530. Take Her Upstairs

, let him go.

Su Shijie stared at her and motioned for her to go upstairs first.

Chanel was very afraid that Su Shijie would lower the car window and let her mother on the balcony see her, so she turned back three times and signaled him to leave quickly with her eyes.

As soon as she turned around, she saw her mother actually coming downstairs to pick her up.

"Nair, why did you buy so many things? Are they heavy?" Her mother immediately shared the burden and helped her carry half of it.[

Only then did Chanel hear the sound of the car engine starting behind her. When Chanel turned around, she had already driven away.

She finally breathed a sigh of relief...

"Nair, who is that?" Mom looked at the car leaving and asked in confusion, "You have a boyfriend? Why don't you stay and have dinner together."

"No, it's my friend's boyfriend. My friend originally came to pick me up at the airport, but something happened... so he sent his boyfriend to take me home."

Her mother was doubtful and took her upstairs without saying anything.

"Let's eat dumplings tonight." Mom said, "They're all wrapped and just waiting to be put into the pot. Just wait, I'll cook them in a minute."

Everything in the house was still the same as before, even the cup for drinking water had not changed. Chanel scented her father, lying on the sofa, smelling the unique smell in the air, it felt like home.

"Mom..." she asked while sitting on the sofa, "you said on the phone that you wanted to tell me something. What was it?"

There was a sudden silence in the kitchen, and after a while, there was the sound of clinking pots and pans again.

Shanel shouted again, but her mother didn't seem to hear her?

Chanel got up and walked to the kitchen door. As soon as she entered, her mother kicked her out and told her not to move around and stay in the living room.

"Didn't you say you had something to tell me?"

Mom's face flashed: "I'll tell you later, I'll tell you later."

As soon as Chanel sat down on the sofa, she heard the sound of a porcelain bowl breaking from the kitchen.

As a result, during the entire dinner, not only did my mother not mention the incident, she was also completely distracted.

Whenever Chanel wanted to ask what was going on, she quickly changed the subject.

Chanel wondered, she had never seen her mother look so panicked.

After finally having dinner, Chanel helped her mother clear the dishes. She originally wanted to wash the dishes, but she was wearing too thick clothes and could not move very quickly, so her mother beat her to it.
