Chapter 22 Partner Contract

The next day.

The sound of people walking outside the door awakened Brandon. He didn't care about anything else, and went out of the hotel to wash and walk outside the town.

Brandon arrived at Jason Druid's residence early, and wanted to tell Jason about his encounter with the dead in the forest, and suggested following Jason in the near future to avoid unnecessary dangers, but Jason was not in the cottage in the forest.

Brandon doesn't know what to do now. He left here and went to the county town or royal city to escape the war with the dead. However, the money needed to do so will not be a little bit. How can the Grant couple, the Aber family, and the Andrew family be placed? What's the point of running out by yourself?

Brandon had no choice but to go to Baron Rons' castle first, find the Baron's butler to collect the horses given by the mission, and choose a good horse and run faster!

Baron Rons Castle

Miss Bertina was the one who received Brandon.

Bertina probably didn't have a good rest last night, and her eyes were bloodshot, but after all, she was a level 3 priest, and these were nothing to her. When she saw Brandon, Bertina smiled sweetly: "Blanton, you are here!"

"Yes, Miss Beltina!" Brandon was a little nervous for some reason!

Perhaps seeing Brandon's nervousness, Bertina turned directly to the topic: "The housekeeper has told me the purpose of your coming. I have to say that the time for you to come is right! Come with me." After that, he turned around and walked out.

Castle stables.

Bertina pointed at a foal: "Branton, have you seen that horse? Have you ever thought of anything?"

"Little foal...you mean animal companion!" Brandon was a little surprised and observed the foal very seriously. Although he was a druid, he could not be sure how fast the horse ran, but there was no problem to see if it was healthy.

Bertina said softly: "Yes, I heard about your experience two days after you encountered the undead yesterday, and I think you will need it."

"It is true that if a horse is running for transportation, it can save a lot of effort." Brandon said with a wry smile, and then Brandon's voice became a little happy again: "Miss Bertina, are you saying that this foal can be given to me?"

"Yes, if you want it." Bertina gave a positive answer, and then added: "Of course you can want an adult war horse now."

"No, it's it! Although it's not carrying people yet, my feeling tells me it's it!" After saying that, Brandon walked up and touched the head of the foal. The foal's life energy was abundant and close to that of an ordinary adult pack horse, and it would not be bad!

The foal felt the natural aura on Brandon and did not resist, but became a little closer to Brandon.

"Yes, it's it!" Brandon affirmed his feelings at this moment: his animal companion should be it.

Brandon followed his inner feelings: "Can you give me some time? I'm going to sign a contract with it here!"

"Of course, there is plenty of time, so don't worry!" Bertina was very satisfied when she saw Brandon listening to her opinion.

When Brandon heard Bertina agree, he began to carve the magic circle on an open space in the yard.

Slowly, a circular magic circle appeared in the yard. The patterns of the magic circle were not complicated. After all, some druids could contract animals by relying on their own abilities. Of course, those who could succeed in doing so were all geniuses in the druids, but Brandon did not dare to think of himself like this, so he honestly used crystal to carve the magic circle.

As time goes by, the magic circle gradually takes shape.

Brandon looked at the magic circle and thought about it, but he still reluctantly took out several magic materials given by Jason from his backpack and put them on the magic circle to make the magic circle more perfect.

When the foal was pulled on the magic circle, Brandon planted a green crystal in the center of the magic circle, and the magic circle began to emit a green light curtain. As the light curtain appeared, Brandon put his right hand on the foal's head, constantly making comforting movements, and began to chant contract spells. The magic circle also began to gather natural energy, and the energy slowly rotated around Brandon and the foal from the beginning. When the natural energy reached a certain level in the magic circle, Brandon felt that there was a spiritual connection with the foal.

When the contract was established, Brandon felt a weak force transmitted from the foal to his body, and at the same time, a stream of energy was also transmitted to the foal's body.

In the spiritual world, Brandon could vaguely feel a sense of dependence, which should be the spirit of the little foal. Brandon happily hugged the foal's head.

The little foal suddenly seemed a little happy, arched Brandon with his head, then leaned his head on Brandon. Brandon gently stroked the foal's head and felt the horse's intimate behavior.

After a while, Brandon nodded happily at Bertina: "It's successful! Thank you, Miss Bertina!"

Bertina was also very happy for Brandon: "Congratulations! You should give it a name!"

"You are right, it should have its own name." Brandon stroked the colt's neck: "What do you want to call it? My friend, oh! I get it!"

"Pepper!" Brandon pointed at the foal: "Its name is Pepper!"

"Peak horse? A good name!" Bertina nodded in agreement, and also came over to touch Pegasus' head. "Okay, Brandon, let Pegasus run in the garden first. If there is a groom, it will be fine. I have other things to tell you."

Brandon understood that it was for the undead, and his current territory needed combat power. Although his level 1 druid was nothing, he was a student of Jason, an elite level 8 druid. Then he patted the foal's head reluctantly: "Okay, Pegasus, you can go around the yard by yourself!"

Keep up with Bertina's footsteps.

Bertina didn't say anything, but asked Brandon directly about her thoughts: "Branton, have you... ever thought about how to face this war with the undead next?"

Brandon seemed helpless to Beltina, who gave the horse first and then talked about the matter: "I went to see Teacher Jason in the morning and wanted to ask for his opinion, but unfortunately he must have been out for many days."

Brandon said this, turned his head and looked at Bertina, and found that she was still waiting for him to continue answering, and couldn't help but scratch his head: "I say this, maybe you don't believe it, Miss Bertina, I never thought that I would go through war at this time. Even if the horn of war between us and the undead has sounded in my ears, I still feel that it is unreal."

"I know your performance in this mission, you are not cowardly! You are just not ready to face this war. Brandon, have you ever thought about it? Now we are going to encounter the undead, the enemies of all life in this plane. Apart from destroying them, or turning them into dead lands and then being destroyed by humans, there is no other way to speak of, and it has been like this for tens of thousands of years."
