Chapter 53: Feng Shui is Yin and Yang

I opened this book, and the content inside was really incredible. I knew that Feng Shui refers to the art of observing the land, which is a method of checking geography on the spot.

Methods and principles for selecting palaces, village sites, and cemetery construction. The original meaning is the science of choosing a suitable place.

In fact, the history of Feng Shui is quite long. In ancient times, Feng Shui was popular in the Chinese cultural circle and was a very important factor in clothing, food, housing and transportation. Many documents related to Feng Shui have been preserved. But modern people simply did not learn from those books.

There are so many things, because not many people believe this groundless statement now.

We know that in ancient times, Feng Shui was mostly used for site selection of towns and villages, as well as palace construction, and later developed to find burial terrain. Why did people believe in Feng Shui so much at that time? Is it because they were too superstitious, or did they know the true meaning of Feng Shui?

We really don't know much about this yet, but in today's science, those are just superstitions, but I think this statement is really too one-sided.

I am currently reading a book called "The Burial Book", and I saw a passage in it. I was really surprised, because I really didn't know that there would be so many taboos on these things. It is

It says like this: "Those who are buried take advantage of the Qi. The Qi will be dispersed by the wind and stopped by the boundary water. The ancients gathered it to keep it from dispersing and moved it to stop it, so it is called Feng Shui." Mr. Fan Yibin, a man from the Qing Dynasty, commented.

: "If there is no water, the wind will blow up and scatter. If there is water, the air will stop and the wind will disappear. Therefore, the two words Feng Shui are the most important in earth science. Among them, the place with water is the best, and the place where the wind is hidden is the second."

That is to say, Feng Shui is an ancient art related to vitality. Its purpose is to find auspicious places for funerals. Many people today still have this phenomenon, that is, many people will look for a good place for their ancestors.

The cemetery is a place that is 'lively enough'. To find this 'lively' place, you must be a Feng Shui master. So we know that a Feng Shui master is someone who can find a good Feng Shui place.

There are also some books on Feng Shui that think this way: "The phenomenon of Feng Shui is a physical phenomenon, the principle of the attraction of yin and yang, and it exists objectively. The reasons can be explained reasonably using physical knowledge." There are still many explanations for this.

Many people accept it, but not many people know about the yin and yang, because we are really not very good at it.

In ancient times, Feng Shui was really very influential, because Feng Shui is based on the principles of yin and yang, five elements, Tai Chi, Bagua, etc., cooperating with each other and interfering with each other. But if we want to understand Feng Shui, we must understand Yin and Yang, the five elements, and Tai Chi.

, Bagua, etc. In fact, Yin and Yang, Five Elements, Tai Chi, Bagua, etc. are the basis of Feng Shui. However, it is impossible for us to fully understand them, because they are too difficult to understand. From ancient times to the present, there has not been one

can accomplish this huge achievement.

In fact, in ancient times, Feng Shui was associated with folk alchemy, and was related to the five fortune-telling, divination, and fortune-telling. It is also said that the basic composition is derived from the hexagrams of the "Book of Changes", which are divided into Yangzhai fortune-telling and fortune-telling.

Folk beliefs such as reading fortune tellers in the underworld are now called metaphysical mathematics. That’s why there were so many fortune tellers in ancient times, because they appeared along with people’s beliefs.

I learned a lot about Feng Shui from these books. I was very unfamiliar with the things mentioned in them because I was not very interested in those things. But now I am interested in fantasy things.

I am interested. This is not to say that I no longer believe in science. I just have no reason not to believe in metaphysics.

But after I read those things, I know a lot about Feng Shui. It’s like I know that Feng Shui theory regards the environment as an overall system. This system is human-centered and includes everything in the world. Every overall system in the environment is

Elements that are interconnected, mutually restrictive, interdependent, mutually opposed, and mutually transforming. The function of Feng Shui is to grasp the relationship between subsystems at a macro level, optimize the structure, and seek the best combination.

Feng Shui means being surrounded by mountains and rivers, and being surrounded by mountains and rivers is one of the most basic principles of Feng Shui. Mountains are the skeleton of the earth, and waters are the source of vitality for all things. Without water, people cannot survive.

In terms of mountains, we can divide them into two types, that is to say, there are two types of situations based on mountains. One type is the "earth house", which is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with a vast space in the middle, open to the south, and the house is hidden among thousands of trees.

