143. Motive for farewell

Xiaobei's father.

The sound of taking off his shoes was heard. Just as Li An was thinking about how to speak, a pair of small hands gently landed on the back of his head, and then a burst of ecstasy spread from the top of his head to every pore in his body.

"Is it troublesome?"

Chen Xuan asked him in his ear.

"Xiaobei's father is a teacher at the Rongcheng Academy of Fine Arts."

Li An squinted his eyes and half-opened his mouth, as if the saliva would fall out at any time.

Chen Xuan's hand strength was just right, and he felt that he would fall asleep in two minutes.

"Do you want to ask Xiaobei's father to help you draw?"

Li An subconsciously moved the back of his head that had been operated on, "I want his father to recommend a student to me."

Finally he added

"Paid."

-

Probably because the head massage before going to bed had an effect, Li An slept well that night.

The next morning, before Chen Xuan opened her eyes, she heard the sound of eggs being fried coming from the kitchen.

A hearty breakfast of love starts a new day.

At 7:40, Li An sent Chen Xuan to the elevator and handed her a black handbag containing Chen Xuan's lunch: "Take a microwave and hit it at noon. Don't be lazy."

"I know," Chen Xuan took the bag and walked into the elevator, turned around and raised her fist and waved, "Come on!"

Li An, who had not yet taken off his skirt around the door, had his hands on his hips, looking like a husband: "Be careful on the road, I'll wait for you to come home."

Saying goodbye to the falling elevator, Li An turned around and found that 80,000 people had arrived at his feet without knowing when. The door five meters away was open with a small crack.

The amount of help.

I was careless and the door was not locked.

This is how most kittens get lost online.

Shaking his head, he bent down and picked up 80,000 people: "The little cats outside don't even have enough to eat."

"Meow-"

Starting from this week, Wednesday to Thursday morning will be Ang Lee’s regular vacation.

-

Li An practiced piano until 9:45 in the morning. Li An took the time to call Xiaobei's mother, and then easily got the call from Xiaobei's father.

Xiaobei's father's voice gave people a gentle feeling, and he spoke unhurriedly. After learning about Li An's needs, he quickly helped Li Anzhen choose a candidate.

"Teacher Li, is it convenient to leave your phone number with him, or let him add WeChat?"

No wonder Xiaobei is so polite. It seems that a lot of the credit goes to his father.

"It doesn't matter. Just leave my phone number with him. It's troublesome."

After hanging up the phone for about ten minutes, Li An's cell phone rang.

"Hello, are you Teacher Li An?"

Making a phone call is indeed easier than sending a message, especially since the other party has also learned the violin.

In just a few sentences, the two of them explained the problem clearly.

"Okay, okay, Teacher Li, I understand, let's add WeChat."

"Hmm, what do you call it?"

"Feng Donglai."

-

At noon, Ang Lee was immersed in the first movement of Farewell, when the mobile phone on the music stand lit up.

Two pieces of information.

Put your hand away and pick up the phone and click on the message.

A picture and a voice.

A sketch of the pattern of five musical notes on the picture?

Ang Lee wasn't sure how to describe it. He didn't understand art, but this was his ideal pattern.

Especially the set of clothes stays that are painted as a group of sixteenth notes. The four cute socks underneath really look like four sixteenth notes at first glance.

Lifelike.

Feng Donglai: Teacher Li, take a look.

Ang Lee: That’s what I mean/thumbs up

He thought that was the end of it, and was thinking about how much money to give, but the other party replied that the finished product would be sent to him before 8 p.m.

Ang Lee put down his cell phone in anticipation and once again devoted himself to the first movement of the Farewell Sonata.

-

Farewell is another major work by Beethoven after "Dawn" and "Passionate". It is not as large in size as the first two, but it has a full story in it.

As we all know, this E flat major sonata was a private work presented by Beethoven to his patron, Archduke Rudolf.

In April 1809, the Austro-French War broke out, and Napoleon invaded Vienna in May.

Archduke Rudolf was forced to flee Vienna with the Austrian royal family.

It was under such circumstances that Uncle Pei wrote this piano sonata to express his deep reluctance to part with his sponsor.

And personally titled the first movement "Farewell."

It is said that the original manuscript contains the words "On May 4, 1809, in Vienna, before my respected Duke Rudolf left."

After the war, when Archduke Rudolf returned to Vienna the following year, Pei gave the second and third movements meaningful titles, "Absence" and "Reunion."

It should be understood that Beethoven rarely had the habit of naming his works.

As for the naming of the three movements of the work "Farewell", let's not talk about the internal connections. Just from the words, we can see the story-telling connection between each movement.

Story is another means of dramatizing music, and modern performers should be familiar with the background of every majestic musical work.

As a French performer, Ang Lee didn't know what the other party thought of the background story of farewell when he raised this point of view.

But as a modern piano player, Ang Lee has reservations about this view.

Everyone doesn't like to hear stories, but that doesn't solve the fundamental problem of musical performance.

Even the personal fabrications of some unscrupulous scholars in China can mislead performers.

Who said that Uncle Pei's Pathetique Sonata expresses sad emotions?

When the first chord of the first movement appears, which is like an ancient call, the musical conception is like a giant breathing, which is enough to express the heroic spirit in it.

To do this, you must first at least master how to use the strength of your shoulders, elbows, and wrists.

This is the minimum.

No matter how good the story is, it can't help us push out a chord with great sound.

When playing the piano, you always have to return to the keyboard that can produce sound.

After all, Potian music is just the art of sound.

If I had to add a bit of humanistic color to it, it would be a work like Farewell, which is mainly about the discovery of the essence of the simplest musical elements and an exploration of the classical bar language.

The language is inseparable from rhythm and body, as well as all the implications of melody and harmony.

The three slightly sighing intervals at the beginning of the first movement may be the musical motives of "farewell", "absence" and "reunion".

From a musical perspective, this set of musical motives forms the backbone of the entire movement.

Ang Lee must search for these motives throughout the work, then link them, and finally connect the music as a whole.

It's a bit like a puzzle game.

A simple musical motive occurs at different levels of music, perhaps hidden in a melody line.

This requires a deep perception of music.

A player's perception of the depth of music depends on his imagination, since there are only small differences in the depth of the keys.

However, every well-trained player should be able to hear the difference in depth of touch.

After recasting 299 through some of Samir's finger training methods, Ang Lee clearly found that he had a better ability to distinguish the sounds produced by touching the keys.
