24. Chapter 24 The Little Prince
"You don't need it?" These books were of the same type as the ones she bought. Seeing that Mo Ying was not answering, Sheng Shaoan lowered his tone a bit, making him who was already difficult to get along with sound like he was unhappy because Mo Ying didn't appreciate it.
.
Mo Ying took it and thanked her, but her doubts were not dispelled. Sheng Shaoan gave her two books for no reason. What was he planning?
Sheng Shaoan's idea was very simple, he just wanted to repair their relationship. During the time when Mo Ying went out, he thought over and over again that the words he said yesterday were indeed a bit too much for a girl who is full of hope and yearning for life.
, that’s why he would do things like sending books as a sign of goodwill.
Unfortunately, Mo Ying was not really a submissive person. She pretended to be her usual self and became more wary of Sheng Shaoan.
They didn't go out to heat up the food. The two of them ate the food with only a little bit of residual heat, and the atmosphere was pretty good.
Sheng Shaoan glanced at the book in Mo Ying's hand out of the corner of his eye, thinking to himself that his overtures were so obvious that they should be able to make up for his little wife's psychological trauma.
After eating, Mo Ying obviously seemed to have something to say.
Sheng Shaoan didn't get up and leave immediately. He paused and waited for what Mo Ying would say next.
"I'm going to school tomorrow." Even though she had an extra marriage and a husband, life still went on. She was still studying and going to school.
Sheng Shaoan naturally had no reason to object, so he responded. After he finished responding, he felt that he was a bit cold, so he added, "If you need anything, just tell me."
Mo Ying, who thought the conversation would be over soon, glanced at Sheng Shao'an suspiciously, weighing in her mind whether to say 'got it' or 'thank you'.
In the end, Mo Ying chose the latter.
Obviously, Mo Ying made the right choice, because she saw Sheng Shaoan's expressionless face, which seemed to be filled with joy.
Mo Ying got up and cleaned up the mess at the table. What happened today? Is this the case for Yu Feichi and the same for Sheng Shaoan? Both of them are very strange, or is it actually she who is strange?
After cleaning up, Mo Ying looked at the book Sheng Shaoan gave her on the table and couldn't help but feel a little worried about her future. Yu Feichi also warned her that Sheng Shaoan was not easy to fool, at least compared to her
My parents are difficult to deal with.
Mo Ying took the book back to the room and put it together with the books she bought. She touched the legs of the books and felt a different touch from the new books she bought. Although these books were well maintained, it was still difficult to flip through them.
Unable to cover up the traces of past mistakes, she flipped through it and sure enough found a bookmark inside.
Mo Ying had no intention of reading these books, but turned around and went to the bed. There was an old book beside her pillow, which was "The Little Prince" that she liked. Although it was only a children's literature, it was
It was her favorite, so much so that she had to read it every day before going to bed for these years.
