Chapter 868 Dumbledore: I'm waiting for someone here!

"What the hell happened? Did Voldemort want to kill Professor Snape?" Harry asked.

He was inexplicably brought to Voldemort by Snape, and "dead" under the Black Devil's killing curse without saying a few words, so he was not sure about the current situation in the outside world.

"I can't see anything more specific, but I think it should be related to Horcrux..." At this point, Dumbledore paused, and then told him about the fact that he had instructed Snape to kill Nagini, the Snake.

"Then how should I destroy that Horcrux and use the Scarlet Spell? But I have never learned that spell." Harry seemed a little at a loss. How difficult the Horcrux was, he heard from Ivan, Sirius and others that ordinary magic could not even leave a trace on the Horcrux.

"No, it's not a wise move to use black magic to fight against black magic." Dumbledore shook his head and asked with a smile. "Remember how your mother fought against the Killing Curse?"

"Use...love?" Harry said uncertainly.

"Or it is the power of faith!" Dumbledore said slowly. "In order to protect you from bad luck, Lily was willing to sacrifice herself and burst out with indescribable courage. She used an ancient magic to transform this extremely firm belief into power and hide it in your body."

"If necessary, you can try to use similar powers to fight Horcruxes..." Dumbledore added.

"I'm afraid I can't do this, sir..." Harry's face turned red and he couldn't help but refute. Now he didn't even have a magic wand in his hand, let alone a powerful spell that could transform faith into power.

It's impossible that as long as he wants to kill Nagini, the other party will explode on his own, right?

This is too outrageous...

"I believe you can do it, as long as you want and have a firm will..." Dumbledore said mysteriously, and then urged without waiting for Harry to answer.

"Okay, it's time for you to go back now, Harry, go back!"

The scenes around him shaking violently, and the towering hall cracked countless fine gaps, as if they were about to collapse in the next moment.

Harry didn't care about the doubts in his mind for a moment and shouted loudly. "What about you, Professor Dumbledore? Aren't you going back with me?"

"We are different. You are still alive and hopeful, but I am dead. What I want to take is another way to go through a brand new, unknown adventure." Dumbledore said with a smile.

Harry wanted to speak but stopped. If he walked forward, he would lead to the world of the dead and he would return to the paradise of the living, did he mean that Dumbledore, who stayed here, was like himself, was between life and death, and did not make any choice.

"I stay here because I still need to wait for someone here..." Dumbledore's figure was becoming more and more transparent, as if shrouded in white mist, but his voice was accurately conveyed to Harry's ears. "If he is willing to keep the promise, maybe he will come soon..."

Waiting for someone...Who? Harry didn't have time to ask again, the pillars used for support on both sides had collapsed, and Dumbledore's figure completely disappeared in front of him. Everything around seemed to be collapsed, and even cracks appeared on the ground.

Harry had no choice but to turn around quickly and run wildly.

After running for a long time, Harry found that there was no end in front of him except white fog.

What worries him even more was that the speed of the ground collapse was getting faster and faster, even exceeding his running speed. The grounds in front, back, left and right were collapsing. Under endless despair, he fell into the bottomless abyss...

I don't know how long it took, but Harry suddenly felt something rushing his body and hit the wall behind him.

The severe pain made Harry wake up quickly, but as soon as he opened his eyes, he saw a winding snake spitting out a letter, as if he was about to bite him.

Such a stimulating scene scared Harry, but his groggy body made him unable to avoid it.

Just in the midst of this flash, a sound of a sharp weapon cutting through the air came over. The big snake wandering beside him was instantly cut into two pieces. The smelly snake blood splattered and stained his robe and face.

The disgusting smell kept floating into Harry's nose, but he was not in the mood to pay attention to this. The experience of escaping from death again made him feel unstoppable.

Harry held up his body, his eyes looked around, and there was a bloody color all over his eyes.

The wide basement was filled with snake corpses of different sizes, with scarlet blood and minced meat all over the ground. Harry even saw a big snake with only half of his body twisting his body hideously.

Snape, who saved his life, was leaning halfway between him, his body next to the wall, his face looked so ugly that he was bitten by a poisonous snake during the battle, and an empty bottle was thrown on his feet.

Although Harry didn't know the cause and effect, he could still guess some of this scene. Voldemort must have hid Nagini in the basement, mixed with countless big snakes.

With his familiarity with Nagini, he searched in this spacious, dark basement and soon positioned the other person's position.

Of course, this does not mean that Snape's eyes are bad, but that only by half lying like him can he find Nagini - this cunning snake hovered on the towering bracket on the right, climbing along the beam little by little to Snape's head.

A chill appeared in Harry's heart. He didn't know where the strength came from. He ignored the pain in his body and jumped up from the ground and shouted loudly. "Professor, be careful!"

Snape reacted instantly, raised his head suddenly, waved his wand vigorously, and the invisible magic blade flew out, hitting Nagini's body, making a crisp sound of iron and stone attacks.

Nagini's painful hissing sound also came, and the snake body as thick as a child's waist rolled and fell from the air. However, due to the particularity of the Horcrux, even if he ate a divine tip, there was no scar on the huge snake body.

"Use sharp fire!" Harry reminded.

"Do you think I don't know? There is no fire here!" Snape replied angrily, then his legs became weak and almost fell to the ground. The hole-shaped dots on his right leg were constantly oozing out black blood. He didn't know this information before, so he was attacked and bitten by Nagini, who was mixed in the snake pile.

Fortunately, in order to deal with this big snake, he specially prepared a powerful antidote to neutralize some of the toxicity, so he was able to persist until now.
