cutting down trees while moving forward.

If they could look down from above, they would be able to see that the road where trees had been cut down appeared khaki in the vast greenery, and the khaki road line gradually formed a beautiful oval shape at a distance of 8 or 9 degrees from the straight line.

, from day to dusk, going round and round.

The bushes in the forest were pushed aside, making a rustling sound.

Knight Hero stuck his head out and observed the front with a solemn expression. When he saw the scene ahead, he froze and stood there, while the prince Hamlet who was following him also stopped and touched his chin.

"Magic! Haven't we cracked the magic yet?"

"It seems," Hamlet said hesitantly, "we are simply lost."

"But it is said that the dragon's lair is in the west of the forest. We have been going in a straight line, how could we get lost?"

So it turns out that the black-haired prince seems to have understood that a road idiot will not know that he is a road idiot.

Seeing him confidently leading the way, I thought I was absolutely prepared.

"Hiro, haven't you ever gotten lost when you went out with your friends?"

At this mention, Shiloh vaguely thought of something. Has he always been used to following others? Huh? When did this happen? Huh? What did he think of just now?

Moving his attention away from the thoughts covered by the smoke, Shiloh saw his new companion sitting back on the wooden pile, thinking about something alone.

"Speaking of which, what kind of evil dragon are we looking for? What abilities does it have? How do you plan to deal with it?"

The knight looked at the prince blankly with an expression like "What are you talking about?"

"Aren't you prepared?"

Shiloh pointed to the sword he was carrying, patted the armor he was wearing and said, "They are enough."

"That's it. Let's have dinner first. It seems that we need to consider the long term before slaying the dragon."

"Princess Sasha is still in the hands of the devil, we must rescue her as soon as possible!"

"It's necessary to save, but you see it's getting dark, and you won't be able to find your way by then." Hamlet took out the mushroom from his backpack, "And you see, it's not that I don't trust your strength, but the dragon also

They are not creatures that can be defeated easily. Both dragons and humans need to eat. Only when they are full..."

There was a rustling sound from behind the jungle, and a wild boar shook its head and broke into their sight, looking at the silent two people with innocent and ignorant eyes.

"...good to go."

A few hours later.

The sky has completely darkened. The wild boar was skewered on the grill without moving. Shiloh flipped the simple grill silently. Hamlet on the side found a stone bowl from somewhere. He smashed a large number of mushrooms with rough stones.

Turn it into powder and then sprinkle it on the roasted pig.

Suddenly a strange fragrance filled the air, and as the bonfire burned, the fragrance became thicker and thicker.

"It smells so good." Shiloh praised.

"Oh, if the wind picks up the fragrance can spread further."

"After eating, we will continue to search for the dragon's nest." The knight swallowed unconsciously.

"By the way, dragons can fly," Hamlet asked, "What does it sound like?"

A roar sounded from a distance, from far to near, at a very fast speed.

"That's about it." Shiloh concentrated on tearing off a piece of barbecue and seemed absent-minded when answering.

A ball of flames exploded from behind the two of them, and the wave of flames lit up the forest not far away. A giant dragon flapped its wings and hovered in the air. After another breath of flames, it leaned down and rushed down, its strong hind legs

Caught the roast suckling pig with both claws.

"Evil dragon!" Shiloh drew out his sword. Although the first two sneak attacks caught him off guard, he quickly adjusted his posture. Facing a dragon several times its size, the knight's eyes were cautious but not fearful.<

The firelight illuminated the dragon's black scales and sharp spines. It lowered its thick neck slightly, and its cold gaze swept across the knight who raised his sword against it. The dragon suddenly opened its mouth and let out a deafening roar.

The roaring impact made Hilo take two steps back. Although his expression was slightly painful, Hilo did not relax his grip on the sword.

The dragon's eyes seemed to be disdainful. He waved his wings to stir up dust and prepared to take off.

"Don't even think about running away."

Hero jumped up with his sword in hand, but felt his body sink as if being dragged down by a heavy object, and fell to the ground instantly. He turned around and saw Hamlet pulling him, and both of them fell to the ground.

"What are you doing!"

"Our goal is not to slay the dragon, but to find the holy sword in the dragon's nest!"

While the two were arguing, the giant dragon had already flapped its wings and flew towards a certain direction in the forest.

"What are you still doing? Chase me quickly!"

The black-haired prince jumped up and shouted to the knight.

If there is a target to follow, Luchi will not get lost - at least Shiloh has not reached that hopeless state.

With the help of the moonlight and the two extraordinary physical abilities, they did not lose the giant dragon.

"That's it! Your Excellency is using a strategy to lure the evil dragon out! Let the target appear on its own initiative to break this weird forest maze."

On the way, Hero praised Hamlet who followed diligently behind him.

"Ah? Ah, yes, that's what happened. You finally understand." Hamlet accidentally tripped over a stone under his feet while running. He instinctively stood up with one hand on the ground and did a beautiful back flip, and then shook his body.

Shaking and shaking, he finally managed to stabilize his body without falling. "I thought of this move when I saw those mushrooms, um, that's right."

"I can see that your body has been well-trained for a long time...is it not in good condition recently?" Shiloh looked curiously at the vigorous and childish movements of his companion.

"Have you seen my body? When? It's not good if you don't even tell me."

Isn't this bad? Hilo reflected for a while and found that the opponent's hands had calluses left by martial arts training. The arms exposed by rolling up the cuffs had thick muscles. Even if he was wearing luxurious traveler clothes, he had a strong body that could not be concealed——

Indeed, it is a bit rude to make such secret observations on your companions.

"Sorry, I was rude. I will tell you in time next time."

"Because you are good-looking, so just say it, right?"

Shiloh: "?"

The black-haired prince deliberately changed the subject. For some reason, he didn't want to continue discussing his abilities. He had a certain fighting ability, but he felt a little inconsistent when he actually wanted to fight.

When the dragon attacked before, I relied on my instinct to throw myself down and hide behind the trees. I avoided several attacks from the dragon, and I was well hidden. Finally, when the dragon was about to fly away, I suddenly thought of stopping it.

Shiloh also shot quickly and accurately.

But if you want to attack something deliberately, your body movements will become very awkward.

I must have gone through a lot of exercise. I am a prince, but why do I always feel that I lack exercise? I drink too much happy water and I am a keyboard warrior. Please don’t come to me?

From a distance, I saw a giant dragon flying into a cave, and not long after, the two of them came to the cave.

The cave is on the side of a mountain. Looking inside, the cave is quite deep. The moonlight can only illuminate a circle around the entrance of the cave. The further inward, the darker it becomes.
