After several rounds of experiments, it was confirmed that steam cars cannot grow like steam locomotives.

Although it can provide sufficient power, the driver cannot see the people in front of him, and he will die if he presses them all the way. Fortunately, I have accumulated a lot of special experience when building a steam locomotive. The team knew that the cylinder should be small and maintained with sufficient power. It is best to use seamless hot-rolled cylinder blocks.

Welding... Even though there are oxygen in high-pressure gas cylinders recently, the strength of acetylene welding is still far from seamless forging technology.

The seamless hot-rolled cylinder block can withstand outrageous air pressure.

The steam locomotives running on railways now have a standard speed operating steam pressure of less than one megapas. Oh, ordinary citizens have not learned this unit yet, but it doesn’t matter. Pressure vessel factories and locomotive factories, as long as people in heavy industry can understand it. One megapa is ten kilograms per square centimeter.

In contrast, the high-pressure cylinder made by a three-axis hot rolling mill specially tailored for the pressure vessel factory by Xincheng Heavy Industry, the effective pressure has been measured to be 12 megapas. Due to the equipment capacity, it cannot be added up any further. The pressure vessel factory is trying to charge it and explode or until it is cracked to determine the highest pressure value.

This means that using seamless technology to produce the pressure cylinders of steam cars, even if the diameter is larger, it will definitely be fine to withstand a pressure of three to five megapas. However, this pressure is more dangerous to the driver. If you control it to 2 to 2.5 megapas, and relatively reduce the thickness of the cylinder wall, you can get about 80 horsepower with a weight of half a ton.

After the horsepower is powered in Fenggu, the calculation of the electric power is directly used without reference to the camel beast. One horse has a output capacity of one kilowatts, which is simple and easy to understand without conversion.

The steam mechanism, plus coal-fired, water tank storage, backup water, driving mechanism, transmission mechanism, covers a shell, including the wheels, the weight will probably exceed two tons, and three tons of goods will be added. In this way, the frame and wheels also need sufficient strength and increase weight.

The full load is more than six tons. The team members have calculated that will the 80 horsepower be smaller?

However, many road surfaces are hardened with cement now, and the road surface can't stand it with steel wheels, and the friction is not enough.

There is now a need for a material that can provide friction and assist in buffering and protecting the road surface.

Leather is good, but it is too expensive to use for wheels. This thing needs to achieve enough cushioning. It is not enough to be finished if it is forty or fifty layers. Moreover, leather can easily rot if it passes through muddy roads.

The steaming car team was looking for materials suitable for tires in the next two months.

There are many alternatives, but many of them cannot be mass-produced.

After two months, only two forms of tires barely meet the requirements.

This tire is a steel wheel hub with a cork press-fit tire, a special resin layer is added on the outside, and there are several paint brushing and final painter in the middle.

It can be used, but there are problems with durability. The group replaced the handmade tires and added the model car to a state of 20% overweight. After observing it at rest for about three days, it produced permanent deformation that could be measured with a ruler.

Fortunately, this kind of tire is not expensive, making the tire wider and reducing the pressure can also resist deformation. It is at least easier than feeding the cattle again and again. If there is no better one in the future, you can only choose one from it and the steel core tire.

The steel core tire is even more outrageous. This was a sudden thought by someone in the steam car group. He directly used elastic yellow steel to make the wheel hub. There was only a layer of resin that protected the wheel hub from being directly grounded on the outside, or a wear-resistant tarp cloth soaked in oil.

Everyone originally thought it was unrestrained, but when they went to the iron factory to consult, they said they could do it.

This kind of tire has better mass production capacity, but it also has a big drawback, which is that its performance difference will become particularly large under no load and full load, because the yellow plate can only be used according to the requirements of the maximum load overseas road conditions. In this way, the tire will feel the same as the pure steel tire when it is no load, and it will be hard.

The team comes back to calculate, and read a book. It’s okay. You can overcome the problem by putting some effort into the suspension of the frame and avoiding the steam mechanism being malfunctioned by external vibrations.

Both tires have different problems, but they can be used.

Benz made the decision to build two prototypes first, each with one tire and a different frame suspension, and lend them to other factories for use. Anyway, there is no time limit for the task, as long as you ensure that all companies are willing to buy it after mass production.

Compared with the smooth flow of the steam unit, the electric vehicle unit is more troublesome.

There are many troubles in the internal and external components of lead-acid batteries. Fenggu Power has been working for a long time but has not made satisfactory and safer products.

Fenggu Electric Power, a company, was separated from the Redstone Magic Equipment Factory because of insufficient motor production capacity.
