Chapter 4: Introduction

"Ah!" Lake yawned a big yawn and rubbed his eyes. He looked at his father who was busy in the kitchen, and then looked at Pastor Buti who was reading a book on a recliner by the window. A big question mark appeared in his small head. He was also the one who went to bed late at night, why! Why are they more energetic than him? Is this the adult staying up late?

"Lack, don't stand there stupidly! What are you doing! Brush your teeth and wash your face quickly! My breakfast is about to be ready! If you haven't sorted yourself out after I have prepared breakfast, don't blame me for being angry!" Mr. Doka, who was still busy in the kitchen, expressed great dissatisfaction with Lake standing next to dazed.

"Okay, okay, I'll go right away, go right away." Lake immediately expressed his understanding. After yawning another time, he entered the bathroom and began to brush his teeth and rinse his mouth.

"Really, I got up so late even though I knew there were guests coming." Doka murmured quietly, and served the mushroom soup on his hand onto the plate.

Buti, who had already put down the books, picked up the prepared breakfast and refuted Doka: "The child will not go to bed after you get home. Don't you think about who is wrong."

"I, I, will I ask him to wait for me to come back before going to bed?" Mr. Doka, who was obviously guilty, did not want to admit that Lake went to bed late because he was waiting for his return.

"So, can I think it's my own self-indulgent? Dad?" Lake, who had just washed his face and walked out of the bathroom, expressed his opinion.

"Eat, eat, this morning was a luxurious breakfast, mushroom soup, toast bread, and bacon fried eggs." Doka quickly stepped forward, pulled Lake to sit in his seat, and enthusiastically introduced the breakfast.

"Lack, do you know what I'm here today?" Butty picked up the spoon and took a sip of the mushroom soup, and ate it slowly.

"Well, I probably guessed it, because my dad told me before that he wanted me to go out for more walks, and he also told me mysteriously that he had hired a well-known person as my instructor."

"Yes, of course. Lake, I will introduce you to the old man in front of you. The former famous adventurer, the current walking elder of the Walker Sect, and an expert scholar in the mechanical department. Mr. Buti Stu," Doka put down the toast bread in his hand, turned his head to introduce to Lake.

"Actually, it just sounds so powerful. I am just an ordinary scholar. I will always be a traveler on the road to pursuing knowledge." Buti waved his hand and told Lake not to care about the title Doka mentioned.

"Emm, actually, Mr. Buti, I have always had a question about your sect. I wonder if I can ask?" Lake asked after drinking the mushroom soup in one breath, rubbed his mouth with his cuffs.

"Of course, we welcome the question from those who ask for knowledge. Knowledge is about sharing rather than hiding." Butti made a gesture of asking for advice to Lake.

"Are the gods living in the upper god realm really gods?"

"Oh, a very thoughtful question. Have you ever thought about how to answer this question? Or, what do you think about it?" Buti showed a very interested expression and asked Lake to answer.

When it comes to questioning the gods located in the upper god realm, the Prayer Sect, or the Order Gods Federation, has always been a vigorous promotion.

More than two thousand years ago, the religious world was still ruled by the Light and Dark Gods (the camp position is evil), and the human world was still in the concept of a god ruling the world. Then, under the resistance of the Federation of Order Good Gods composed of mortal gods and the guardian of mortals, all the gods were sent out of the human world by Sardo's sacrifice of all the power, and the upper gods were actually part of the Telle Continent.

Of course, after the Gregorian calendar, there were four continents in the world. Under the suppression of the church of the Good God of Order, churches that believed in the Dark God of the Gonads were disbanded or turned into esoteric organizations, and only a few churches that did not have anti-mortal tendencies were left behind. After that, the neutral church and the church of the Good God of Order began to lead the world.

However, the idea that gods rule the human world is still deeply rooted in the human world. The gods of order have no way to call on believers to teach mortals to abandon this concept. (The gods of order are mostly mortal gods, which have become transformed from powerful mortals who have mastered some of the world's laws. They are mainly mortal liberals and do not want gods to rule the mortals.) The neutral church, who has just experienced the benefits, cannot interfere too much in the operation of the human world, and can only allow believers who believe in themselves to maintain their theocratic rule. (The gods of concepts require more and more people to believe in them. If no one believes in them, they will disappear.)

"I have asked the pastors of the Value Church and the Ocean Church, and they all told me that the gods in the upper realm were messengers who governed the human world in place of the god Taylor, and were angels," Lake replied obediently.

"The young man started to specialize in this kind of problem at a young age. OK! It's very promising." Butty gave Lake a thumbs up, "So what do you think?"

"Actually, I don't know either. I just think that the elemental inscription was invented by mortals, and the rechargeable machinery was invented by mortals. Even when facing criminals and evil forces, they just borrowed some power to mortals. So in fact, we mortals don't need the governance of gods, right?" Lake shook his head and said that he didn't know how to answer this question.

"Oh! Smart kids can think with rational thinking logic at a young age. Doka, I think you may have introduced me to a great student."

"Of course, uncle! You have to learn to believe me. I am not the young man who used to like to scream. I am also a mature uncle with children. You are all a grandfather!" Doka expressed his dissatisfaction in an exaggerated tone without expression.

"Hahaha, I think Lake is more like an adult than you. Do you think it's right, Lake?" Butty laughed and asked Lake, who had already finished breakfast and prepared to wash dishes.

"really."

Doka frowned and thought about where he had immature things: "By the way Lake, what are you thinking about? Should you go out for a trip and study with Grandpa Buti?"

"Okay, I'm actually looking forward to going out, but Dad, you still have to open a store, and no one is with me to go out for adventure."

"It's not because you're introverts don't like to talk."

"No way, I just feel a little slow to warm up, and I can't let go of my unfamiliar environment."

Buti, who also finished breakfast, stood up and handed the plate in his hand to Lake who was washing dishes. "After washing the dishes, I'll take you to see my baby power car, and then go to buy some supplies."

"Ah? Are you so hurrying? Uncle, don't you stay for a while?" Duka was a little surprised because he had only been here for a little more than a day.

"Actually, I received your element letter from the northern province. I was originally from the calendar province to handle something."

"Okay, Lake, when you go out with Grandpa Butty later, remember not to get too far away from him. OK! I'll go down to open a store."

Doka also handed the tableware he had finished to Lake who was waiting, wiped his hands and walked downstairs to prepare to open the door and do business.
