Chapter 311 Qianhu and God

The purpose of Ji Que's trip was mainly to let Ling Qianhu learn his karma and clarify his doubts about how to become stronger quickly.

So Ling Qianhu told him a story.

There are many ghosts and legends in Shu, and he is deeply involved in the story.

That year, Ling Qianhu was still very young, almost as young as Ji Que, but he felt even more lonely.

Because he has no rivals among his peers, and he is still single. Unlike Ji Que, who has a female hotshot, a beautiful female classmate, and is raised by a cat-eared girl. He even has an unclear relationship with his sister-in-law.

relation.

So Ling Qianhu, who was feeling cold at high altitude, prepared to go around.

That year, he passed by the land of Bashu and heard that the Mengyu new tea in this land was delicious, so he went there happily.

"Unfortunately, there was a locust plague in Shu, and many people died, which naturally attracted a lot of evil spirits.

I killed evil spirits along the way and tried to bring food to distribute, but it was a drop in the bucket.

But when passing by a place called Buqingzhuang, I found that the people there had red faces, and some of them were actually quite fat while they were dying of hunger outside.

I felt weird at that time, so I entered that place.

It was a village built on a mountain, and it was quite exclusive. Maybe the owner of the village knew that I was good, so he finally received me in a rare way.

When entering Zhuangzi, I noticed a courtyard.

The exterior walls of that courtyard were piled with black stones, and there was a large locust tree. It looked very different from the nearby houses.

I asked about it, and the owner of the village mysteriously said that it was the place where the Son of God lived. The prosperity of the village was all due to the charity of the Son of God.

I felt very strange at the time, because as a practitioner I generally do not believe in gods and Buddhas, and I had never seen a real god before, so I wanted to meet this son of God.

The village owner said he could only tell us that whether we can see the Son of God depends on the Drowned God’s wishes.”

"The Drowned God?" Jing Yue asked confused.

Ling Qianhu nodded and said: "Yes, drowned Yan. This was the first time I heard the name of this god. I later found out that it was a wild god. Later I was rejected, saying that the drowned god didn't want to see me.

, and don’t want me to see the Son of God.”

"But how can I be such an obedient master? Before nightfall, I went to the courtyard.

When I got there, I discovered that the courtyard wall was actually higher than when I saw it in the morning, giving people the feeling of a cage.

When we stood in the yard, we could see the tall locust tree in the backyard, with its lush branches and leaves, like a huge umbrella.

An old woman saw me and found out that I had barged in. She couldn't help but became very angry and said that we had offended the Drowned God in this way. You see, the sacred tree was already crying.

I looked over and saw that there was indeed water dripping from the tree.

I retorted on the spot: 'That's just a cicada peeing.'

But when I looked carefully, I felt my hair was numb at the time. It turned out that the tall locust tree was covered with dense cicadas. They didn't make any sound, they just lay on the leaves and kept dripping water drops.

The old woman wanted to chop me, but of course she was knocked unconscious by my punch.

After that, I pushed open a thick black door. I have to say that this door was very heavy for me who was in the four realms at that time.

Entering the backyard, I saw a scene that I still remember deeply."

Later, according to Ling Qianhu's description, she saw a woman hanging in the air by chains as thick as nine arms.

All nine chains stretched out from the tree, and they passed through her body, forming a sharp contrast with her thin body.

The strange thing is that she looks very weak and thin, but her face is extremely round, even a little fat.

After the woman saw him, her eyes did not change at all, as hollow as a body that had lost its soul.

At that time, Ling Qianhu had to be cautious.

Because people who can be trapped by such iron chains always remind him of some big monsters.

But there was nothing demonic about that woman.

Seeing that the woman didn't respond, Ling Qianhu went to the only room in the backyard.

In the entire wide backyard, except for a tall locust tree, a pond of half-open white lotus, and a woman with nine chains piercing her body, there was only one room left.

After entering the room, Ling Qianhu saw human legs and arms hanging inside.

The most terrifying thing is that those arms and human legs look almost the same, which is indescribably scary in the dark room.

He even saw an incense burner for worship in this room.

They are worshiping these hands and legs.

"kill me."

It was only then that Ling Qianhu heard the woman's voice.

After that, he began to communicate with the woman, and then he discovered that the woman was the legendary Son of God.

"I don't want to do anything to save the world's Son of God. Please kill me. I know you can kill me." The woman's eyes were still empty and she said in a voice that was almost begging.

"They tortured me every day, cutting off one of my arms and one of my legs, making me miserable. The more painful I was, the more cicadas on the tree would grow until they fell to the ground.

I want to die, but my chopped off arms and legs always grow back the next day."

Ling Qianhu saw the cicadas falling on the ground and found them full and fat.

It turns out that the people of Zhuangzi did not starve to death only by eating these cicadas.

For a woman whose body was pierced by nine chains, her chopped off arms and legs would strangely grow back the next day, and the cicadas on the big tree connected to her would grow densely because of her broken legs.

It was these cicadas that kept the people of Buqingzhuang fat and white in the famine-ridden Shu land.

This is almost a miracle.

Practitioners are good at killing, but even those with extremely advanced levels of cultivation will find it difficult to achieve this step.

But the price is that this woman suffers from broken arms and hands every day, day after day.

The woman said that she was a disciple of the Drowned God Temple ten miles away from the village. Three years ago, she suddenly had a strange dream. She dreamed that she was covered with cicadas, and the cicadas spit out water and almost drowned her.

After the locust plague occurred, she was lured here by her master, saying that she was allowed to practice here and help rescue those affected by the disaster. As a result...

Ling Qianhu had doubts at the time and said she would go to the Drowned God Temple to confirm the facts before deciding whether to help her.

Even at a young age, Ling Qianhu was quite bold at that time, very similar to Ji Que.

So he went to the Drowned God Temple.

Perhaps because of the famine, the Yanshen Temple had long been empty, leaving only a Taoist temple covered with dead leaves.

Ling Qianhu took a sip of tea and continued: "When I arrived at the Yanshen Temple, I found that it was empty. People had already left the building. Everything had been moved away. Only the statue in the main hall was still there.

It was obvious that no one had taken care of the place, and it was covered with cobwebs and dust, but the statue was quite clean, as if someone had been cleaning it regularly.

What frightened me the most at that time was that I discovered that the statue of the Drowned God was very similar to the woman in the yard, as if the statue suddenly came to life, turned into the woman, and came to the world."

"I thought what the woman said was true, so I returned to the village, only to find that all the people in the village had mutated."

"What happened?"

"Yes, they all looked like they had been drowned in water for a long time, their faces were ashen, and they bit people when they saw them. And when we rushed to the backyard, the woman was still looking at me with a pleading look on her face."

"And after that?"

"Then we saw that the villagers couldn't be saved, and they all turned into monsters that wanted to bite people. They might even spread like a plague. This woman was even pitiful, so I killed them all and set them all on fire."

"The woman told me before she died that only someone like me could kill her."

"Then what?" Ji Que asked.

"Then I became stronger."
