Chapter 51 Sanjiang Remarks & will be released next Wednesday
In the middle of writing the code words, I suddenly have something I want to say, so I might as well express my thoughts in advance.
1. About the author.
Let's get straight to the point, it's not some great god's vest. This is my second book, and my first fantasy and stupid follow-up novel.
I wrote 400,000 words, and although my results were good, I had no choice but to stop due to physical problems. When I looked back, I had already finished reading, so I stopped writing indefinitely.
Then I conceived this historical article.
The author has been reading online articles for a long time. I forgot the year I read the first book. It was called Tianchen and I was so surprised when I opened a harem and took in girls.
After that, it was like Fighting Through the Sky. At that time, I was trembling all over while watching it. It was the first time I felt the charm of online writing.
I have read basically every popular novel in the future, and historical novels have been my favorite for a certain period of time, including New Song Dynasty, Zaizhi Tianxia, Lingao, etc.
So much so that when I was in college, I once had the idea of writing a novel.
It's a pity that at that time, I was busy taking exams for transfer students, and later I was reviewing my grade points, so I couldn't write it after all.
In the past two years, my working life has increased. After the change, I have a lot of leisure time. I usually have nothing else to do except meetings.
The author is also a person who has a strong desire to express himself. I happened to talk to people about idiotic writing, and I dismissed it.
I wrote an introductory starting point that night.
It was a little impulsive, but it also opened the door.
When the last book was discontinued, I was still hospitalized, so I just thought about writing something I like in the next book, even if it doesn't have any gimmicks.
Then I wrote this book.
I'm very happy that so many readers like it.
Second, about achievements and gratitude.
I never expected that this book would have such success.
After all, I haven't made a few internal shots, so there are no gimmicks.
If you read my first single chapter, you will know that when I tried to join the library, two recommendations increased the number of favorites by 100. After four rounds of recommendations, the number of draws in each round was only half of the average.
Fortunately, smart push came later, and it began to accurately push readers who like this type of article to me, and the data gradually improved.
During the fourth round of recommendations, the editor said there was an opportunity to recommend it, but I never put it on the shelves.
Then we waited until this week and finally went to Sanjiang.
This is thanks to all my friends who have followed the new book issue.
Seedlings are also following it, it’s really hard on you (laughs).
Three, about the plot.
First let’s talk about the character design. There are still many people who don’t agree with it or question it.
What I want to point out here is that once I set the characters of historical figures myself, there is no room for discussion and it is impossible to change them midway.
If you don’t like it, don’t force yourself to watch it.
Then, about topics such as Is Gao Gong really so fierce? Is Zhang Juzheng really so selfless?
I have a very important creative concept:
From a communication perspective, characters with strong willpower will gain people's heartfelt recognition.
Even if the outward manifestation is stubbornness.
So we can see that Gao Gong is more powerful than in history, Zhang Juzheng is more like a perfect man than in history, and the male protagonist is always ten years old and still showing off.
They are all created based on this.
Key roles must have their own ideas, thoughts, motivations, and most importantly, an unshakable will.
As for whether these people were really like this in history? I don't care, because I write novels, and my first priority is to write exciting stories.
And, I hope they are this kind of characters, not just puppets who bow to them.
The next people to appear are also Hai Rui, Xu Jie, Li Zhi and so on.
No matter good or bad, even Xu Jie will have reasons to support his actions.
This may not be the historical figure himself, but at least it is the historical figure in my heart.
This volume is about the process of the male protagonist's participation in politics, and the next volume is roughly about the government cabinet, where the male protagonist is responsible for the reform of Rigon Ichi.
The process will be slower and the movements will be smaller, so the time span will be lengthened accordingly.
After all, Hai Rui's last memorial was enough for this volume.
4. About updates
To be honest, I kind of regret not dividing it into chapters.
Although it is one chapter per day, four thousand words is one chapter, and six thousand words is also one chapter.
Others have one chapter of 2,000 words, or two chapters a day.
There are no new books on the shelves during the same period, and they are basically all one chapter of 2,000 words. Those of you who have read a lot should know this.
So, I feel very aggrieved about this.
I can also split each chapter into 2,000 words, and then the chapters of the past few days can be split into three chapters, saying that I have updated it.
Unfortunately, there is no turning back. In the beginning, in order to complete the plot, I would write one plot point in each chapter and then publish it.
Whether it's four thousand or six thousand.
But I learned my lesson and the next book should have 2000 chapters.
As for after it is put on the shelves.
I wrote this book very slowly. I wrote a stupid article and updated it to more than 10,000 words a day after it was put on the shelf. There was no pressure at all.
I will revise this chapter three times, once it is written, for those who understand history, and for those who do not understand history, and then revise it before I publish it.
And I still need to work during the day.
Although people generally don't come into the office, this environment is relatively inconvenient for creation.
The coding time is also relatively short.
As for how much it will be updated after it goes on sale.
There will definitely be a little more work in the early stage, after all, there is a bit of manuscript storage.
But it’s really hard to say in the later stage, either two chapters of 3,000 words, or one big chapter of 5,000 to 6,000 words.
After all, it’s about making money. I also want to code a machine, like an eagle, to write 20,000 words a day, but unfortunately, I can’t do it, so I just put my hands on it.
If I want to push the word count, I can also do 14,000 words a day like the last stupid article, but inevitably the quality will drop.
I understand very well why my book can be published in Sanjiang and why it is loved by everyone.
Quality is king.
I won't lower the quality just to keep up with the word count, that would be suicide.
No matter how much you scold me for being slow, there's nothing I can do about it. Our manpower is sometimes exhausted, and we must respect objective laws.
I beg everyone to show mercy.
Five, about the group
Recently, a new friend asked about the readership.
I would like to apologize again. Due to force majeure, it is very troublesome for the author to set up a group, so I can only put it on hold for now.
Six, finally
At this level of Q&A, the author will hold a conference later to catch up and try his best to reply to everyone.
Chapter completed!
