Chapter 28: Wild Beast Tornado

As we all know, the southern part of the continent is not the homeland of the orcs.

These orcs, who look like upright beasts, have been living in the ancient wilderness of the north since ancient times.

The demons invaded from the south and never touched their homeland.

However, even before the invasion of the demons, the orcs had been regarded as prey and were expelled and plundered by the human armies of several kingdoms.

Due to language barriers, backward development, and tribal conflicts, the orc groups did not form a country.

As a result, these orcs have been hunted as wild beasts by humans who have mastered technology and magic thousands of years ago. Their homes have been occupied, their property has been taken away, and their people have been sold into slavery.

The orcs' fangs, claws, stone knives and spears could not defeat the human knights and mages. Not only were they retreating northward, but a large number of tribesmen were captured and turned into slaves.

During the long-term killing and trading, a new group of orcs, whose form is more similar to humans, also emerged.

However, whether they are humans or orcs, in the eyes of the human race, they are all barbaric and weak-minded low-level creatures, with no value in existence except as slaves and playthings.

Whether it is Herod in the south of the continent, Itlan in the northwest, or Skava in the east, the three major kingdoms all regard enslaving the orcs as their basic national policy, regardless of their own circumstances.

Now, except for a large number of place names in the three kingdoms that still retain a strong flavor of orc culture, there are no native orcs to be found.

The orc tribes that once spread all over the north were artificially divided into two types: the barbarian orcs who were expelled further north, and the southern orcs who were integrated into the human kingdom.

In order to regain the land of their ancestors, the barbarian orcs never stopped fighting against the human kingdom even though they were in a bitter cold land.

Many Southern Orcs who long to return to their homeland continue to rebel in the human country or flee north even though they are far away from their homeland.

Thirty-three years ago, due to the cross-sea invasion of demons, the human country suffered a major blow.

In order to replenish their troops, various countries made exceptions and allowed orcs to join the army in exchange for freedom.

The orcs, armed with heavy iron armor, relied on their bravery to cause huge losses to the demons in the war, and also suffered heavy casualties themselves.

However, after the armistice between the Demon King and the mainland kingdoms, the major kingdoms not only failed to fulfill their promises and granted freedom to the bloody warriors of the Orcs, but instead allowed these battle-hardened armies to head north.

The new target is the tribal alliance established by the barbarian orcs on the northern plateau.

In the eyes of the rulers of the major kingdoms, the orcs are cheap consumables, and their status is roughly equivalent to that of low-level skeletons among the demons. Fighting to the death is their best destination.

As a result, as the southern orcs moved northward, no real orcs could be seen on the land occupied by the demons.

Therefore, when Lord Vincent saw an orc appearing among the players, he would inevitably be surprised and curious.

Shouldn't these people all be fighting in the North?

As far as Vincent knows, the human nobles do not hate all orcs, and some of them do have an unusual interest in half-orc women.

These Furui lovers regard petite and cute beast girls as collections to satisfy their ulterior fetishes.

In the past, during wars, many such people were captured by the demon army.

The miserable situation of those collections being tortured made the demon clan so amazed that many demon clan nobles planned to become apprentices to learn the art.

However, the half-orc in front of him has nothing to do with the petite and cute cat-eared girl.

Judging by his appearance, he should be a half-orc with Snow Leopard blood...

In addition to a pair of oval-shaped ears on his head and a thick furry tail on his back, this guy is basically a feline muscle brother!

The sun at noon was shining on the earth, and the temperature was the highest of the day. The demons hid under the shadows and awnings.

However, the half-orc competitor taking part in the competition took off his upper body clothes, revealing an inverted triangle body that in Vincent's opinion was comparable to a classical bodybuilding athlete.

Then, regardless of the surprised looks of the audience, he performed a set of movements similar to those of a bodybuilder, fully displaying all the muscles in his body.

In these seemingly inexplicable movements, Vincent faintly noticed that there seemed to be an indescribable power in his body.

It's not the energy generated by a simple warm-up, nor the magic that increases attributes, nor the exchange caused by the sacrifice of demons.

"Lich Sage, what is that orc doing?" Vincent asked the lich next to him who was also staring at the players closely, "What's the matter with the strange power on his body?"

"It is mentioned in ancient books that orcs can obtain the blessing power of their ancestors through prayer." The Lich pointed at the amazing body and said, "Look at the runes on his body. They are secret techniques passed down by the orcs since ancient times.

"

After a while, a layer of water vapor was rising all over the half-orc player's body, his muscles swelled even more, and his skin shone in the sun.

At this moment, people no longer pointed out or laughed at. Everyone was so shocked by this scene that they were speechless.

"Were all the orcs in the past so strong during the war?" Vincent frowned, "You can tell at a glance that this guy is not easy to deal with."

"The power should not be underestimated." The Lich leader nodded and said, "I can rival the Knight Commander of His Majesty's Death Army."

Can he fight against those headless monsters with infinite strength and magical powers?

After hearing this evaluation, Vincent became even more interested in the half-orc in front of him.

"Ordinary orcs don't have such runes on their bodies. The strongest runes are inherited from ancient families." The Lich continued, "His origins should be investigated."

"Not just for investigation, but if possible, he should be recruited." Vincent's eyes flashed with desire, "His name is Sadaka... Yes, I will give him good treatment and give him enough respect."

"Huh? His odds are not very high. He pays ten for one..." Vincent discovered his previous negligence, "Go and bet 200 more gold coins for me, and bet all on Sadaka to win the championship!"

Although he did not understand the lord's thoughts, the lich completed the task quickly.

When people saw the lord placing huge bets on the orcs, they were all deeply puzzled.

Before Vincent could get more detailed player information, the orc named Sadaka had already finished praying.

Sadaka first bent his arms and swung them back and forth in front of his chest, then jumped on his feet a few times, appearing to be quite at ease.

The referee sent the paper bird he made. It was an ordinary-looking work. Not only were the edges not neat, but its wingspan was larger than that of other contestants.

Judging from the rapidly improving production standards of today's urbanites, it can't even be considered a decent work.

This is still the best of the three paper birds. It is hard to imagine that he entered the finals with this level of production.

From Vincent's perspective, brute strength alone without excellent production is still not enough to win.

The work of orcs is indeed rough and casual, and the final result depends entirely on fate and luck.

Despite this, Vincent still calmed down and carefully observed the player's movements.

Next, the orc player's throwing action shocked even the demon prince.

I saw him lift one foot, support the whole body with the other foot, bring the hand holding the paper bird behind his back, raise the other hand to his chest, twist the whole body except the head, and use his broad back to

Aim forward.

Then, without warning, Sadaka suddenly glanced at the lord behind the stage.

Vincent confirmed that the gaze was aimed at him, and he saw a pair of tired and melancholy eyes, full of hope for help.

What's going on?

Before Vincent could react, Sadaka's raised foot suddenly landed on the ground. When his body dropped to almost level with the ground, the arm holding the paper bird swung out at a speed that was difficult to catch.

White light! Vincent, like the audience, only saw a white light speeding away from Sadaka's hand.

Sadaka's movements were so exaggerated and wild that when he stood up, several inches of dust flew up around his body.

Strange power spurted out, and he actually stirred up a tornado by rotating his body!

In the distance, no referee saw the paper bird landing!

"Where?"

Everyone forgot the distance and looked around, looking for the missing paper bird.

Unlike others, what Vincent wanted to complain about most at this time was another thing.

No wonder this action looks indescribably familiar...
