Chapter 21 The Old Fireworks (Part 2)
"I don't have money." Dark pretended to be embarrassed and subconsciously pressed his chest, where the new ruble was placed in his pocket.
"I can change, I can change." The young man said hurriedly:
"I have been hungry for three days, just to wait for the 'approximate core of the god' to complete. Brother, I smell the scent of 'water' on you. There is a fainter scent of 'Pramini' in it. I know that you are also looking for Him, the god who controls the flames."
The boy's second half of the sentence was very light, and he said it in Dark's ear.
Even such a soft voice sounded like a thunder that shocked the world in the plain.
Suddenly, Dark pinched the boy's shoulders, and seemed to be even more crazy than him:
"What were you just talking about?"
"You, just now, said, what? 'Plamini', the god who controls the flames, how did you know?"
"I... of course I heard from that... the elder brother who used to be a mechanical body." The young man stared at Dark who looked at him with gray eyes in a panic.
At this moment, the young man suddenly calmed down quickly from the mania just now. He glanced at the side and looked at Wolfya who was following Dak with help.
Seeing this, in order to avoid the two of them doing extreme actions, Wolfya first smiled a few times, then pulled Dak's hands away, kept smiling:
"It seems that you have all returned to normal. Little brother, we are Mayang City who accepted the order to come to the capital to participate in the 'Military Strategy Study'. My name is Wolfya, and he is Dark. He was 'invited' to enter the 'Grey Dream' two days ago, but after waking up, I forgot a lot of content, so I asked my friend of the 'Order Club' and gave him a recipe called 'Source of the Source'. Now, we came here to find a room to refine the heralds and help him regain the lost memories in his dream."
"That's it, huh." The boy breathed a sigh of relief when he heard the detailed explanation of Wolfya's not like lying. After relaxing for two seconds, he stroked his chest and said:
"I may have been so excited just now, sorry. Let me introduce myself. My name is Rose, a native of Binglin Province. I am currently the deputy leader of the 'Northern Ice and Snow Research Group' directly under the Federal Strategic Team. Huh, for this experiment, I have not rested here for three days and three nights, so I am a little confused."
"Woo, I'm so sleepy. I'm going to go downstairs to rest for a while. You'd better not touch the core of the experiment that was successful just now. I used the 'Guidelines' mechanical device to grab an extremely weak power of the dark night from the universe. After leaving the cultivation cabin, it will quickly resonate with the magic power of the water source system in your body, guide them to jump out of the body and tear you apart." Ross said yawning:
"Behind the small door next to it is a room that is useless. A friend who likes magic used to put a lot of magical instruments there. It may be useful if he refines heralds. But remember, you must lock the door when you leave here. The 'order club' and the 'chaotic group' always like to make small moves in the arms control area. We can't do anything to them yet."
"The night is a fireworks show on Christmas Eve. If you go out and want to come in again, go to room '505' on the lower floor to find me. Remember, bring me some food, I have no money."
Ross said as he walked out.
Just as he was about to go downstairs, Dark hurriedly stepped forward and asked urgently:
"What exactly is the 'old fireworks' you just said, and 'Pramini' and the gods, how did you know?"
"Huh, you will know when you wake up from your dream." Ross replied, not turning around.
"But……"
Seeing Ross walking away and his figure disappeared in the stairwell, Wolfya stopped Dark and pulled him back into the messy "research room". He looked around and frowned:
"I think there is nothing to ask from the boy Ross' mouth for the time being. This place is really strange. I think we should not make a heraldry here before we figure out what his experiment is, at least... to get this big red thing away."
"I want..." Dark glanced at the so-called "approximate core of the gods" and nodded:
"You are right, Wolfya. When Ross has enough sleep, we will find out what's going on here before buying heraldic materials. Let's go a step further. But now, there is still a long time before the evening celebrations and wait. Where should we do something now?"
"Of course I won't let you stay idle, Dak." Wolfya deliberately showed a "scandal" and very cute smile, took out a brand new business card from his arms and put it in Dak's hand.
"This is the administrator of the Cruzde National Library, which is a vertically-pipe Cruzde National Library under the Federal ruling group. Of course, he also serves as the director of the Education Group. Many of the existing Cruzde historical materials and books that were recompiled, sorted and published in the Third Era can be found in it."
"I asked a lot of contact with this administrator, director, [scholar]. He promised us that we could enter the library to read materials at any time until the end of the study. But one thing is that we can't take a piece of paper out. Now..." Wolfya opened his sleeves, pulled his watch to check the time and said:
"There are up to eight hours left to meet him and talk about your thoughts on 'Plamini' and maybe you can get something new."
...
Ice-lin City, administrative district, No. 01, Ivansk Street, at the entrance of the Cruzde National Library.
In order to hurry, Dak and Wolfya did not hike through several cities, but chose to take a tram that they had hardly taken before. It took less than twenty minutes to reach the magnificent and spectacular library gate.
Although the Cruzde Federation destroyed the old empire, it either directly or indirectly destroyed a lot of scientific and technological data left over from the old empire in the two or three hundred years of the early New Yuan Dynasty.
