The story behind this work, episode 2, the origin of the names of the 5 protagonists

Hello, everyone! This is Sou Mengmi, an amateur novelist who loves drinking black tea.
Friday is coming soon, and it’s time to update this series!
A lot of things happened this week. In this week, the second volume of the "Lunde Kingdom Rescue Battle Chapter" ended and the "Hot Springs Travel Chapter" began.
"Rescue War in the Kingdom of Lund", I think it is a very well-written and highly completed chapter! I am very satisfied with this chapter, and the results achieved by this chapter also exceed my expectations.
Imagine.
In this chapter, especially at the climax of the Weihe Annihilation War later, without any recommendation or exposure, the collection can actually increase by a few dollars a day.
Before the VIP roll started, I only had a collection of 136. By the end of "Lunde Kingdom Rescue Battle", my collection had increased to about 170.
At the same time, in this chapter, my average booking is also increasing every day, from the first booking of 17, to an average booking of 27.
With only one "popular category" recommendation and only 170 collections, having an average subscription of 27 is already a very good result. Many have hundreds or thousands of collections and have a handful of people recommending them before they are put on the shelves.
, the average scores are not as good as mine.
I am really grateful that "The Rescue War in the Kingdom of Lunde" has been welcomed by everyone! Thank you to all the readers who are willing to read this book and write it!
It's a pity that after "Hot Springs Travel", the number of subscribers has dropped a lot... So far, the average number of subscriptions for "Hot Springs Travel" is only around 17...
Don’t many people only want to watch war dramas and not daily dramas (crying)?
In fact, when I write daily plots, I don’t write them just for the purpose of maximizing the number of words or dragging out the plot.
Every daily plot is actually to pave the way for the next war, or to dig holes and set up foreshadowing.
So far, "Hot Spring Travel Chapter" has laid the groundwork for the large-scale attack on the Rollin Empire in the next volume.
At the same time, there are also foreshadowings such as "Su Cheng and Kai Luoer's emotional line" and "the Holy Hiran Empire trio".
So don’t skip this chapter. If you skip this chapter, you may be confused about the subsequent plot (seriously).
Also, let me give you a little spoiler at the end. The Xilan people who are soaking in the hot springs with Su Cheng and the others are important figures. In the later war against the Holy Xilan Empire, there will be a huge number of them.
Drama.
Okay, let’s stop chatting here! Let’s quickly start this week’s “Story Behind the Game”!
This week, I will tell you how the names of the protagonists came about!

There are five main characters in this book, namely Su Cheng, Alan, Deng Jiaer, Kai Luoer, and Alyssa.
So let’s follow the order of Alyssa, Kailuoer, Deng Jiaer, Alan, and Su Cheng, and tell us one by one how their names came about!
First up is Alyssa.
I didn't intend to write Alyssa as one of the heroines at first, so in my mind Alyssa was just a "picked-up daughter" at first, so I made up her name randomly.
, just open Baidu, and then search for "British girls' names", then casually slide your finger and click on the name "Alyssa", and then nothing happens.
Okay, the origin of Alyssa's name ends here, let's talk about Carol.
Carol's full name is Carol Cook.
The setting of Kailuoer is that she is a girl who is very good at cooking.
So I set Kyler's last name as "Cook", the homophone of "Cook" is "cook"
The name Kailuoer comes from a game.
I once played a text adventure game called "Guilty Kingdom: Lost Christmas". The heroine in it left a deep impression on me. I particularly like the heroine in this game.
The heroine of this game is named Carol.
Therefore, in order to commemorate her, I named this girl with a gentle personality and good cooking skills "Kaylor".
(ps: Carol is a homophony of the English carol. The Chinese translation of carol is "Christmas Carol". I have always thought that this name is particularly nice, and it also has a special meaning. People with the name carol, the Chinese translation is generally
It's "Carol" or "Carol". But I still think "Carol" sounds better.)
Then, there is Deng Jiaer.
In fact, the names of Deng Jiaer and Alan can be mentioned together.
The names of both of them actually come from a video series made by an up owner named "Young Magician" on station B.
This up owner named "Young Magician" once made a series of videos called "The Daily Life of the British Rulers" using the game "Kingdom 2".
This series of videos is extremely funny! It’s also extremely fun! Everyone should go watch it!
When watching this series of videos, there were two game characters in it, which left a deep impression on me.
These two game characters are:
Alan Wren, the "God of War" who single-handedly defended the Earl of Glamorgan and held off the Welsh army for a full year and a half.
And when he was 14 years old, he bit off his finger, drew a blood cross, and was the first to sign up for the Crusade. When he was middle-aged and old, he swept across Europe and was known as the first warrior in Britain and the "God of War".
O'Brien, Duke of Dungarva.
Both of them left a very deep impression on me.
Therefore, in order to pay tribute to this series of videos that brought me endless joy, I named Su Cheng's sister with extremely high martial arts value "Alan", and I named Su Cheng's future right-hand man "Deng"
Jar O'Brien".
In addition to their two names, I also named Deng Jiaer's hometown the "Duchy of North Munster" as part of my tribute.
(ps: Actually, although the name Alan sounds very feminine in Chinese, in the West, it is actually a boy’s name. When Alan is translated into English, it is Allen. When Allen is translated into Chinese, it can be translated into Allen and
Alan.)
(At first, I was hesitant to name Su Cheng's sister Alan, but then I thought about it. Anyway, if the name is pronounced in Chinese, it is so feminine, and it should not be included in my book.
I had the opportunity to translate it into English, so I made up my mind to name Su Cheng’s sister as Alan.)
Finally, there is Su Cheng.
The reason why I chose the male protagonist’s name as Su Cheng is for two reasons.
The main reason is that "Su Cheng" is homophonic to "book city". Su Cheng's character is that of a person who likes reading and has an extremely large amount of reading, which is like a mobile library.
As for the secondary reason... it is also related to a certain game.
About last year, I bought a domestic galgame "Three Colors Painted Love" on Steam. To be honest, this game has an average plot. There is nothing particularly outstanding. In my eyes, it is the only one that can be regarded as outstanding.
, it should be dubbing.
Although this game is not very good, I somehow like Mo Xiaoju, one of the heroines in it.
Because I particularly like this character, Aiwujiwuxia also has a good impression of this game.
In this game, the male protagonist who is liked by two girls is named "Qiu Cheng".
Coincidentally, according to the outline of my novel, the male protagonist of this book is also liked by two girls.
Since we are so predestined and have a good impression of this game, I named the male protagonist of this book "Cheng".
The above is the origin of the names of the five main characters.
Thank you to everyone who has read this! Congratulations on knowing more about this book!
That’s it for this week’s “The Story Behind the Work”! See you next week!
Next week, I plan to tell you about the character prototype of Su Cheng, the male protagonist of this game!
That’s right! Su Cheng has a character prototype!
Here’s a little preview: Su Cheng’s character prototype is a legendary general who has never lost a battle in the history of our country!
Su Cheng's early life trajectory was somewhat similar to that of this legendary general.
I wonder if everyone can guess who Su Cheng’s character is based on (laughs).
If you can't guess it and are really curious, please remember to watch the next episode of "The Story Behind the Story" on time!
This series will be updated on time in "Work Related" every Friday at 18:00! Interested friends, please remember to tune in on time!
Chapter completed!
