"A stone dragon versus a stone tiger, there are tens of thousands of gold and silver, whoever can tell the difference will buy the Chengdu mansion."

This silver-hunting secret about the treasure of the murderous demon king Zhang Xianzhong was passed down by a one-armed general at the mouth of the Pengshan River. When he was alive, he lived in seclusion by the Minjiang River and said nothing.

It wasn't until he was about to die when he was over eighty years old that he used his remaining hand to point to a stone tablet in front of his house and shouted: "Heaven will destroy me, Daxi!" After that, he passed away suddenly.

The family members were curious and cleared away the tree roots and weeds around the stele. A closer look revealed that the front of the stele was engraved with the construction record of Fuhu Temple in the Jin Dynasty. The handwriting was neat and it was obviously carved carefully by a stonemason. On the back of the stele, it was not known whether it was carved with a sickle or a kitchen knife.

, the one-armed general must have carved this silver-seeking tactic crookedly.

Their home turned out to be Fuhu Temple. A war decades ago burned Fuhu Temple to ashes. The one-armed general, bleeding all over his body, fled here from the Minjiang River and hid in the lake next to Fuhu Temple.

middle.

After the smoke cleared, he built a thatched hut on the ruins of the temple and lived there.

Not long after, a woman fleeing with two children passed by. When she saw the one-armed general, she exclaimed: "General Feng, why are you here?"

General Feng shook his head silently, and kept the women and children to form a family and live here. The children changed their surname to Feng, but they all called General Feng their uncle.

The woman told her children before her death that her uncle was a general of Zhang Xianzhong, King of the West, and he stayed here because he was injured, thus saving his life.

Now it seems that he is living in seclusion here to protect Zhang Xianzhong's treasure. The family is shocked. This is the Qing Dynasty, and the Manchu world must not be made public, otherwise it will lead to death.

But the treasure is tempting, and this silver-hunting formula is not difficult to decipher. The stone tiger is seen every day, squatting next to the stone monument, and only needs to find the stone dragon. The two brothers made up their minds to search slowly, and hurriedly found the stone tiger.

The stone tablet was buried.

Decades later, they turned the house upside down and searched all around. They found neither the stone dragon nor the treasure, so they had to pass on this silver-hunting formula orally, hoping to bring benefits.

The next generation.

Generation after generation, more and more people knew about it, and it was passed down along both sides of the river, and it became a legend, about the treasure of Zhang Xianzhong, the king of the West, and the legend of Jiangjun Lake where the one-armed general lived in seclusion.

The rolling waters of the Minjiang River pass by, and dynasties change in the blink of an eye.

In 2016 AD, due to several major treasure theft cases, Zhang Xianzhong was rich in silver at the mouth of the Pengshan River, which became a topic of conversation after dinner.

"It turns out that the legend is true. A few bosses dug sand and gravel and actually dug out a lot of gold and silver ingots."

"There was also a group of brave people who wore diving suits and sank to the bottom of the river to touch, and they actually found rare treasures!"

"Haha, it turns out that the stone dragon is on the cliff of the Minjiang River, less than a hundred meters away from the stone tiger. It has been flooded by the river before, and no one has discovered it for hundreds of years."

"Quick, quick, quick, people all over the city went to the lower river beach to pick up treasures. Someone picked up a large bag of Xiwang reward silver coins. I heard that each coin is worth 50,000 yuan on the market."

"The government has sealed the river beach. Please don't pick it up. This is illegal."

The next year, the National Underwater Archaeological Team excavated more than 42,000 cultural relics of various types in the Minjiang River below the stilted building at the mouth of the Pengshan River. This section of the river was identified as the Sinking Silver Site at the Zhang Xianzhong River Estuary.

The cultural relics found in the water include the gold seal of Generalissimo Yongchang of Hu Niu, the "gold seal" of the Daxi regime, gold and silver coins of "Xiwang Rewards for Merit", copper coins of "Dashun Tongbao", as well as a large number of silver ingots and wooden sheaths used to transport silver ingots.

All these cultural relics are directly related to Zhang Xianzhong and his Daxi Kingdom, and even match his marching route. How could such a huge treasure be at the bottom of the Minjiang River?

The author's curiosity suddenly aroused, he checked various historical records, and went to the Minjiang River several times to inquire about various folklore.

In the late Ming Dynasty, Zhang Xianzhong, the leader of the Great Western Army, once carried thousands of ships of gold, silver and jewels down the river from Chengdu, but he was raided in the Minjiang River area and most of the treasures sank in the river. This is absolutely true history.

This time, along with the gold and silver treasures, a large number of iron ship nails, oars, ship poles and other cultural relics were discovered during this archeology, which also proved the reality of that thrilling water war.

Who defeated him here? It was Yang Zhan, a native of Jiading.

Why is Yang Zhan so capable? He can actually defeat a murderer.

Besides, was it really Zhang Xianzhong who killed Sichuan people from more than 4 million to only 90,000? If not, why are we not real Sichuan people? My family is also from Xiaogan, Hubei.

Historical records record: After the war in the late Ming Dynasty, the population of Sichuan was as rare as the morning star. The Qing government issued a series of policies to fill Sichuan, and issued an edict called the "Edict to Recruit People to Fill Sichuan in the Thirty-Third Year of Kangxi", ordering people from Hunan to

, Hubei, Guangdong and other places massively immigrated to Sichuan, and then the devastated Land of Abundance was rebuilt.

There are also many legends among the people. Zhang Xianzhong hated Sichuan people because of some trivial matters, so he wanted to kill all Sichuan people. These legends may seem false but they are true.

But why could Yang Zhan, who could defeat him, not have the ability to keep him out of Sichuan? Why couldn't he stop him from killing people indiscriminately?

In recent years, some people have said that Zhang Xianzhong actually did not kill many people. History is written by the victors. Most historical records of the late Ming Dynasty are the masterpieces of the Qing government. Of course, they want to demonize Zhang Xianzhong.

What is the truth? History has gone far away, and what is left, besides these cultural relics, is the still beautiful Minjiang River.
