Chapter 1166 Past and Hope(1/3)

"So you, the unlucky guy, are the chosen punching bag?"
Hailab asked looking at Olongus in front of him who had been beaten so violently that his face was swollen to the point of being unrecognizable.
"What do you think? Otherwise, who would come to you and get beaten?
Don’t think I don’t know, that bastard Cassius is definitely capable of fighting with you! But he has no idea at all!”
Olongus took an egg he found from somewhere and kept rubbing it on his face.
"Has anyone ever told you that eggs used to reduce swelling need to be peeled and cooked?"
Hailab asked with a strange expression.
After Olongus heard these words, he lost control of his hand for a moment, and the egg of an unknown animal was crushed directly on his face!
The egg liquid hanging on that swollen face made Olongus look very funny.
"I have no idea."
Olongus seemed to be trying his best to make a painful expression.
He wiped his face haphazardly, and then wiped his hands on the ground to make them clean.
"So did Rasuk tell you that you better wash your hands after you do something stupid?"
Hailab had already turned his head when he said these words.
He was suppressing a smile, but he couldn't hold it in anymore.
What Orlongus did at this time was particularly funny, but Hailab couldn't tell for a while whether Orlongus deliberately made himself look like a clown making fun of others.
The way these guys express their feelings is often irresponsible and even funny.
"So go and persuade Bulcasso."
Olongus lay directly on the ground as if his bones had been taken away.
"Because you're just so stupid, it's hard for me to tell whether you're really stupid or you're doing it on purpose.
But you’ve already been beaten, and now it’s time for me to go and beat you up.”
Hailab said after letting out a long sigh.
“It doesn’t matter, there’s nothing more we can expect anyway.
You must not have imagined what I said to Koutul before, I was really shaken at that moment!"
What Olongus said did not sound like he was talking to Hylab in front of him, but more like he was communicating with himself.
"Who among us has not wavered?
Don't forget, we are all human beings, and we all have mortal hearts that the archangels worry about.
We have as much trouble as happiness, although a smile cannot represent happiness."
Hailab walked to the corner of his house and took down a huge stone from the wall.
This thing is not unusual at all, after all, most of the savage houses are made of stones like this.
Because the stones have been trimmed by them, most of them fit tightly when stacked.
But there is a big hole above this stone!
Inside the cave were neatly placed several jars that looked like they were made of stone.
"You're lucky, I just want a drink right now.
After I was summoned by Bulkesso using the obsession of the Holy Mountain, I immediately went to the huge pit left by the Holy Mountain of Arreat.
The place where I hid the wine was not on the Holy Mountain, so there are still a few bottles left.
Then I built this house for myself and hid all the wine I like."
Hailab talked about what he had done back then in a relaxed manner.
He smoothly pulled out a jar from the rocks and handed it directly to Hailab.
"We didn't like you very much, but we never thought you would hide wine on the wall of the house."
Olongus curled his lips, then broke off the seal of the jar and poured it into his mouth.
Then he sat up suddenly and looked at Hairab in front of him with an expression of disbelief.
"How scarce were supplies in the era when you were alive?"
Olongus swallowed the wine with some difficulty before asking Hailab.
"This is the first time I've tasted wine made from meat. Also! What kind of meat was used in yours?"
Olongus looked down at the impossibly transparent jar in his hand and asked in disbelief.
"Devil's flesh and blood, you did it Orlongus! You did it by eating the devil's flesh and blood!
How do you feel now that the adjective of hatred has truly become a reality?"
Hellab did not answer Olongus' previous question.
He just smiled and his eyes were calm!
“Is he so hungry that even the flesh and blood of demons has become food to satisfy his hunger?
It's really hard for me to imagine.
Didn't you hear the demons' curses before you killed them?"
Olongus's expression was very strange.
"Of course they are intelligent beings, there is no doubt about that.
But when they gnawed at Nephalem's body, it didn't seem that surprising to face such a result, right?
We need to keep fighting until there are no more demons in sight!"
Hailab was very determined, but his tone was so calm that it gave Olongus a hint of fear.
"Then this wine..."
"Don't worry, I confirmed it after killing this demon.
There is no nephalem in his body.
In other words, this demon is either on a hunger strike, or he has never eaten the nephalem."
Hailab made a little joke.
Of course the demons will not go on a hunger strike.
This demon might just be unlucky enough to bump into Hellab just after crawling out of the Burning Hell.
"The barbarians of the Tagus tribe are mad."
Olongus shook his head helplessly, then mustered up the courage to pour the wine in the jar into his mouth again.
"We are the most typical representatives of savage madness.
But barbarians from other tribes rarely seem to ask why we are the craziest.
If given a choice, who would be willing to associate with madness.
The reason why I was angry at Warusk's actions was simply because he once again did not give me the power to choose.
I can't stand this."
Hailab smiled.
Then he opened a can of wine and poured it into his mouth.
He didn't have any other reaction to this weird tasting wine, he was already used to it.
"I suspect that the contemptuous term "barbarian" means those guys happened to meet barbarians from the Tagus tribe."
Olongus complained.
Then he lay back on the ground.
After being surprised, he had no special reaction.
In the chaotic years, it has been very difficult for the Nephalem to continue until now.
To be continued...
