Chapter 6 Imperial Frontier: Imperial Space Station
Chapter 6 Empire Frontier: Empire Space Station
The apron of the space station was pitch black, and all the lighting, landing indicators, and even the display lights of the hatch door were all turned off, without any sound, only the silence that made the back of the chill.
Here is like the dark universe outside the light of the Emperor's Holy Star Torch. Everything is shrouded in a cold silence, and everything is floating in this dead silence.
But gradually, little light began to illuminate the dark world, from dark blue light to becoming a scorching beam of light shining like the sun.
The Thunder Eagle gunboat aircraft slowly moved into the apron from the take-off exit. The vector jet nozzle spewed flames, and all the darkness was lit by the flames. The jet nozzle gradually moved downward with the rumbling sound, slowly allowing the Thunder Eagle to land on the apron.
The gunboat's cabin door opened with a loud bang, a huge figure walked out, followed by the second one, four death watchmen Astart stepped out, all wearing helmets of their own battle group, but they were all painted black, and bright headlights shone out from them, instantly clearing the remaining night.
The monks Astartes, holding explosive bombs and melee weapons, surrounded by Thunder's deck, walked out of Nevito from the cabin. He wore a sealed helmet, and every step of the magnetic shoes drove fluorescent lightning.
The judge walked down the Thunder Eagle and looked around at everything. It was obvious that the gravity system and life maintenance system here had been broken or destroyed.
Vito nodded slightly to Ragna. The space wolf held a chainsaw axe and walked towards a half-closed inner entrance door. Ragna directly tore open the door, swung the door leaf behind him and floated behind him. He strode into the corridor, and looked around with blue eye glass.
"Everything is safe, brothers." said the communicator in his helmet, then took two more steps inside, and then the remaining visitors entered.
The Space Marines walked in the corridor, surrounded Vito in the middle, blocking all possible design positions like giant walls. Heavy steps were stepping on the dead corridor of the space station. Apart from the vibration of the iron boots, nothing left was left. It was as silent as if it had been abandoned for a long time.
Bell passed a sign with an announcement posted on it, "It looks like it's busy here, at least before we come."
"There are usually hundreds of crew members in this kind of space station. Even if it is attacked here, we should see at least one corpse." Lancelot said as he pushed away a broken tabletop in front of him. The broken fragments gently hit the wall, and then slowly floated towards other places.
"I agree with him, Vito, there is obviously a firefight here." Ragner said, turning his head and illuminating one wall with the headlight on it, with several bullet holes clearly on it.
Vito stopped, and the four Space Marines stopped, standing behind Vito and sideways, looking at the bullet holes in the wall with him.
"Solid shotgun, not explosives." Lancelot quickly concluded, while Olaf tilted his head and looked to the side of the corridor. "Someone is running and fighting here, maybe the guards are trying to fight back against the invaders?" "If so, then both sides of them will definitely not mind dying with the enemy."
Ragna's voice sounded at the other end, and everyone walked over with the sound. Before they could even walk in front of them, they could see the huge gap in the bulkhead. A large hole was torn through the corridor of the entire space station and directly exposed to the universe.
Vito squatted down and gently stroked the fragments on the bulkhead with his fingers, as he looked at the powder on his fingers.
"Rockets were shot in a hurry and very unwise manner. I guess many people died not by being sucked into the universe, but by being bombed."
"But we didn't see the corpse. Do you think the invader took the corpse away? Or did it intentionally?" Olaf said in surprise, "But what enemy would do this? The perverted bloody man of the Dark Spirit clan?"
"No, those perverts like living people, not corpses," said Ragner, slapped the bulkhead with his palms, "and we did not see traces of the spirits' weapons, their fancy things could easily leave traces."
"You're right, Ragna, not the elves." Vito stood up, but Olaf seemed confused. "I couldn't think of an enemy, Judge, and, again, what value is this space worth the invaders' trouble?"
"I don't know, but I think we can find the answer in the command tower." Vito said, leading the way to the dark corridor, and four Space Marines followed closely.
They found the command tower without much effort. All the space stations in the empire were made according to a template standard. Even if the external appearance was different, the internal structure was roughly the same. As long as you have been to a space station, you will probably have a number of the remaining ones.
Vito and the four Death Watchmen have been to many space stations, many of which are even more unpleasant. It takes a lot of time to move forward to shoot and chop people.
But it was much easier here. They came to the command tower smoothly, which was also empty, with a semi-arched giant glass wall on the front, the Empire Golden Eagle hanging on the dome, and under the tall dome were countless mechanical teaching instruments.
Like many places on this space station, there are traces of conflict everywhere. Vito walked to the position of the station manager, and there was a bullet hole on the back of the chair and a dry blood stain of a leather chair.
Not only that, almost the entire operating platform was destroyed. The perpetrators used guns and blunt weapons to brutally destroy the dial. Every instrument and every divination instrument were destroyed.
"Bell, check whether there are any surviving data. I guess these idiots don't understand the operating principle of machinery." Vito just said it, but in fact, Bell had already started doing that.
He cut a data terminal with the multi-function tool table on his arm, and after some exploration, he pulled out a black hard drive. "Obviously, these idiots thought that destroying mechanical dials could destroy these, and all heretics have the same virtue."
"Wow, don't let the mechanical teacher know, otherwise those guys will have an attack again." Ragner said with a smile, watching Bell plug the interface into the hard drive, the Extreme Warrior stood up and searched the data on it in his helmet.
"This space station detected an ominous sign a month ago. According to data, there are changes in the astral body beyond the unjudgmentable distance." "What kind of changes?"
Vito asked, Bell was silent for a moment and soon gave the answer, "Some constellations disappeared, or could no longer be observed. The technicians at the space station considered it a subspace storm and reported to the webmaster."
"Is there anything else?" "The webmaster agreed and asked the Star Speecher to send an alarm to the main star in the window period a few days later, and then the record was disconnected."
Vito frowned slightly, walked to the podium and looked down, each instrument was destroyed, "It seemed that the intruders tried to stop them from warning, and they succeeded."
"In addition to the request for help from the Star Words, perhaps because of the subspace storm, we received it." Lancelot said and rubbed the dashboard, but the thing did not react at all.
"Guys, I think you'll like this news." Bell said and walked towards everyone. "A shuttle from the space station has left the station. According to the final record, it should be after the fire exchange."
Olaf took a step forward, "meaning, this is a rebellion in the space station, the traitors massacred the entire space station, and then the traitors have now fled in a shuttle."
"But do they need to take the body away?" Lancelot asked, and Vito shook his head. "This question is not important for the time being, and we have no way to answer it."
"How should we find them?" Ragner asked immediately, obviously unable to wait. Bell was silent for a moment. "The data shows that the fuel of the shuttle is very limited, and it seems that most of the fuel has been taken away by an Imperial Navy ship passing by, and the remaining shuttles are short of fuel."
"Can you calculate where they are going?" Vito asked, and Bell's white helmet nodded slightly. "According to calculations, the largest fuel for the shuttle can be used by the fugitives to arrive at the nearest Empire planet, the Agricultural World Irving-4."
Vito walked to the huge floor-to-ceiling glass, looked at the distant stars and then activated the communicator, "Cole, we have discovered, set the coordinates and go to Irving-4."
Vito said, pausing, turning his head to look at the broken-out station chair, "Don't let anyone spot us."
Quickly use monthly tickets to summon the Emperor's Light, and the Star Torch will bring the monthly tickets to the edge of the empire
