Chapter 83 Hadgar IV4

Chapter 83 Hadega IV(4)

Foy took Hadega into the village, and told the villagers who came up to ask about Hadega's identity that he was a distant relative of hers, and that he stopped by to visit their family on the way north from Madkarin.

They came to the horse farm surrounded by high wooden railings. The groom was training a black horse on the grass in the distance, while at least five horses were resting in their own closed stables under the nearby thatched stables.

Hadgar noticed at a glance a healthy and handsome brown horse, with a white mark between its eyebrows and on its nose that looked like the war paint of the Woodmen.

It looks like it should be seventeen hands high, and the muscles on its legs are strong but not tight. Its skin is smooth, and its black hair is beautiful, and it must feel good to touch.

The most important thing is its eyes. It has a pair of gentle and kind eyes. This is Hadjia's only chance. He doesn't want to find himself an unruly and fierce horse.

The long wooden house in the racecourse is a perfect cover, blocking the sight of all the villagers to the south.

Hadjia asked Foy to repeat the plan, and after confirming that it was correct, he slipped behind Mavrodi's wooden longhouse and waited for Foy to bring the groom's son.

He hid on the side of the corner, always observing the groom's every move in the racecourse through the wooden wall to make sure that he did not notice him.

Hadjia took out the knife hidden in the hood on his back and waited quietly for Foy and the groom's son.

His covert deployment didn't bring him any good results last time. The gods should let him get what he wanted this time, right?

"Foy, what do you want to tell me...do you have to change places?...I don't have a home..."

A boy's voice came from not far away. Hadjia held his breath and leaned against the wall, clenching the knife handle in his hand slightly.

"Oh, I asked you to come, just come." Fuy's voice came closer.

When the footsteps almost reached the corner, Hadjia slowly leaned forward.

The first moment he saw the boy's figure, he rushed forward, covered the boy's mouth, and fished him out with his left arm.

"Shut up, don't make any noise, or I'll cut your throat." Hadjia put the knife against the boy's neck, tapped his chin on his left shoulder and threatened in a low voice.

The boy's mouth was covered and he couldn't speak, he could only make a whimpering sound.

The groom's son was taller and stronger than him. Hadjia struggled to control him, and the wounds on his body were stretched so hard that there was a dull pain.

"Why didn't you tell me that the groom's son was so big?" Hadjia asked in a low voice.

"You didn't ask me!" Foy choked him back.

"never mind."

Hadjia ordered to the boy: "See that brown horse? Open its stall, put a saddle on it, and then watch us leave with your mouth closed. Do you understand?"

The groom's son responded with a "hmm".

Hadega slowly carried the boy towards the stable, while Foy was responsible for observing and reporting to him.

They walked to the stable without being noticed. Hadjia threatened the groom's son some more before taking away the knife from his neck.

"Open the stable, put on the saddle, and then keep quiet and don't think of any tricks." Hadjia warned him with a knife on the boy's back.

The groom's son nodded. He quietly opened the latch of the wooden stable door of the brown horse, picked up the red saddle on the wooden bench beside him, and walked slowly.

"Hurry up, don't dawdle." Hadjia urged.

Suddenly, the boy turned around and threw the saddle to him. Hadjia's knife only slightly scratched his back.

Hadgar dodged the saddle thrown at him, but was tackled by the boy, who dropped his knife.

The boy was heavy, and Hadjia had an old injury that had not yet healed. He was pinned to the ground and unable to move.

"Come on, someone! There are robbers! Horse thieves! Come on, someone!" The boy yelled, grabbing Hadjia's neck with his big hands.

What a damn little brat! Hadjia squeezed his neck hard to shrink back, and tried desperately to push the boy away with both hands.

But his arm was tortured by the black shadow and had lost much strength. There was a bone-piercing pain on the inside of his arm, and dark red blood seeped out from under the bandage.

"Do...do something!" Hadjia gritted his teeth and ordered to the panicked Foy, "Help...help me...!"

Foy was in a hurry. She pulled the boy's shoulders with both hands, but the latter elbowed him away. Her punches and kicks were as weak as a bad prostitute's flirtation.

"Knife, knife...!" Hadjia stretched out his right hand to reach for the knife on the ground, reminding Fuy to hand the knife to him.

Foy looked at the knife on Hadega's right hand, and then at Hadega and the groom's son. The panic on her face gradually turned into paranoia.

Foy grabbed the knife on the ground, "No one can stop me from finding Lord Shana!"

After saying that, the girl raised the knife and stabbed it into the boy's back.

But this is just a blunt iron knife used to cut bread, not Sombra's steel dagger.

Foy's stab failed to penetrate the boy's back, but she did hurt the boy this time, and he loosened his grip on Hadja's hands slightly.

Hadjia seized this momentary opportunity to pry the groom boy's hands away, and kneed him hard on the lifeblood.

The boy was kicked away by Hadjia, and he was rolling and howling while holding his lower body. He should not be able to get up for a while. This familiar scene cheered him up.

Foy helped him stand up, "Are you okay?"

"Horse, cough...! Horse!"

Hadjia was so anxious that he could hardly speak. In addition, he had been strangled by the boy just now, and his blocked throat made him cough hard several times.

The villagers and the groom must have rushed here after hearing the boy's cry for help. He needs to leave here immediately.

He picked up the saddle with both hands, ran to the stable door of the brown horse, slowed down, and carefully placed the red saddle on its back.

"Good girl, good girl..." He gently stroked the mare's back along the fur to keep her calm, and tied the leash under the horse's belly.

"What are you doing!" Foy stamped her feet anxiously, "They are coming soon, and you are still here whispering to the horse?"

"Shh!" Hadjia reminded Foy with wide eyes, "Before riding, you must let the horse know you, and you should touch it too!"

After hearing this, Foy had no choice but to stretch out her hands and imitate Hadega's touch.

"She can sense the emotions of the person riding her. Stay calm and you will be fine." Hadega put his right hand on Foy's left shoulder and said softly.

Originally, he wanted to abandon Foy after getting the horse, but she saved his life, and he could not leave her guilty of banditry to the angry villagers of Yalin Village.
