4. Justify

Xue Die was shocked and her face was pale in an instant. She was found. However, how could anyone be here? She immediately knelt down and turned around and kowtowed, "I deserve to die for ten thousand times, and I deserve to die for ten thousand times."

"Raise your head." His tone was filled with an order that could not be denied.

Xuedie knelt nervously, her body trembling slightly. Who would be here? She slowly raised her head little by little. With the moonlight, she saw the visitor wearing gold-striped boots, and then tried the purple clothes.

Purple? She felt a little moved. Everyone knew that King Xia liked to wear purple clothes the most, so purple became the exclusive color of the king in the palace. After all, who dared to wear clothes of the same color as the king?

He appeared in the palace at midnight. Could it be that he was King Xia? Then wouldn’t she be dead?

"What are you rubbing? You haven't raised your head yet." The voice was impatient.

"Yes." She raised her head little by little, but she didn't dare to look directly at her nose. She looked vertically at the bridge of her nose, feeling an invisible pressure above her head, which scared her to breathe, and her body was shaking slightly uncontrollably.

"Is it that scary for a woman to become a king?" He suddenly reached out and raised her chin, forcing her to look at him, his tone was full of mockery.

The place where the eyes raised, a pair of deep and faint eyes, an evil handsome face, and the corners of the lips that looked slightly raised, further confirmed his thoughts. He should be the king, but why did the king come to such a desolate place in the middle of the night?

Qi Ye stared at her face that was a little panicked and extremely pale under the moonlight, and just sneered sarcastically, "I'm scared now, haven't you answered yet?"

The shocked Xuedie reacted and immediately kowtowed and bowed, "I will meet the king. I will die for death. Please forgive me."

She knelt there and kowtowed without listening. She didn't want to die, but she didn't expect to be caught by the king. Then wasn't she far from death? Her mind was blank and cold sweat flowed down from her forehead.

Seeing the cold sweat left on her forehead, Qi Ye's lips suddenly raised. The interesting little palace maid doesn't care about glory and wealth. She originally didn't care about why, but she was afraid of being like this.

"You haven't answered yet, are women who are kings that scary? You'd better give the king a reasonable explanation, otherwise..." He paused and did not continue.

Xue Die understood the potential threat, and there was more cold sweat on her face. She bit her lip. Anyway, she would die, so she could only give up.

"When you come back to the king, no, even the woman who can be the king, is a blessing that will be cultivated for several lifetimes."

"Is that true?" he asked indifferently, as if he could see through her lying.

"Yes." She felt cruel.

"Then why do you say it's terrible?" He just wanted to hear how she defended her? Are there really women in this world who don't want wealth?

"That's because..." Xue Die felt that her clothes were soaked in sweat. How should she answer? If she didn't answer well, her life would be lost.

Yes, it’s good to have many mistakes and flattery. Everyone wants to listen to good things, and the king will no exception.

"Why?" Qi Ye swept over the cold sweat dripping from her chin.

"Because the king is so great, you are God in my heart. God is not something that anyone can match. Those who can be with God are fairies. If ordinary people want to have inappropriate thoughts, it would be terrible, because she will never stand by God." She said the words from her mouth before she could think.

After the words came to an end, there was silence above her head. She lifted her heart tightly. If the king was not satisfied, with just one gesture, she would not see the sun tomorrow morning.
