Chapter 884: Aggressive Wizards Association

"This is Director Connor of the North American Demon France Society!" Pierce pointed to one of the thin and capable male witches and introduced.

"Hello, Director!" Ivan stretched out his hand and snatched Connor lightly.

"I've heard of you, Hals!" Connor's face appeared a little smile, but his eyes were full of scrutiny. "The newspaper said that you are the most talented wizard in England, Dumbledore's favorite disciple?"

"Principal Dumbledore is always happy to help the students who ask him for help... I was just fortunate to get some guidance from the principal." Ivan said ambiguously. Before he determined the other party's purpose, he did not intend to talk too well about his relationship with Dumbledore.

"I wonder if Director Connor is so anxious to come to me?" Ivan added.

"Hals, can you tell me where were you on the day Grindelwald escaped from prison?" Connor's smile suddenly gathered, looked at Ivan and asked.

Ivan said without hesitation. "Of course it's at Hogwarts..."

"Don't try to lie in front of me!" Connor interrupted with a gloomy face before Ivan finished speaking. "As far as we know, when Grindelwald attacked Hogwarts, you were not in the castle. Someone saw you coming late half an hour later."

"In addition, after receiving a letter from Minister Pierce, the International Wizards Federation immediately sent the Aurors to investigate. According to their report, three spell casting traces were found near Newmongad..." Connor said word by word.

This doesn't mean anything... Ivan subconsciously wanted to refute, but after using the mind of God to detect some of the memories that emerged in Connor's mind, he immediately stopped talking.

Because among the Aurors sent by the International Wizards Federation to Neumangad, some of them mastered a unique magic that could restore corresponding magic images based on the magic traces remaining on the battlefield.

However, because Pierce's notification was one day late, the traces of magic left at Newmongad had dissipated a lot, so the International Wizards Federation did not obtain complete video information, just knowing that they had been there.

Realizing this, Ivan changed his voice and admitted it directly. "Okay, Director Connor, just like you said, I was indeed no longer Hogwarts, but in Newmongade..."

Connor was a little surprised why Ivan suddenly became so happy, but he didn't think too much, but continued to question. "What did you do at that time?"

"I received a report from the house elf, which told me that Voldemort had gone there and fought with Grindelwald." Ivan explained patiently.

"The house elf? Why did it know this news?" Connor asked relentlessly.

"Neumgaard has been abandoned for many years, and there is only Grindelwald, a prisoner. If it weren't for the care of the house elf, he would have died long ago. Director Connor wouldn't have been unable to understand this, right?" Ivan was very upset by a series of questions and said with a sarcastic sarcasm.

Connor didn't care about Ivan's thorny words, and said slowly. "I just felt strange, why did the house elf tell you this news? Also, since you know that Grindelwald is fighting Voldemort, why did you dare to go to Newmongad?"

"Just click directly, Director Connor, what do you want to ask?" Ivan's face suddenly became cold.

"Did you let it go?" Connor asked aggressively.

"Why should I do this? It's not good for me to let him go!" Ivan said with a sneer.

"This is not necessarily the case. More than fifty years ago, there were many talented wizards as much as you were bewitched by Grindelwald's words...especially when you asked him for help... I heard that Grindelwald killed Voldemort, a famous black demon in England that day? Did you reach an agreement with him?" Connor stared at Ivan, trying to see something from his reaction.

In Connor's view, Grindelwald had been imprisoned for decades and could never escape from the tower of Neumengard, so someone must have provided him with help, and the little wizard in front of him was their suspicious candidate. After all, the other party happened to appear in Neumengard that day.

However, beyond Connor's expectations, after his repeated questioning, Ivan did not show panic or fear, but was calm and scary.

Connor felt a little inexplicably, but this feeling was quickly suppressed by him. He had no reason to be afraid of a wizard of sixteen or seventeen years old.

Thinking of this, Connor threatened again. "Considering that you are still underage this year, I can open the Internet. As long as you honestly cooperate with our investigation, the International Wizards Federation will never make things difficult for you!

But if you are not going to tell the truth... Then the renovated Neumangard will probably have another prisoner!"

Connor's threatening words made Pierce on the side frightened. He quietly distanced himself from the few people, so as not to be affected by the sudden flying of the heart-warming curse and the killing curse - how dare they speak to this demon like this...

"Grindelwald's escape has nothing to do with me. As for your questions, I can answer them too!" Ivan's tone became heavier and patient had reached the limit.

"That's because I am the only one in Hogwarts who can escape unscathed when facing Grindelwald and Voldemort. The house elves know this very well, so they will naturally not look for others..."

Connor was amused by Ivan's words, and the Aurors from the North American Association behind him couldn't help laughing.

"I've read the newspaper yesterday and admit that you are very talented, Hals, but Grindelwald's power is far from what you can imagine..." After Connor smiled, his face soon became serious.

He was able to become the director of the North American Magic Investigation Bureau at the age of 30, and naturally he was an absolute genius. Although he failed to get the appreciation of big names like Ivan and graduated early, and made a big splash in the exam and defeated several Aurors who were free to the water, he also achieved due honors with all O (outstanding) results.

So Connor knew very well that no matter how talented he was and was limited by age, energy and combat experience, he was just the level of the elite Auror. The exaggerated remarks in the Prophet Daily may not be credible...
