31. The creepy old woman

I looked at my watch, it was already half past two in the morning.www

Liu Weihao started his motor again, only to hear bursts of roaring sounds, and then stopped again.

"Damn it." Liu Weihao suddenly slapped the steering wheel.

It's really unlucky. His car is not an off-road vehicle, let alone a military jeep. The chassis of ordinary private cars is always much lower than that of jeeps. Halfway through, Liu Weihao regretted it. Such a bumpy road is not good for him.

It’s a toss-up for you, and it’s also a big test for your car.

However, this mountain road is narrow and there is no way to go back. Liu Weihao found a few forks in the road to turn, but he was confused by the mountain road that was wrapped like a python.[

Sure enough, I saw that I had already caught a glimpse of the faint light that could be seen in the dense forest not far away, and I was sure of winning. However, this old antique failed to live up to the expectations. It stopped firing during the final sprint and stopped on the side of the road.

Faced with a dilemma, Liu Weihao took out his cell phone and pressed it for a long time, only to see a black screen. Then he remembered that his cell phone had run out of battery since he hadn't gone back today, and he was in a hurry and didn't bring a reserve power supply, so his cell phone was instantly scrapped.

It was really raining all night when the house was leaking.

Thumb, thump, stirrup.

There was a sound knocking on the window. Liu Weihao looked in the direction of the sound source. The face of a woman in her fifties was pressed against the window. She looked at the car. Liu Weihao quickly rolled down the window.

"What's wrong," the woman asked, looked around the car and said with a smile, "It seems like you, a tough guy, won't leave. This is a snake road. The mountain road is narrow and rugged. Our village is right in front. How about you?"

Come with me to the village and rest first."

Liu Weihao looked at the woman's smiling face and shook his head in embarrassment, "Sister, I'm afraid it's not good to be like this. I have something urgent to do now. I want to go to Liujia Village. It's getting late now, so I can't delay."

The woman's face suddenly turned cold, and her vigilant eyes swept around Liu Weihao, "Why are you going to Liujia Village?"

"I am a police officer in the city. My surname is Liu. I mainly said that I came here to investigate some matters. Unexpectedly, I arrived late, and now the car is stuck on the road again." Liu Weihao said while pressing the accelerator, but the result was still in vain.

"Well," the woman murmured, looking up with a smile on her face, "Actually, I am from Liujia Village. Our village is not far from here. You can't leave now anyway, so why don't I take you with me?

Let’s go back to the village first.”

It doesn’t take much effort to find it even after you have worn out iron shoes and found nowhere!

When Liu Weihao heard this, he felt secretly happy. He didn't know if he could get to Liujia Village, and he was even half-familiar with the location of Liujia Village. Unexpectedly, a person from the village came out halfway and became a free guide.

"That's really troublesome." Liu Weihao put on his coat, got on his backpack, and got out of the car.

Only when I got off the car did I see clearly that the old woman was short and stooped, and the huge bamboo basket she was carrying on her back was tightly sealed. It was too dark to see what was in the gap, but it was surprisingly large and compressed.

The old woman's back was not straight, but she was holding a kerosene lamp in one hand, shaking it, and a cane in the other hand. She moved slowly under her feet and turned around, "Then you can follow

Let me come, it’s getting late.”

"Sister, why are you still out so late?" Liu Weihao followed the woman and asked abruptly.

"I went to make offerings to the snake god today, but I broke my leg on the way. The swelling just went away, so I came back a little late."

The old woman spoke carelessly, but every word seemed to be unemotional. However, there was an inexplicable feeling that made people feel uncomfortable all over. Suddenly, she turned around. The dim light of the kerosene lamp contrasted with an old face.
