Chapter 43 The accumulated anger

Early in the morning, Martin drove out of the Clayton community and came to the parking lot near Highway 265. After waiting for less than ten minutes, Buckley drove over.

The two cars stopped together. Buckley got out of the car and handed the bag in his hand to Martin: "Everything is in there."

Martin opened the bag. There was a voice recorder, camera, press pass and interview pass. He took out the envelope and stuffed it into Buckley's hand.

Buckley quickly counted and smiled with satisfaction.

Martin said: "Wait for my call."

"It's okay, don't worry." Buckley didn't feel reassured and reminded him slightly: "You won't do anything illegal, right?"

Martin said: "I am a civilized person and I only use the name of your newspaper to attend the press conference of the Methodist Church."

Buckley nodded, got in the car and left. After thinking about it, he felt that something was wrong.

Martin drove to the club, entered the backstage dressing room, and took out the prepared cosmetics.

Bruce opened the door and came in and asked: "Why not let the reporter go?"

Martin opened his makeup bag: "Even if you give him money, he may not ask questions in a way that completely angers a person."

Bruce said: "Man, I have a feeling that if I do something with you, it will be over soon."

Martin asked back: "A civilized person who dares to use mortar shells against a British man is afraid of a man whose brother is not easy to use?"

"I'm afraid you'll blow up the earth!" Bruce saw Martin's proficiency in makeup: "Can you do this?"

Martin shrugged: "I'm an actor, Jack Davis..."

Bruce interrupted: "I know that Jack Davis is the most versatile man in the United States, and you are his bastard son.

Martin snapped his fingers: "Congratulations, civilized man, you have learned a new skill - answering questions!"

Makeup was one of the few gains he gained from his many years as an actor in his previous life.

After putting on makeup, Martin put on a wig, a pair of brown glasses, and a fitted old-fashioned formal suit, looking like a conservative middle-aged man.

If you are not a familiar person, it is difficult to recognize him.

This is specially prepared by Martin according to the conservative style.

The two got into the Ford, and Bruce drove the vehicle to the training center and said, "Be careful, don't get beaten to death on the spot. The shit in your head will fall out, and the whole world will know that you have no brain."

Martin took out his press pass: "I am a reporter now."

The car stopped near the training center. Martin got out of the car, raised his camera, and took photos of the crowd at the Beast House.

Arriving at the door, Martin blended in with other reporters, showed his press card and interview pass, and successfully entered the training center.

Martin also saw several acquaintances, including the female TV reporter who had interviewed him at the door of the Beast House and the male reporter from the Constitution.

Just in case, he stayed away automatically.

…………

The press conference was held in the training center hall, and Ms. Jennifer directed the volunteers to set up the venue.

Elena took over a task and pasted the names of the media participating in the press conference on the back of the chair.

The name of Star News was posted on the front row by her.

Jennifer said at this time: "There will be a question and answer session in the news. The microphone needs to be handed over to the reporter who asked the question, one person on each side."

Elena stood up immediately: "Madam."

Jennifer remembered reporting Elena from the House of Beasts and nodded: "Okay, I'll leave the left side to you."

On the other side, media reporters from Atlanta and Georgia, including Martin, were preparing to enter the press conference.

Two staff members from the training center came over to hand out lunch coupons.

The kind that can be used at any high-end restaurant nearby, the intention is self-evident.

Martin stuffed it into his pocket, mixed in with dozens of reporters, entered the venue, and quickly found a seat in the first row.

The press conference kicked off, hosted by Jennifer, and a family representative who participated in the training took the stage to express his gratitude to the Methodist Association.

A member of the Atlanta City Council spoke highly of their work.

Milton took the stage to give a speech, angrily denounced the ridiculous remarks and behavior of liberals, and reiterated his views.

When it came time to ask questions, Jennifer was the first to call on the reporter from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

This is Atlanta's largest-selling local newspaper.

The Constitution reporter's questions were quite satisfactory, and Milton responded easily.

"Next question." Jennifer glanced at dozens of reporters.

Including Martin, the reporters in the first two rows caught her eye first.

The middle-aged male reporter with old-fashioned clothes, dull temperament and conservative appearance caught her attention just now and immediately clicked: "This reporter in a gray suit."

Elena tried to be as natural as possible and handed the microphone to Martin.

Martin took the microphone and said: "Mr. Milton, you are a legend in Atlanta. Your ideas and ideas have illuminated the land of Georgia."

