Chapter 6 Tea House Massacre

"Don't step on it." Yun Xi immediately stopped Leng Hai who was about to enter the tea shop and whispered: "Bring this with you."

She handed over a pair of thin and soft foot muffs. Leng Hai twisted them in his hands and looked at them for a long time, but he couldn't tell what kind of leather they were made of.

After putting on the footwear, Leng Hai entered the tea shop.

Lu Qingfan's sword hilt lightly touched Yun Xi's shoulder.

Yun Xi, who was looking into the curtain, turned her head and met Lu Qingfan's dark eyes. She asked doubtfully: "Master Lu, what's wrong?"

Lu Qingfan's thin lips parted slightly: "I want it too."

"What do you want?"

After saying this, Yun Xi suddenly understood and asked Qing Guo to give Lu Qingfan a pair of foot muffs as well.

"Sir, my lady sewed these from rabbit skin, and the Communist Party of China made two pairs! Are they comfortable?" Qingguo boasted with a smile while looking at Lu Qingfan's feet.

"...Comfortable." Lu Qingfan nodded slightly and said to the master and servant Yun Xi, "Wait a moment."

Since there are only two pairs of gloves, everyone can only go in separately to investigate.

After a while, Lu Qingfan and Leng Hai came out.

Leng Hai pinched his nose and said to Yun Xi's master and servant who had put on leggings: "Miss Yun, blood and water are splattered inside, and it's very dirty..." Girls, please don't go in, right?

"I'm a gangster." Yun Xi raised her head and emphasized, "The thing I'm not afraid of the most is the crime scene."

If everyone despises the filth and stench, who else can redress the injustice of the deceased?

Leng Hai was shocked to realize that he had made a mistake and hurriedly apologized with fists in his hands.

Yun Xi waved her hands and didn't take it to heart.

Lu Qingfan's appreciative gaze was quietly withdrawn after the master and servant lifted the curtain and entered.

"Miss Yun, it's very good." Leng Chuan said five words simply.

"Tch, you seem to know that." Leng Hai curled his lips angrily.

As soon as Yun Xi entered this room, he was startled by the embarrassed appearance in the tea shop.

"Good boy, the criminal is too cruel." Qingguo shouted softly.

Two women and five men were dead in the house. One woman and one man died at the table, while the other woman and four men fell in a pool of blood.

The surrounding tables and chairs were arranged in a messy manner, with blood and water splattered everywhere. It was obvious that there had been a fierce fight, but there were not many footprints on the ground. Yun Xi could only roughly identify the footprints of three or four people.

Wearing translucent gloves, she briefly looked at the wounds on the deceased's body and said calmly: "Record."

Qingguo immediately took out his small notebook and said, "Miss, please tell me."

"The man A and the daughter died of having their throats cut. They had never fought with anyone during their lifetimes. Their bodies were still osmotic and they died less than a day ago." Yun Xi pointed at the two people at the table.

Qingguo recorded it completely.

For the deceased whom she did not know, Yun Xi used to use "Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches" instead of names to make it easier to distinguish them.

"Male B, man C, man D, and man E all died of excessive blood loss, with more than one fatal injury. The time of death was... about half a cup of tea later than that of man A. The child of the child was about half a cup of tea later. The ugly woman did not know how to use martial arts, and was killed.

Killed with a knife through the abdomen."

After saying that, Yun Xi looked at Qing Guo, who stopped writing, indicating that he was finished.

"Get out." Yun Xi took off her sheepskin gloves and walked out.

"Ah, aren't we going to do an autopsy?" Qingguo transformed into a curious baby and followed closely.

"Try it somewhere else."

The crime scene was heavily stained with blood, and it would be troublesome if any hidden clues were destroyed.

After opening the curtain, Yun Xi discovered that the Leng brothers were missing.

Lu Qingfan saw the doubt in her heart and explained in a low voice: "Leng Chuan went to find the magistrate of Feng County to find the suspects who have been wanted for many years; Leng Hai is cleaning the small room in the back."

That small room was a place where sundries were stored, so it was cleared so that Yunxi could conduct an autopsy on the spot.

"Your Excellency, you are thoughtful." Yun Xi nodded gratefully, then smiled at Qing Guo: "Will you go and help Guard Leng?"

"Come on, slaves are best at manual labor!" Qingguo rolled up his sleeves with a smile and joined the team carrying the debris from the small room.