, Zhang Guying Village, Weidong Township, Yueyang County, Hunan Province is located in such a terrain. The remnants of the 500-mile Mufu Mountain stretch here, with three large peaks protruding in the northeast and west, like three petals forming a lotus. During the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Guying

After settling here for 500 years, more than 600 households have grown into a prosperous clan with more than 3,000 people. More than 800 houses in the village work together. Men, women, old and young live in an orderly manner and live a peaceful and peaceful life.

We all know that the quality of water is closely related to the quality of soil, so we can know the quality of water based on the quality of soil. Because most places with good soil will have good water.

Our current Feng Shui also likes to sit north and face south. There is a certain rationale for their choice, because sitting north and facing south is not only for lighting, but also to avoid the north wind. There is also a saying about this in ancient times, which is from "Earth Science"

"Zhidei" says this: "Pingyang is not afraid of wind, but there is a difference between yin and yang. The wind that is received by it is towards the east and south. If it is warm, it is called Yang wind, so there is no problem. The wind that is received by it is towards the west and north.

Cool wind, cold wind, so-called overcast wind, should be blocked by a nearby case, otherwise the wind will chill the bones."

The book I'm reading now, "Ten Books on the House of Xun", is also very good, especially what it says in it: "The place where people live should be dominated by the earth, mountains and rivers. Their sources are the most powerful and have the most important bearing on people's misfortunes and blessings."

Although I don’t understand what this means, I think the explanation is this: Feng Shui attaches great importance to mountainous terrain. The shape of dragon veins is different from potential. A thousand feet is a potential, a hundred feet is a shape, and a potential is a distant view.

Form is a close-up view. Potential is the admiration of form, and form is the accumulation of potential. When there is potential, there is form, and when there is form, we know the potential. The potential lives outside, and the form lives inside. The potential is like a city wall, and the shape is like a tower or a door. The potential is

The undulating peaks are in the shape of a single mountain top. It is only accurate to recognize the momentum, but it is easy to observe the shape. The momentum is like a coming dragon, like a horse galloping, like a wave of water. You want it to be big and strong, different and specific, and move smoothly.

The shape should be thick, accumulated, and capable of storing energy.

Feng Shui from ancient times to the present can be summarized in seven aspects, which are: "overall system, close to mountains and rivers, water quality analysis, sit north and south, observe the situation, stay in the middle, and take advantage of the vitality."

After I read the book on Feng Shui in metaphysics, I knew that Feng Shui actually refers to the effect produced by the interaction of Yin and Yang Qi. Therefore, this Yin and Yang Qi is the most important thing in Feng Shui. Although I don’t understand it very well.

What kind of existence is this kind of yin and yang energy, but I know that it has a certain connection with the special atmosphere I can see.

"It turns out that Feng Shui is just like this. I am now a Feng Shui master, hehe..." I chuckled in my heart. Because I think I can see that the two qi of Yin and Yang can be used as Feng Shui.

But the knowledge of Feng Shui is not so simple. Xiaotian actually only knows the superficial knowledge of Feng Shui.

Xiaotian was quite satisfied with today's discovery, because he thought he had learned enough. I didn't know there was an old man standing behind me, and I didn't know he existed until he spoke.

.

"Young man, do you also like these books?" The old man called me from behind, his tone was very peaceful.

I really jumped down, looked back, and found a kind old man, and said: "Yes! I am still very interested in these books, but I don't quite understand what the books say.

I really don’t understand those ancient sayings.”

"Haha... It's normal that you don't understand. After all, you are very young now and you don't know much about ancient proverbs." He said to me with a smile.

"Old man, are you a Feng Shui master?" I felt a mysterious aura on this old man's body, but the aura from his body was obviously not that of a cultivator.

"Oh! Young man, why do you ask that?" The old man seemed to be interested in Xiaotian's words, and looked at Xiaotian with a strange look, but that look soon turned into surprise.

"What's wrong, old man?" Xiaotian saw his surprised expression and asked. Xiaotian really didn't know that the old man's eyes would change so quickly, so she asked him doubtfully all the way.

"Uh! It's nothing, nothing. You will definitely become a master in the future, but I hope you don't lose your nature and heart." The old man said this.

The innocent monk Zhang Er was scratching his head because he didn't understand what the old man meant or why he said it.

Seeing the confusion on Xiaotian's face, he said: "Young man, I don't mean anything. You don't have to think too much. I just hope that you can do things according to your own heart in the future. Haha..." the old man said with a smile.

But Xiaotian knew that the old man must know something, but Xiaotian didn't say anything else because he knew that the old man wouldn't tell. So they read together, but it was Xiaotian who asked the old man for advice. Because Xiaotian didn't know anything about it.
