Chapter 6: The Ruins of the Craftsman God

As a human being in his previous life, it was certainly impossible for Vincent to sleep in the coffin of his previous lord.

Miss Bone found another decent room and let the lord rest for the night.

The unlucky Niniya was sent to serve the lord, but she was afraid of being eaten alive.

Thank God, the lord was too busy with his thoughts to toss and turn during his rest, so he did not ask her to sleep with him.

But the terrifying scythe demon stared at her so hard that she didn't dare to doze off all night.

The next day, Vincent woke up refreshed and saw dark circles under Niniya's eyes.

"Give her some olive oil and honey, apply it on yourself and massage it." Vincent said to Miss Gu, "otherwise others will think I did something to her."

"Even so, it is her honor." Miss Gu disagreed, "Girls in the countryside always dream of meeting a prince."

"I want to go out." Vincent ordered, "Let her stay and learn etiquette and rules."

"As you command, Your Highness."

There is no other purpose today than to worship the remains of the Temple of the God of Craftsman.

The prince is protected by the God of Craftsman, and he chose the coastal territory because the temple of the patron saint is within the territory.

Ironically, due to lack of attention and lack of believers, the Temple of the Craftsman God was abandoned hundreds of years ago, and few people in the local area know its location.

Therefore, yesterday Vincent ordered the knowledgeable lichs to sort out the books and documents in the castle to search for information related to the God of Craftsmanship.

I have to say that Lich, who was originally a magician, is really good at doing research.

The ruins of the Craftsman God Temple are located to the north of Silver Dragon Castle, not too far away.

Early in the morning, Vincent rode a dark nightmare beast and led a team composed of monsters, caves, shadow demons and harpies, marching through the city in a mighty way under the gaze of the people peeping through the cracks in the doors and windows.

And passed.

The lord's castle and the residential areas within the city walls are completely two worlds.

The town is large and scattered, with narrow streets crisscrossing each other, and the layout is unplanned. It is just random private construction wherever possible.

There are no beautiful buildings on the street. Many are low and narrow two-story buildings, and many more are simple bungalows, and even semi-crypt houses.

At a glance, there are discolored walls and moss-covered thatched roofs. The smell of dampness, mold, and smoke from fireworks is nauseating.

Dirty potholes are the norm on the ground. There are only a handful of stone pavements. Pigs and sheep roam freely, chickens and dogs chase them back and forth. They are beaten by the town guard and run around and scream, leaving a mess of feces all over the ground.

There are quite a few business shops, but many of them are closed.

Among the people watching the excitement, children were in rags, women were unkempt, old men were skinny, young men were idle, and many people had nothing to do.

The city is doing everything it can to cry poverty to its new lord.

Lord Vincent was not disgusted by this, nor did he complain. He just remained silent and his face was as dark as water. Many people saw a look of compassion on his face.

Things have their origins and things have their beginnings, and he knows that this cannot be changed immediately.

Qiu made no mistakes wherever the team passed, and the low-level demons did not dare to make any mistakes under the leadership of the royal family.

After a short half-day of trekking, Vincent finally found the remains of the so-called Craftsman God.

This ruins is located in the wild woods. From a distance, it looks like a mashup of Stonehenge and the ruins of the Old Summer Palace, and it takes advantage of the shortcomings of both.

Due to the passage of time, vines and moss have covered the original marble components. Half of the collapsed roof remains, and the remaining decent stones have long been taken away.

"The hobbits found a wooden house." The Lich leader reported to Vincent, "There are people living inside."

"Be polite and bring him to see me." Vincent said, "I want to ask about the situation here."

The monsters escorted a sloppily dressed young man.

The boy was in his early teens, with a round head and disheveled hair. He was wearing old priest clothes that were obviously one size larger than his body. He had no shoes on his feet and looked like a middle school student who had dropped out of school.

This look made the demons very intolerable. If he had been in his old school, Vincent would have prioritized him as an extremely poor student and received first-tier scholarships.

However, even if this appearance was placed in Silver Dragon Castle City, he would not even be qualified to be a beggar.

"Good afternoon, child, I am the local lord Vincennes von Styakad." Vincent introduced himself and asked in a concerned tone, "Who are you? Are you a handyman for the temple? A priest?

…even if I didn’t say it.”

Seeing a bunch of demons, the child didn't show much surprise.

"Oh, so you are the lord." The child managed to squeeze out a trace of respect on his face, and then saluted Vincent, "My name is Faith, I am not a handyman, I am a sage here. Our family has worshiped the craftsman god for generations.

By now I am already the 18th generation."

The sage? Vincent was surprised and couldn't help but respect this child.

