Chapter 60 Diya III1

Chapter 60 Dia III(1)

"How long are you going to keep this expression?" Viglic asked her.

It was just after dawn, the oak leaves in the King's Forest were swaying in the wind, and the breeze was blowing through Dia's long hair. The midsummer day was particularly cool in this northern morning.

"What expression?" Dia asked coldly without looking at her husband.

The attendants of each family led hunting dogs and began to prepare for today's activities before sunrise. They had already set up a large tent yesterday and built a temporary competition venue with wooden piles.

"That's the expression." Viglic sat on the seat next to Dia. He was wearing a black silk robe and a warm woolen cloak. "If you have something on your mind, you can tell me. There is no need.

Keep a straight face there."

Dia looked at her husband, with an impatient expression on his face.

"You don't want to hear it at all," Dia said.

"If this is about what I said in the living room, it was just to bluff people." Viglic explained, "No matter what, I will not divorce you."

Dia closed her eyes and shook her head. She wanted to cry now, but what was the use? She didn't want to win sympathy from others, and no one would sympathize with her.

She originally thought she could rely on her husband. Even if he didn't love her that much, he would at least protect his queen.

But she thought wrong. In the eyes of Viglic, she would never be as good as his wife Violet, who had been dead for more than 20 years. She was sure that her husband would not be there in Malta after her death.

Dekarin built a temple specifically for her and went to commemorate her every year.

"People are looking at us," Viglic sighed. "Even if it's just a show, don't let others see how frustrated you are."

In front of the competition arena, people began to gather slowly. "Dazzling One" Marius Jagoron was wearing a breastplate with the help of his handsome attendant. He had a calm expression and a smile, and was whispering something to his attendant.

.

Konrad "The Brutal Bear" Wilk stood in his own camp, sipping wine from a leather bottle, while his attendants put on leggings for him.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Dia agreed to him, because she knew that Viglic would not give up until she met his request.

Monty and Zhuo Ke also came to Viglic's side. Zhuo Ke was ready for the hunt, wearing a tight leather vest, and Monty was wearing a black silk coat and a red cloak as usual.

"Father, mother." The two greeted each other.

Dia focused on the wild bear's white beard and bald head, pretending not to hear them.

After going to the living room, Zhuo Ke didn't come to her to apologize. What made her even more sad was that Monty didn't even come to her to say anything. It seemed that he was on Zhuo Ke's side this time.

"Where is your brother?" Viglic asked the two brothers.

"He's right behind." Zhuo Ke replied.

As soon as he finished speaking, Allen, who was wearing a light blue gown with gold patterns, walked over slowly and sat on the left side of Monty.

This vast forest was once the favorite of his father Izdor. He would always take the family and his vassals out for hunting in the autumn, because it was the mating season of wild boars and they would be more aggressive.

Sex, Dad loved the challenge posed by these tusked, grunting guys.

He and Ludomir would corner a lone wild boar, provoke it, and then kill it with a single blow from their spears when it charged forward.

Dia, Leo, Rozalia and their mother Isabella were walking in the forest with the large hunting force under the protection of their entourage. Although she did not know how to hunt, she saw the happiness of others.

She was also happy.

"My dear sister."

Lozalia came, accompanied by Sigmund and other retainers, and sat down on her right.

The younger sister wore a dark silver velvet gown and a black wool cloak. She wore a golden lily crown studded with red, blue and green gems and pearls.

"Sister." A rare smile appeared on Dia's face, and she put her hand on Lozalia's left arm.

It's ridiculous to say that she wanted to find a sense of security in her sister. Obviously, as a sister, she should protect the young queen from harm.

Dia did not dare to ask her sister if she had already thought about the candidate for her husband. She no longer knew what kind of outcome she expected.

She didn't want Rozalia to marry Zhuo Ke, who killed Leo, but if she rejected Viglic, God knew what his husband would do.

"What's wrong, sister?" When Dia came back to her senses, her right hand was firmly grasping Rozalia's slender forearm.

"It's nothing," Dia quickly let go of her hand and took it back, "I'm worried about Duke Marius Jagolon."

Lozalia observed Dia with her sapphire-like eyes, and said with a hint of helplessness: "This is a challenge raised by himself. Since Duke Conrad Wilk agreed, I can't refuse."

Except for them who were facing the competition arena built with wooden stakes, crowds had already surrounded them at least three times on the other three sides.

Marius Jagoron had already put on his armor. The armor was painted gold, and the breastplate was engraved with wheat patterns, which shone brightly under the soft light of the early sun.

His silver-white helmet has a pointed beak like a bird's beak, with round holes for ventilation, and a thin slit for his eyes.

He took the long sword handed by his attendant. The sword was about five feet long and slender, with a golden handle on the cross-shaped hilt.

Konrad Wilk wore armor painted dark blue, with white horseshoes tattooed on his breastplate. He was a full circle larger than his opponent Marius Jagoron, and he wore

Wearing a black helmet, it is decorated with a white turban and horns.

What he held in his hand was a giant steel hammer with a wooden shaft, about six feet in length. The top and tail of the hammer were spiked.

"I like the weapon of the Duke of Crowfield City," Zhuo Ke said with some excitement. "Although the rapier has no blade, it can bypass the defense of the plate armor and attack the weakest point."

"You mean, Duke Marius has a chance of winning?" Monty asked Zhuo Ke.

"Hmm... not nothing." Zhuo Ke said hesitantly, "But Duke Konrad Wilk's war hammer can shatter armor with power, and it is longer than the rapier. Coupled with the difference in physique between the two, I don't think Ma

Lord Ryus Jagoron can win."

"Why is everyone so optimistic about that wild bear?" Monty said with some disappointment.

"But this guy is really arrogant," Zhuo Ke said, "Who would wear a helmet with such big horns to duel?"

"It was passed down from his ancestors," Sigmund Mirian introduced to Zhuo Ke. "The Wilk family once defeated the most ferocious tribe in the forest, and their leader had these two horns on his helmet.

.His ancestors took a fancy to the horns, so they brought the helmet and the human head back to Iron Crown City."

Dia pursed her lips, she couldn't appreciate this barbaric way, she just felt it was oozing.
