41. Chapter 41 Qi Xuan's thing

Back at the inn, Mo Yizhi stood outside the door of Sun Wu and Monkey's room and listened quietly to their even breathing, sometimes accompanied by snoring.

She shook her head helplessly. With such vigilance, she didn't even realize that someone had cut off her head in her sleep.

The next morning.

Mo Yiyi was wearing a simple blue gown, with a wooden hairpin holding his hair, simple and unpretentious.

Monkey and Sun Wu were eating breakfast together in the room. Monkey scratched his head and said, "I had a dream last night. I seemed to hear someone fighting and clanking."

Mo Yizhi held the steamed bun in his hand, picked up a chopstick and picked up some vegetables, glanced at the monkey and said nothing.

Sun Wu chewed the steamed buns loudly and listened to what the monkey said: "My mother said that dreaming is because you think too much during the day. How good is it like me, who sleeps until dawn and never dreams."

Mo Yizhi glanced at Sun Wu again and really didn't know what to say to him.

Comparatively speaking, the monkey at least heard the sound, and this person... really, as the monkey said, slept as soundly as a pig.

The monkey asked Mo Yizhi: "Brother, when are we going?"

Mo Yizhi put down his chopsticks: "Now."

Sun Wu said "Huh?" "I haven't finished eating yet, brother."

Mo Yizhi ignored it and looked at the box containing silver coins beside the bed: "You guys stay here and I'll come back."

"Brother, are you going by yourself?" the monkey asked.

Mo Yizhi nodded: "Well, you guys should keep an eye on the box here. I'll have someone pick it up when it's done."

"Brother, I will go with you. If they dare to take action, I can also help you." Sun Wu put down his chopsticks and stood up.

Mo Yizhi glanced at him: "Stop talking nonsense, stay here and watch."

If we really encounter a difficult situation, it would be more convenient for Mo Yizhi to act alone.

As soon as he finished speaking, Mo Yizhi turned around and left the room.

Monkey and Sun Wu looked at each other: "Brother, are you leaving now?"

Sun Wu nodded blankly: "Let's go."

Mo Yizhi left the room and went to the first floor of the inn. The proprietress was standing in front of the counter. When she saw Mo Yizhi, she smiled tenderly and said, "Brother, I'm going out."

Mo Yizhi smiled lightly and nodded.

The landlady looked at Mo Yizhi, then walked forward: "Brother, stop."

"Is something wrong?" Mo Yizhi looked at the landlady.

The landlady smiled coquettishly and asked, "Do you know Mr. Qi Xuan?"

Mo Yizhi was slightly surprised. Wasn't Qi Xuan the man who was hunted down last night but implicated her for no reason? She nodded immediately.

The landlady smiled again, and then took out a small item from her belt: "This is what Mr. Qi Xuan asked me to give to my brother when he left this morning."

Mo Yizhi took the small object from the old Bian Niang's hand and looked at it. It was a round object the size of a copper coin. It was not clear what material it was made of. It was completely black and cold to the touch. It felt like some kind of metal. One side was engraved with

There is a word "Qi" on it and a word "Xuan" engraved on the other side.

I think this object should be a name tag indicating Qi Xuan's identity.

The landlady smiled and said, "If there's nothing else, I won't bother you."

Mo Yizhi frowned slightly, wondering what Qi Xuan meant when he asked the landlady to give this thing to him: "Did he leave any words?"

The landlady thought for a while and shook her head: "I didn't leave a message. I just said that I would give this to a thin man with a sallow complexion and a face full of spots...that...looks a bit..."

Mo Yizhi knew what kind of character he was now, and there would be nothing good to say if he continued to listen to her, so he nodded and smiled: "Thank you, boss lady."