This can be regarded as not forgetting the original intention.

"I brought food and clothes." Vincent thought for a moment and said to the child without accountability, "I think you need to eat something first."

"Thank you sir, God bless you."

The young man did not refuse. He accepted the food that Vincent had prepared as a sacrifice, but did not eat it immediately, which seemed very polite.

"The Craftsman God gave me a dream yesterday, saying that an apostle is coming, and it seems to be you. Do you want to sacrifice to the god?" Faith asked weakly, "If you want, I can hold a ceremony for you. If

The gods favor you and may communicate with you.”

So, it seems that the Craftsman God still cares about him.

"Exactly what I want." Vincent replied happily. "Show your true skills. If you do well, I will rebuild the temple and let you do the priest's work."

"I don't know anything except trance, and I can't be a priest well," Faith humbly refused, "I just hope that the repairs here can be better."

The monster soldiers were guarding the outside. Vincent, the Lich leader and the giant scythe, led by Faith, entered the half-collapsed circular main hall.

The floor inside is cleaner than outside. It can be seen that Fes is cleaning it frequently. The throne of the God of Craftsman has long been empty. I don't know if the statue has been destroyed or sold.

Vincent looked up and saw a mural in the center of the huge dome above his head. It was probably too high to touch, and it was relatively well preserved.

Even if it was half damaged, Vincent could still identify the graphics drawn on the mural.

It is actually a composition of parted geometry.

The palm in the center is open, and there are novices holding several tools on the five fingers. There is one hand in the novice that does not hold tools, and there are five hands extending from the five fingers. In addition to the hand holding tools, there is another hand.

Grow fingers...

With such expansion, the entire picture is filled with tools and hands that are constantly spreading. What’s even better is that the styles of the tools seem to be constantly evolving with the times.

This profound and mysterious picture attracted Vincent so much that he didn't even notice that the magic circle for the ceremony was ready.

"It's wonderful." Vincent praised, "Great ingenuity!"

"Dear Sir, the magic circle of the gods is ready." Fes's voice came from beside him, "Please note that the god Crafts does not like meaningless pomps and does not need sacrifices for mortals.

.

"Then how do I please the gods?"

"To connect to the divine consciousness, you must impress Him with sincerity."

In general, the preferences of gods are generally known to everyone on the street, but the preferences of the craftsman god Craftus are really unpopular knowledge.

"Please tell me what to do." Vincent asked humbly, "The Craftsman God is the god I admire most. If you have any requests, I will try my best to satisfy them."

"Do you have the protection of the Craftsman God?" Faith asked, "If not, whatever you offer will be in vain."

"I am fortunate to have this kind of divine power." Vincent replied proudly, "I think from the bottom of my heart that this is the best blessing in the world."

"Then, please present the items you recently made with blessing to the God of Craftsman as an offering."

Although he thought that what he made would not be on the market, Vincent still decided to choose honesty.

There was a harpy that could fly, and the model of the "Louis XVI Happy Platform" that Vincent had just made was quickly taken and enshrined in the altar.

A miracle happened, an indescribable light rose in the magic circle, and Vincent's small creation disappeared in front of several people.

At the same time, the environment around Vincent instantly turned into a void. He was suspended in the space, with various unnamed artifacts floating around him, some exquisite, some huge, some weird, and some inexplicable.

However, when his hands touched those things, the objects disappeared in an instant, leaving only a dissipated light.

Could this be the legendary divine realm?

"Did you offer me something I've never seen before to protect the one I'm protecting?"

A disembodied voice sounded in his ears, and Vincent looked around blankly, but did not see anyone.

"Dear God, I praise you, thank you, and worship you!" Vincent shouted excitedly, "Being close to you is my greatest happiness. Look at these sexy masterpieces..."

Although there is undoubtedly an element of flattery in these words, Vincent can ask himself that apart from the rhetorical methods of his words, his feelings are absolutely sincere.

"Needless to say, since I am Yu's apostle, I will give your work a rating first."

As soon as he heard the score, Vincent felt inexplicably flustered.

At this moment, he realized how the students who had submitted their graduation projects in front of him felt.

Amidst the uncontrollable nervousness, the divine voice of the Craftsman God finally sounded.

"Except for novelty, everything else is useless, very good!"

"The perfect score is ten, right?"

Although he had an ominous premonition in his heart, Vincent still asked shamelessly.

"Full score is 100 points, pathetic guy, look what you did with my protection."

This comment was not a good sign. There was a buzz in the lord's mind and cold sweat started to flow.

"Failure is the mother of success. Only when you know your shame can you be brave..." Vincent was so nervous that he was a little incoherent. "What does this little regret mean?"