Leng Hai advised, "Little girl, don't do this job." After seeing Qingguo walking out with a giant pickling vat in one hand, he touched his nose and closed his mouth.

We really need a little girl with natural powers to help us!

"Miss Qingguo is very strong." Lu Qingfan looked at the two busy figures, his eyes brightening slightly.

"Qing Guo has a special physique and is a rare treasure." Yun Xi sighed, then brought the topic back to the teahouse tragedy and reported the preliminary autopsy results.

Hearing Yun Xi call the deceased "Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches", Lu Qingfan glanced at the small book recording the condition of the corpse with interest, and imitated this name to express his judgment:

"Man A and man B have thick calluses on their jaws and fingertips. They must be people who are good at martial arts. These two men have fierce faces, are over thirty years old, and have opened a tea shop in this remote place..."

Based on Lu Qingfan's many years of experience in solving cases, there may be a gang hiding here with criminal records.

"Man A, the son and daughter should be husband and wife, and they have the highest status among the people." Yun Xi gently tapped his chin and speculated: "Their throats were cut, but the amount of blood on the table was not enough. Maybe this tea shop is not

The place where they both died."

"You mean, there are other crime scenes?" Lu Qingfan tightened his sword hand.

Man A and his wife are the starting point of the seven murders in this teahouse.

The death scene of those two people must be found.

Lu Qingfan asked Yun Xi to stay here while he went to search.

Yun Xi nodded in agreement.

In this compartment, Leng Hai and Qing Guo had already cleared out the small room. They used white sheets to carry out the bodies one by one and placed them neatly in the small room.

Qingguo moved two dusty tables in the corner of the tea shop and put them together, wiping them quickly so that the young lady could conduct an autopsy on them later.

Yun Xi dug out the autopsy tools, put on her gloves, and entered the small room.

Just as Leng Hai was about to follow him in, Qingguo, holding a dozen candles in his arms, stopped him outside the door: "Brother Hai, please guard the tea shop. Miss and I can do it."

Leng Hai, who wanted to watch around, smiled: "Okay."

Lu Qingfan and his party were divided into three groups to perform their own duties: Leng Chuan went to the county town to find helpers; Yun Xi's master and servant performed an autopsy; Lu Qingfan searched around the tea shop to find the place where the crime of Mr. A and his wife occurred, and Leng Hai guarded the scene of the tea shop.

Although Yun Xi had just become a prisoner, she intuitively judged that the murderer's purpose of killing A man and his son might be the key to this case; she chose to look at these two people a priori.

His agile eyes stared at Man A's body without blinking, examining the teeth, nose, etc., not missing any detail.

"Male A, between thirty-two and thirty-four years old, right-handed, good at swordsmanship and boxing..."

Yun Xi stared at the faint scars on the back of his hands and the calluses that had mostly faded away, "But in the past few years, he has neglected martial arts training and has been pampered."

Glancing at the deceased's swollen abdomen, Yun Xi briefly touched the person's skull, femur, etc., and confirmed that the deceased's skeleton was too large, resembling a northerner, and prepared to perform a laparotomy.

"Ping Dao," Yun Xi stretched out her hand, and Qing Guo conveniently handed her the knife she needed.

"Hook pliers."

"Gut knife."

Yun Xi removed all the organs from the deceased's abdominal cavity and examined them one by one. During this period, Qingguo handed over tools, took notes, and lit candles for lighting. He was very busy.

While the master and servant were busy working around the body of the deceased, Lu Qingfan was not idle either.

This tea shop occupies only half an acre, with a front tea shop, a counter, two small bedrooms on the side, and a separate small room for storing sundries outside.

It is really unreasonable to accommodate seven people in two bedrooms, including a couple.

Lu Qingfan immediately thought that there must be something special inside the teahouse.

But when he and Leng Hai checked, they didn't find the secret room inside, so he wanted to try his luck outside.

Lu Qingfan first checked the roof, and there was nothing unusual. His eyes fell on the wet and muddy wasteland behind the tea shop, which connected to the rice fields in front. At first glance, there was nothing wrong with it, but upon closer inspection, it looked a bit awkward.

He landed steadily on the wasteland using Qinggong, and heard a muffled sound coming from under his feet.

is empty.

Without saying a word, Lu Qingfan pushed aside the weeds and saw two copper handles. Pulling the handles to lift a round iron cover, Lu Qingfan lowered his head and saw: Under the dark round hole, there was a bottomless section of clean steps.
