60. Corpse(1/2)

Tanya put her hands behind her back and walked towards her home with anticipation.

Hevan followed Tanya in a black fur coat and a top hat with a brisk step.

"Although the street I live in looks a bit dilapidated, everyone in the neighborhood is very good and has been taking care of my sister and I since I was a child."

The little girl felt like she was invited to visit her home for the first time, and she introduced her proudly.

Hewen replied with a smile:

"Although there are some bad things in this world, there is always no shortage of people shining with light."

The girl nodded happily:

"Well, with everyone's help, I can grow up safely until now."

The crowds on the streets gradually increased.

Hewen said:

"Is it quite lively here? Is this a commercial street?"

Tanya shook her head, her blonde hair moved with the wind:

"There won't be so many people on the streets. Maybe there are any activities today? Maybe we can participate in it later."

When Hewen accompanied the girl on the street, Tanya gradually forgot the difference in identity between the two and invited in a friend's tone.

The streets were getting louder and louder, shouting, crying, and roaring mixed together.

The girl's pace couldn't help but slow down.

The two of them suddenly noticed that the people around them looked a little special.

The smell of wood burning is spreading in the air.

The girl's walking speed began to speed up, and she no longer dared to look at others' eyes.

Hewen looked around.

A feeling of sympathy and compassion almost enveloped the entire street.

The girl started running, and Hewen followed behind him at a speed similar to her.

A piece of burnt wreckage gradually appeared in front of the two of them, and some flames were dancing in the air.

Tanya pushed away the onlookers and rushed towards the house where there was still heat.

A pair of thick and fat big hands hugged the girl who was halfway through.

Tanya looked up.

Teacher Abbott shook his head in a sad look.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

The girl wailed in pain in the middle-aged man's arms, and her sharp voice almost broke through the clouds.

There was a tablecloth on the ground not far away, and it was vaguely visible that there was a small body below.

The tablecloth was not far from where Tanya rushed out, but she rushed towards the burnt and hot wood wreckage as if she was invisible.

Hevan walked to Abbott.

The middle-aged teacher could see at a glance that the relationship between the two parties was quite good and signaled Hewen with his eyes.

Hewen reached out to take the girl from the other party and patted her back gently.

The girl almost lost her language ability and could only keep making meaningless whispers and crying, her eyes closed, and her face was in great pain.

"Cry, cry." Hewen comforted softly.

"Woooooooooooo..." His eyes couldn't stop flowing out of the corner of the girl's eyes. Tanya reached out and hugged Hewen tightly, and her fingers unconsciously pressed on the back of the witch hunter.

Abbot, who had a big belly, kept talking but not knowing what to say.

"Goddess? Is there any place in this world that you can't see?" Abbott said gritting his teeth, "They are such good kids, why..."

The strong man was left with only sobs.

A little boy was kneeling not far from the body, and several adults and his companions were surrounding him.

Among this group of people, there was a fat woman and a thin man. They both protected their children tightly and prevented others from getting close to them.

Tanya's eyes spread a little, and she just happened to see this scene.

A feeling of no hope came out of her heart and slowly flowed throughout her body, making her full of strength again.

The power to move even if everything is burned out.

The girl gradually stopped sobing.

Tanya whispered:

"Wright, let me down."

Hewen did not let go immediately:

"Are you standing firm?"

The girl just replied:

"Um."

Hewen carefully asked Tanya to slowly stand on the ground, and only let go of her hand after confirming that she would not fall.

The girl's body trembled slightly, but her steps were extremely steady towards the boy kneeling there.

When the fat woman saw this scene, she quickly stood up, blocked her son with her broad body, and explained anxiously:

"It's not him."

The girl clenched her fists.

She stood suddenly in front of the boy's mother and asked:

"Why is it on fire?"

At this moment, another boy came out of the crowd:

"It was him, Adams told us that he would teach Benita a good lesson tonight."

Adams knelt on the ground, his eyes were silent, and he said nothing.

Tanya pushed the woman away roughly.

At this moment, there was a constant stream of strength in the girl's delicate body, and she punched Adams in the face.

The fat woman rushed up and wanted to push Tanya away, shouting:

"You can't do this. The wooden bed at your house was still what I gave you when I was a child!"

Tanya paused for a second:

"Mom Adams, I'm very grateful for your help in the past, so I won't beat him to death."

After saying that, Tanya continued to walk towards Adams firmly.

The boy seemed to have been woken up by a punch, fell to the ground, kept retreating, and murmured in a low voice:

"Fire, fire, fire, fire."

Adams's mother continued to twist her clumsy body, pushing and pulling Tanya's body:

"He has become like this, I beg you to let him go."

Adams's father clenched his fists and walked towards the two people in the dispute.

Abbott blocked him with his body that was one size bigger than Adams's father:

"I advise you not to do anything, you are not as strong as me."

Tanya pushed Adams' mother away and continued to walk towards Adams.

Seeing Tanya's boy who was fighting against her mother seemed to be stimulated, she suddenly hugged her head with both hands, shrank into a ball, and shouted in pain:

"Don't come over, don't come over, don't come over, I saw nothing, I didn't see anything!"

Around the tablecloth.

Hevan walked to the girl's body.

Several men wearing beaver leather felt hats surrounded Hewen:

"She will be buried soon, so let the girl have some last dignity?"

Hewen asked expressionlessly:

"Who are you?"

The man in the lead saw that Hewen had an extraordinary identity and explained politely:

"The Rat Hat Gang, all the burials here are under our jurisdiction."

Hewen nodded and signaled clearly:
