Introducing the Acanthus pupil

(chu) Pu is a form of gambling that has been very popular since the Han Dynasty. The Ailanthus tree is named after the original dice (dice) were made of this wood.
It existed in the Han Dynasty, but the rules were more complicated. In the Wei and Jin Dynasties, they were simplified and more people played.
1. Gambling equipment ① horse: usually replaced by chess pieces.
②Scale: Checkerboard-shaped wooden board.
③Chips: wooden or bamboo strips, used to move chess pieces.
④ Toss: It is a dice. The dice are in the shape of an ellipsoid and there are five in total.
Three of them are the same, one side is black and the other side is white.
The other two coins are engraved with a cow pattern on the black surface, which is called "continuation", and the white surface is engraved with a chicken pattern, which is called "pheasant". So there are four colors of black, white, calf and child, and the five coins are thrown together.
, there are many permutations and combinations.
Second, the rules are generally four players.
Each person holds five knights (five chess pieces, each person's chess pieces are of different colors),
There is a "horse track" on the chessboard, and each horse starts from the starting point and walks on the "horse track" to the end point.
The horse track has a total of 120 squares, divided into three sections, each section has 40 squares, and there is a level in the middle of every 40 squares. After completing these 120 squares, the horse has completed the task. Whoever completes the five first
The horse wins.
So, what to do? Roll the dice.
General rules:
Five dice are thrown together (sometimes shaken in a bamboo tube). According to different colors, there are the following combinations: 1: black black black calf (Lucai), the number of arrows is 16, and you can move 16 squares on the chessboard;
Combination 2: Black Black Pheasant (Pheasant Picking), vector number 14, can move 14 squares on the chessboard:
Combination 3: Baibai Baidudu (Ducai), the number of vectors is 10, and you can move 10 squares on the chessboard;
Combination 4: White White Pheasant (Bai Cai), the number of vectors is 8, and you can move 8 squares on the chessboard;
The above four combinations are called "Guicai" or "Wang Cai"
Combination 5: White Pheasant Calf (mined), vector number 12, can move 12 squares on the chessboard;
Combination 6: Black Black Pheasant Calf (Secai), vector number 11, can move 11 squares on the chessboard;
Combination 7:—
Without introducing the various combinations one by one, these are called "zaicai" or "base cai".
At the beginning, each player's horse is placed at the starting point and they take turns rolling the dice.
The horse can only move if it's Guicai, but it can't move unless it's Guicai.
When walking the horse path, move the corresponding number of squares on the chessboard according to the number of vectors.
You can eat other players' horses. This is called "horse attack". You can win money. The eaten horse returns to the starting point.
Your own horses can be stacked up and walked together.
There is a level every 40 squares. When the level is approaching, the onlookers can bet with the player whether his horse will fall into the level.
After falling in, you can only come out if you throw the guicai. It doesn't mean that the guicai can't move.
If you finish all five horses at the end, you will be the winner.
It's a bit similar to Ludo, right?
3. Gambling allusions 1. Liu Yu, Liu Yi. In history, Liu Yu, Liu Yi and others gathered in Dongfu to gamble.
An additional word here: Later, some people felt that it took too long to bring the chessboard, so they simply threw the size of the chessboard. This is likely to be the case in the game described below. A queen gathered in Dongfu and threw a lot of money, and one judgment was worth millions.
The rest of them returned with Heidu, but Liu Yu and Yi were behind.
The first time he threw a pheasant, he was very happy. He circled the bed in his clothes and called to sit with him, saying: "If you can't do it, it doesn't matter."
Yu Wuzhi, because he had been holding Wumu for a long time, said: "Brother, please give me an answer."
Now the four sons are all black, and one of the sons is undecided in his turn. Yu yells at him sharply, and he becomes Lu Yan.
Yiyi was extremely unhappy, but he was plain black and his face was as iron-colored, so he said harmoniously, "I also know that you can't take advantage of this!"
Damn it! I can't believe this is a history book that describes a gamble so vividly.
A group of people who have records in history books played this game. When it was Liu Yi's turn, he threw "Zhi Cai", which is the combination of "Black Black Pheasant", with 14 points. Gui Cai was second, and only "Lu Cai" could do it.
voltage stabilization.
So Liu Yi was overjoyed and noticed that there are details describing "sailing around the bed" and "called sitting together".
That is to say, after Liu Yi threw 14 points, he carried his robe, went around the bed to celebrate, and even picked his seatmate, saying that if you can't throw Lu Cai today, you will be screwed.
When Liu Yu faced the provocation, he said "evil", then he grabbed the five dice in his hand, rubbed them for a long time, and said, "Brother, I will answer you."
Shit! There are detailed descriptions here again, like movie shots.
"Now that the four sons are all black, and one of them is undecided, Yu shouts at him sharply, and he becomes Lu Yan."
If Liu Yu wants to throw Lu Cai, all five of his sons must be black, that is, "black black black calf"
All four dice are black, and the last one is spinning.
Liu Yu shouted: "Lu!"
"That's it, Lu Yan."
Liu Yi's "face is as white as iron".
Comment: This section is really dramatic, just like filming a movie.
2. Yuan Dandan, the god of gambling in the Japanese comic style, was named Yandao. He was rarely talented and unruly, and was known as a scholar.
When Huan Wen was young, he traveled among his disciples. He had exhausted all his assets and was still struggling to make progress. He was thinking of a way to revive himself, but he didn't know where to go. He wanted to seek help but was stuck in difficulties. I tried to tell him.
There was nothing difficult about the delay, so he changed his clothes and wore a cloth hat, and followed Wen to play with the creditor.
Dansu had a stage name, and the debtor heard it but did not recognize it, so he said: "You should not be Yuan Yandao."
Then the game was decided, one hundred thousand was thrown, and it turned out to be one million.
Dan Tou's horse screamed loudly, his cloth hat was thrown to the ground, and he said, "Do you know Yuan Yandao?"
To put it simply, Huan Wen loved gambling when he was young, lost all his family property, and still owed a lot of debt.
So he asked Yuan Dan to help him win it back.
Yuan Dan was in mourning, so she took off her mourning clothes and went directly to the casino with him.
The creditor looked down on Yuan Dan, a relatively new young man, and said that unless you were Yuan Yandao, you would not be able to beat me today, so he made a bet of one hundred thousand dollars.
The god of gambling Yuan Dan won a million dollars, threw away the dice, hit Huan Wen's creditor in the face, and said, "Do you know Yuan Yandao now?"
Comment: So damn passionate and inspiring!
3. Yuwentai and Emperor Wen of Zhou once held a banquet with the public in Tongzhou. Thousands of pieces of brocade and miscellaneous silk were produced, and he ordered the people to take all the things they had taken. Emperor Wen of Zhou also untied the gold belts he had worn and ordered everyone to throw them around.
, said: "Whoever gets Lu first will take it." The public threw them all over, but no one got it.
This is a big gamble!
The winning number is: brocade + thousands of pieces of miscellaneous silk + Yuwentai trouser belt.
Chapter completed!