Fortunately, as people's hatred for the old empire gradually faded, coupled with the need to fight against "unintentioned people" and the lost, several federal chief executives have continuously advocated the development and recovery of science and technology while attaching importance to education.
This chapter is not over, please click on the next page to continue reading! After a long period of technological downturn, in recent years, the Federation has finally developed a sense of rapid development from the Second Era to the Third Era. Some products of the Old Empire with relatively low technological content have been replicated one after another and applied to various fields of military and life.
During this period, the re-use of "electricity" brought a faint, but enough light to the federal humans in the long night of "unintentional people".
Since it was daytime, the library was still open to the public. The towering iron fence was open, and there were no guards on duty except for the gentleman-like humans who were scattered in and out.
Walking into the gate and stepping through the regular and clean floor tiles, the eyes of the two of them were a spacious cement road.
Looking up, Dake saw the majestic buildings that were rarely seen in the outside area.
That was the theme of the National Library. Looking up, Dake estimated to have at least 15 floors, which is more oppressive than the ten-story building in the strategic team's residence.
Fortunately, the sky was very clear on the day before Christmas, and the sun was desperately pouring into the pain and dark earth. With this as the background, the library did not seem as gloomy and terrifying as rainy days or nights.
After careful observation, Dark judged that the architectural style of the National Library in the capital did not have too much atmosphere of Cruise's old culture, but was closely related to the Steam Age.
The National Library looks square from the outside, and should be the product of cement and steel bars. Many steel frames are laid outside, not sure whether it is to support and guard against attacks from "unintentioned people" and lost people, or for the sake of expansion.
But in general, the outer layer of the library was deliberately painted with a deep black material, making the whole thing more like a command post for starting a war, and less like a place to consult information and absorb knowledge.
After entering the library, Dak and Wolfya handed the "Federal Military Member Certificate" to the fully armed library guards guarding the door for inspection, the two walked straight to the front desk.
The two were received by a young man not over 20 years old, wearing formal clothes and no tie. He was not as tall as Dake and looked thin.
The slightly handsome face was hung with a pair of round metal glasses. As soon as they saw the two of them coming, they looked up and down, and they knew the purpose of coming, and smiled:
"Are two federal military friends coming to our director?"
"Of course, he said he could meet us today. Little brother, you should know that the professional in front of you who is proficient in magic is now confused and wants to come to the library to find some information and find the answer." Wolfya said readily, and remakes Dak's back.
"Oh, understand, understand." The young man was not too surprised, but instead took a strange look. He picked up a thick notebook at the top of a stack of documents beside him, opened it from the middle, found the blank space at the end of the manual recording information, picked up the pen beside him, and quickly recorded it.
The pen tip quickly flashed across the paper. A few seconds later, the young man saw that the record was completed, and handed Dak and Wolfya a red metal card to each of them. He made a gesture of invitation and said:
"Take the simple elevator next to you and walk to the 13th floor. The director was in the small reception room as soon as he entered the door. He knew you were coming today, so he deliberately prepared and was waiting for you there."
"Thank you." Dark nodded and thanked.
Taking a cage-like manner, you can almost see the simple elevator built inside the library building. After suffering the noise pollution of metal mechanical operation for a minute, the bound small fence door was finally opened slowly, and a slightly simple and dim corridor appeared in front of the two.
Following the prompt, Wolfya stepped forward and pushed open the door of the "small reception room" that was hidden, and pulled Dak into it.
"Welcome, Mr. Wolfya, I have heard of you from Andre, the tall and brave Federation [Warrior]. When we meet today, you do have the temperament of a brave man."
Walking towards him, shaking hands and complimenting Wolfya in a complimentary tone was a middle-aged man wearing a robe with a mixed style of Cruzde and the Central Empire, wearing thick glasses, and a very clean face.
Wolfya, who was often in a state of fighting and nervousness, felt a little embarrassed when he was praised like this. He touched his head with one hand and greeted him with the other hand, and responded with a slightly embarrassed smile:
"Mr. Enorrezi, you are a bit too much praise for me. I am just an ordinary guard soldier. This, my close friend, Dark Tillis, is the veritable brave [warrior]. In recent years in Mayang City, he has been fighting with the 'sexual unintentional people', the lost people who are disobeying management, and those strange monsters. He has encountered some difficulties recently. I want to come to our library to borrow materials and answer questions."
"Oh, I don't know which information Mr. Dark wants to find. Although many of the documents we left here were compiled from the Old Empire of the Third Era and there are few materials for specific years, as long as you say the keywords, I can still find a few related books for you." Enorrezhi said with a smile.
"I have been plagued by dreams and extraordinary things related to myself lately, so I want to borrow books related to 'Pramini' and 'Lord of Eternal Chi', especially those related to the North Extreme Cold Zone," said Dark.
"Well, is there any direction?" Ainorezhi nodded and said, "There are not many books and materials related to 'Plamini' and 'Lord of Eternal Red'. I bet that if I want to finish reading it, three months will not be enough."
