Chapter 383 Prajna Heart Sutra
There are obviously spiritual stone veins under this Shaosi Mountain. The closer to the back mountain, the more spiritual energy in the air becomes.
Kong Ji took Ye Wutian to a stone door deep in the back mountain, and the stone door opened spontaneously.
"Almsgiver Ye, please go in alone, I'm waiting here." Kong Ji stopped at the door and made an invitation gesture to Ye Wutian. Even the abbot had to stop in front of the door. This was enough to show that this man who was enduring hardships
The dignity of the status of a divine monk.
Ye Wutian nodded, and then walked towards the door.
After entering the door, there is a short passage. Inside the passage is a spacious stone room with exquisitely carved stone tables and chairs.
Just as Ye Wutian walked into the hall, a stone door on the rock wall on the right suddenly opened with a rumble.
Inside the stone gate is obviously a training room. There is a high platform in the room. On the high platform sits an old monk wearing a cassock with white eyebrows and white beard. He is the God of Suffering.
"Donor Ye, please come in." Du Ku invited him.
Ye Wutian walked straight into the stone room. After entering the stone room, Du Ku made a move and a stone chair flew in from outside the door and landed steadily behind Ye Wutian.
"Donor Ye, please take a seat."
"Thank you, holy monk." Ye Wutian thanked him without any disrespect, and then sat down.
Just as Ye Wutian sat down, the stone door behind him rumbled shut again.
"I wonder why the holy monk is looking for this junior?" Ye Wutian asked straight to the point.
"I heard from Kong Ji that donor Ye is a descendant of the Xuanyuan Medical School?" Du Ku asked.
"Yes, this junior is indeed a disciple of the Xuanyuan Medical Sect." Ye Wutian answered truthfully.
"Speaking of which, this temple has a deep connection with the noble sect. The ancestors of the noble sect once received Buddhist baptism in this temple and were freed from evil thoughts." Du Ku said calmly.
"Does the holy monk know the ancestors of our sect?" Ye Wutian asked curiously.
Du Ku shook his head and said: "When the ancestor of your noble sect was baptized in this temple, I was just about the same size as you, and the one who baptized him was my ancestor."
"So, that must have been a hundred years ago, right?"
"Absolutely." Du Ku nodded.
"Then why did the ancestors of our sect receive Buddhist baptism?" Ye Wutian asked doubtfully. Although he didn't know what this Buddhist baptism meant, from the literal meaning, it should be used on those who are evil and evil.
Etiquette.
"The Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon practiced by the Gui Sect is a set of exercises that lead to the ultimate good when you encounter good, and the ultimate evil when encountering evil. The so-called good and evil, benefiting others is good, benefiting yourself is evil. Good thoughts make you happy to help others, and change
Be enthusiastic, generous, and full of dedication; evil thoughts will make you tend to evil, greed, and evil, and you will be ruined. The ancestors of the noble sect came to this temple to receive Buddhist baptism precisely because they could not restrain the evil thoughts in their hearts." Du Ku explained.
"What the holy monk means is that my teaching of the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon will affect the mind of the cultivators?" Ye Wutian asked in surprise.
Du Ku nodded and replied: "Yes, practicing the Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic will improve the practitioner's character to a certain extent. Good people are great good, and evil people are very evil."
Hearing what Du Ku said, Ye Wutian immediately thought of the evil spirit deep in his heart. Maybe the existence of this evil spirit was really related to the Lingxinxin method he practiced.
Overcoming Suffering then went on to give enlightenment: "Good and evil originate from one thought. Buddha and demons arise from the heart. One thought of Buddha and one thought of demons. All things in the world exist if they exist in the heart, and if they do not exist in the heart, they do not exist. If a single thought does not arise, the middle way does not exist."
"As a layman, I am far less advanced than the divine monk, and I think I cannot cut off the seven emotions and six desires. I dare to ask the divine monk, if this junior is invaded by evil thoughts, how can I get rid of it?" Ye Wutian asked humbly, recalling the last evil thought.
He couldn't help but feel a little scared after the experience of having his spirit seize his body. He couldn't even guarantee whether he would be able to escape safely if a similar situation happened again next time.
"Amitabha! The world is ups and downs. If you are confused, the realm of happiness becomes a sea of suffering, like water condensing into ice; if you enlighten, the sea of suffering becomes a realm of happiness, just like ice turning into water. It can be seen that there are no two realms of suffering and happiness. Confusion and enlightenment are not two minds, and they only occur in a moment of thought.
"My Buddha's Prajna Heart Sutra is the most true and most benevolent Dharma. If donor Ye can study this sutra with me, even if he cannot get rid of evil thoughts, he can still keep his mind clear."
"Please give me some advice from the holy monk." Ye Wutian sincerely asked for advice.
He nodded in pain, then closed his eyes, moved his beads with his fingers, and recited: "Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, after walking in the deep Prajnaparamita for a long time, he saw that the five aggregates are empty, and he survived all the hardships. The relics are not empty in color.
, Emptiness is not different from form, form is emptiness, emptiness is form, feelings, thoughts, and consciousness are also like this..."
As Du Ku's lips closed, golden runes flew out of his mouth one by one, and these runes entered Ye Wutian's head in an orderly manner.
The Prajna Heart Sutra is just over a hundred words long, but it is concise and meaningful. Monks recite this sutra every day, but only a few truly understand its true meaning. The Fifth Patriarch said: Without knowing the original mind, learning the Dharma is useless. Because there is no enlightenment.
Those who are enlightened will not understand the true meaning of this Buddhist sutra.