As soon as these words came out, Milton's tense heartstrings relaxed slightly when facing reporters, and a faint smile appeared on his old-fashioned face.

Just when people were relaxing, the knife that Martin handed over pierced the most painful part of people's hearts: "Are these caused by the cheating of your two ex-wives?"

Martin didn't wait for anyone to react and spoke very quickly: "I interviewed Jessica and Lina, and they said that cheating was because of your incompetence. You couldn't satisfy them but refused to divorce them. They were helpless.

Just in your bedroom, under your wedding photos, cheating with other men."

All his words pointed to Milton's incompetence, blaming Milton's ideas and opinions on his incompetence: "So, your incompetence has caused you to be extremely conservative, right?"

Under normal circumstances, Milton's experience and experience are enough to ensure that he faces these vicious problems with a stable mood.

But the bastards of the House of Beasts have been protesting and provoking day after day this week.

His second wife Lina's "cheating partner" even publicly humiliated Milton in a bar. The news spread like it had wings. Not only the bar drinkers, but also the neighbors in the community looked at him strangely.

How do men endure it?

Milton even lost his safe haven from his wife's entanglement.

Jennifer gestured to the people on both sides of the venue, asking them to quickly take away Martin's microphone.

"Your question time is up." Elena was the first to rush forward and grab the microphone in Martin's hand.

She seemed to be fighting with Martin, but her tall body blocked the two male staff members.

These days, Milton's healed scars have been peeled away little by little, and now they are even more torn and bleeding.

Martin let go of his hand and the microphone was snatched away by Elena.

Although it was a little late, Jennifer was quite relieved to see Elena snatching the microphone back.

The press conference can no longer be held. The reporters have received enough explosive information. There is no point in asking questions anymore. The right way is to go back and rush to the press conference.

Jennifer said two words to announce the end of the press conference.

Reporters rushed out, some making phone calls while walking, asking newspapers or TV stations to reserve space and news time.

Two male staff members have been "protecting" Martin when he went out.

With so many reporters present, it’s impossible for them to really do anything.

Coming out of the training center gate, Martin quickened his pace and turned to the nearby parking lot.

Bruce stood in front of the Ford waiting for him, very disappointed: "You were not beaten to death."

Martin got on the bus: "I am a civilized person and only do civilized things. They sent me out very politely."

Bruce started the car: "Where to go?"

Martin took off his wig and put it away: "Go back and take off your makeup."

Back at the club, Martin took off his makeup and put away all his things.

The meal coupon was still there, so he took it out and handed it to Bruce: "A high-end buffet restaurant, you can bring a female companion."

Bruce snatched it away and praised: "I really admire you for being such a stinky piece of shit. You messed with people and you still took advantage of it."

Martin said: "I regret it now and want to take it back."

When Bruce stuffed it into his pocket, he pulled his coat back to reveal the gun bag: "Are you sure?"

When civilized people appeared, Martin gave in proactively: "I'll treat you."

The two left the club and headed to Route 265, where they waited for Barkley in the parking lot near the Star.

Martin returned the thing to him and said, "I've got some big news for you. Listen to it."

Buckley turned on the external playback of the recorder and listened carefully.

Bruce also listened with his ears pricked up, and glanced at Martin from time to time. Sure enough, this guy's head is full of stinky shit!

"Okay, okay, really big news!" Barkley was very excited: "It's a pity that it's not exclusive."

Many stories automatically formed in his mind: "This will trigger a new round of public opinion war, the most intense kind!"

Martin asked: "Based on your experience in the industry, where is the focus of public opinion?"

Buckley immediately replied: "Of course it is freedom and the brother of men. This topic is easy to get heated up."

"Thank you, Mr. Buckley." Martin was about to withdraw: "I wish you a Pulitzer Prize as soon as possible."

Buckley returned to his car and hurried back to the newspaper office to finish the manuscript. He would spend a long time making up stories... No, there is no shortage of material for news reports.

That night, what Milton said live appeared on the TV news.

In this case, it would be difficult not to cause controversy.

There was a huge quarrel in newspapers and other print media.

Liberal and conservative media criticized each other. Milton, the person involved, not only did not restrain himself, but also reorganized his remarks at the press conference and published a sharper column.

Public opinion in Atlanta exploded.

Conservatives have been deeply rooted in Georgia for many years, and they simply took advantage of the situation to stir up a storm of public opinion and attract all media attention to conservatives.