He taught the entire scripture to Empress Ye Wutian, and after suffering the hardship, she taught her earnestly: "Buddha said that when the mind is born, all kinds of demons are born, and when the mind is destroyed, all kinds of demons are destroyed. If there are no worries, worries, and desires, you will naturally be clear. However, benevolence
When the heart is moved, emotions will arise and turn into demons. The inner demons will last a lifetime and cause endless troubles. Donor Ye, although I, the Buddha, can point the direction for you, I cannot control your thoughts. You have to make your own decision on how to move forward."
"Juniors, please remember the teachings of the divine monk."
"Amitabha." Du Ku said with his hands clasped together.
Ye Wutian said again: "Monk, I still have something I want to ask you for advice."
"Donor Ye just said it bluntly," Du Ku said.
"I heard that our Chinese martial arts world is divided into two realms, the inner and outer realms. I would like to ask you some questions about the inner realm of the martial arts world." Ye Wutian said expectantly.
"Why do secular people worry about the affairs of the martial arts world, and why do people on the outside worry about the chaos in the inner world? With the qualifications of Donor Ye, it is only a matter of time to set foot in the inner world. When the time is ripe, everything will be clear naturally, so Donor Ye has no need to rush for a while."
Hard teaching transforms the Tao.
Hearing what Du Ku said, Ye Wutian suddenly realized that the most important thing at the moment was training. If his training was insufficient, even if he knew the identity of his enemy, it would only increase his worries.
Then, Ye Wutian said goodbye and left. After walking out of the cave, he walked through the Bronze Man Hall under the leadership of Kong Ji and left the Shaolin Temple directly.
On the train back to Jiangling, Ye Wutian devoted himself to studying the Prajna Heart Sutra taught by Qi Du Ku. What surprised him was that this set of Prajna Heart Sutra had similarities with the Mahaparinirvana Sutra. He even doubted the Mahaparinirvana Sutra.
The Pan Sutra is derived from the Prajna Heart Sutra, or in other words, the Prajna Heart Sutra is extended from the Mahaparinirvana Sutra.
The Great Prajna controls life and death, governs all things, and controls the universe; the Nirvana is neither born nor destroyed, is neither stained nor pure, neither increases nor decreases; the Prajna is a great realm, great compassion, and great wisdom.
To those monks, this set of Prajna Heart Sutra is just an ordinary scripture that is chanted all day long. Even the advanced monks who have experienced such great enlightenment through suffering can only understand the superficial meaning of the Heart Sutra.
However, in Ye Wutian's view, this set of Prajna Heart Sutra contains extremely profound artistic conception. It can be said that each word is a method, and each sentence is ups and downs. Even if there is the Mahaparinirvana Sutra to guide the way, it is difficult to understand its profound meaning in a short time.
.
Ye Wutian believes that if one can fully understand this Prajna Heart Sutra, it will be of great benefit to the practice of the Mahaparinirvana Sutra. Of course, fully understanding it will not happen overnight.
After reciting the Prajna Heart Sutra quietly, Ye Wutian felt that his spirit was clear and the world in front of him seemed to become clear and clear.
Unconsciously, the train arrived at Jiangling Station, and it was already ten o'clock in the evening when we returned to the villa. Seeing that the girls were practicing in their rooms, Ye Wutian did not bother them, but went directly to the temporary alchemy room.
Today I saw the power of antidote pills in Kong Liao, so he planned to refine a few more pills and bring them with him in case of emergency.
The following days were still spent in seclusion.
In mid-December, autumn is coming to an end, and the weather is getting cooler. The hillside behind the villa is covered with golden sweaters, and the withered yellow leaves and bright maple leaves are falling down, like a few colorful butterflies flying in the air. Although
The frost is coming, but the green pine trees are still wearing green robes, walking around
Against the background of the yellow, it looks even greener. In the garden in front of the villa, the chrysanthemums are blooming, red like fire, pink like clouds, and white like snow. It's so beautiful. All the leaves on the persimmon trees have fallen.
, but the yellow persimmons are still hanging on the branches, like large and small orange lanterns.
In two days it will be the winter solstice.
The winter solstice is a very important solar term in the lunar calendar and a traditional festival of the Chinese nation. As early as the Spring and Autumn Period more than 2,500 years ago, our country had already used Tugui to observe the sun and determined the winter solstice. It is one of the twenty-four solar terms.
The earliest one to be formulated, it is between December 21st and 23rd of the Gregorian calendar every year. This day is the shortest day and the longest night in the whole year in the northern hemisphere.
In ancient times, the Winter Solstice was highly valued and even regarded as a major festival. There was a saying that "the Winter Solstice is as big as the New Year", and many places have the custom of celebrating the Winter Solstice.
Folks use the weather quality and arrival sequence on the winter solstice to predict future weather.
As the saying goes: the winter solstice is at the beginning of the month, and it is colder at the end of the month; the winter solstice is at the end of the month, and it is colder at the first month; the winter solstice is in the middle of the month, and there is no snow or frost. This is based on how early or late the winter solstice arrives, and how early or late the cold wave will arrive.
As the saying goes: if the winter solstice is dark, the new year will be sparse; if the winter solstice is sparse, the new year will be dark. This means: if there is no sun on the winter solstice, then it will be sunny during the new year. On the contrary, if it is sunny during the winter solstice, it will rain during the new year.
Shennong's Secret Realm happened to be opened on the day of the winter solstice. I don't know whether it was a coincidence or necessity. However, for most practitioners, this issue is irrelevant at all, because what they care about is just the rich elixir in Shennong's Secret Realm.
