Chapter 3 Novayask (Part 2)

"Is there any special statement to turn blue...?" An uncontrollable coldness suddenly rose from Wright's back, as if a high-power blower was put on the ice wind from the polar regions.

Wright knew that since he was contaminated with the ancient power of the red magic source power, his body had undergone a mutant change. His heart is indeed not a flesh-and-blood thing like humans, but instead exudes a blue light like many lost people.

But I should not be a "unintentional person". Although there are some "burning liquid" components in the blood in my body, I have not lost my consciousness after all, and I am still standing in front of these local [warriors] clearly.

The most important thing is that I have no aggression towards humans, and there is no desire for human bodies deep in my heart.

Wright felt an inexplicable danger, as if the human soldier in front of him would pull out a pitch-black rifle from the drawer in the next second, and pull the trigger on his head.

He had already imagined in his brain that his body and tentacles bite, entangle, and attack the crowd around him after his head was blown up.

If you become a lost person with a head that looks like a bloody monster, it will be enough to embarrass the few [orderers] since the Era.

However, the tall local warrior took out the rifle from the drawer, but two "passes" that had not filled in the information. Seeing that Wright was sweating coldly on his forehead, he put the "pass" aside, and a hearty laugh came out from his rough throat, saying:

"Hahaha, boy, don't be nervous. Blue doesn't mean you are the enemy. I blame me for not explaining it to you in advance. The guy 'Red Wolf' didn't tell you earlier. Well, actually... it's very rare for the test strip to turn blue. Only one of them will appear in about 100,000 people, so I was a little surprised. By the way..."

The tall local 【Soldier】 put away his serious appearance in business, took off the used Cruzder officer hat on his head, and changed into a slightly flattering tone and said:

"After chatting for a while, I forgot to introduce myself. I am the chief sergeant of the "City Guard Group" under the Novayask Strategic Corps, and I am one of the hurricanes. I was born in this newly built city, and we are also called the "Novites". My name is Levri, and I follow the city's surname, you can call me by my name."

"Okay, Levri...sir." Lyte breathed a sigh of relief and coughed a few times to relieve his itchy throat due to tension. He felt helpless:

"Please tell me directly what 'blue' means? The more you look at him, the more nervous I feel."

"Of course...of course." Levry smiled apologetically:

"This test strip is called 'Blood Note', and is a simple detection tool invented by the Federal Chief Executive, Mekjeff Khidanov, a hundred years ago. Without relying on any extraordinary power, this test strip can avoid hours of blood sampling and instead use a more time-saving way to detect the identity of the subject."

"Is it specially used to detect lost people and 'unintentioned people'? Interesting, I'll try it." Dake said curiously, and in front of several people, he also pierced his fingers and dripped blood into the test strip.

About half a minute later, the white test strip first appeared as a light yellow as sand, and then after the moisture evaporated, it turned into a light red between orange and bright red.

After handing the test strips to Levri, Dark scratched his hair and asked:

"So, what does my...red mean?"

"Average supernatural beings, well... it seems that they have been lost for a while, right?" Levry analyzed based on the information presented on the test strip.

"That's right. I... was indeed not under the jurisdiction of the federal government for a painful period. Later, I entered the escort of Mayang City and reached the current Hurricane 4th rank. However, in this way, Levri, you have to call me a rank according to the rank." Dark smiled and handed over the "Federal Military Member Certificate" printed with Cruzder's double-headed eagle badge and Vasily's signature.

Although this certificate was only updated when I passed by Binglin City a month ago, the situation in the city had begun to be in chaos at that time. Due to the shortage of supplies, the staff of the strategic team only helped him update the information and did not replace him with a new certificate.

So much so that the "Federal Military Member Certificate" that Levry holds now looks wrinkled, as if it has been soaked in water, but the handwriting and seal on it are quite clear.

"Of course, of course, I have to respect you as a sir." Levry showed a forced flattery look. He held the red-skinned document belonging to Dark in both hands and respectfully handed it back.

However, the next second, the corners of his mouth were extremely strange and exaggerated, and he grinned one side to one side, revealing his yellow-brown teeth inside, with a weird tone:

"At least, until Cruzder and the Federal Council destroyed it."

"But..." Levry's facial expression was like pressing the reset button program, and returned to normal in the moment he turned to Wright. It seemed that the exaggerated posture and sarcasm had never happened before:

"We have used the "blood tune" in the east as the only detection method. We have been using it for hundreds of years. The elites in the west don't like these. They always think this is something used by the country bumpkins.

"They will use more precise instruments called the 'radiation detection series device'. They claim to be able to detect if they are lost in a few minutes, whether they are mentally contaminated, etc. But that thing needs electric power, and the energy consumed by turning on the thing once is enough for the lights in our "Government Hall" building to turn on for one night."

"So, energy shortage, has the detection method of 'blood regulation' become the only direct way to judge my enemy in the east? Interesting." Wright smiled slightly and muttered in his heart:

This chapter is not over, please click on the next page to continue reading! "Humans, it is such an interesting race. They can use the most limited resources to create the most practical tools and splendid civilizations, and they can also use the most sufficient resources to create destruction and killing. Such civilizations do require the correct guidance of gods and creations, otherwise, destruction will be the only way out."

However, thinking of this, Wright suddenly felt a bone-wrenching fear. This strange and dangerous idea was obviously not his original intention. This thinking of treating human beings as an opposite and allowing himself to stand in a higher dimension and overlooking the human world is definitely not his.

Could it be that I was influenced by the "old power" in the "Red Illusion Relic"? Or did the guy "Lord of Eternal Red" quietly leave some kind of "arrogant divine mark" on him, or... the negative effect brought by the red magic source power? Or, the professional power of [Order] will make people gradually become...crazy, making it easier for people to overtake humans and regard themselves as the god who controls everything?

This is so terrible! It invades my thinking! It is quietly changing my worldview and affecting my cognition!

If I am influenced by this kind of thinking, then I will become arrogant and arrogant, and the heavens will perish and will make them crazy. If I become a ruler like "Ivan Twenty-Two" in the Wasteland Era, I am afraid that human civilization will be destroyed in an instant.

After all, in this era, there is no country as huge and powerful as the Cruzd Empire for these "crazy men" to toss.

It seems that after entering the city, I have to take a good rest and find some abilities or losers who are proficient in magic power and "old power" to help check the source of this weird idea.

The most terrifying thing is not the sharp blade or powerful artillery, but the silent and subtle influence of thinking...

"The different colors displayed on the 'Blood Tuning' test strip represent different identities. In fact, it is not just a tool to detect the lost." Levri's voice interrupted Wright's brief contemplation. "The blood of normal humans will be neutralized by the 'KSR-01' element in the test strip and become transparent, just like the fresh water in the ditch next to it. The psychics belonging to the Federation will appear orange or light red. But the lost ones are different. Their blood will turn into a rich red color when it drops on it. A drop of blood can show a pool of blood, which is very terrifying."

"Why?" Dark said curiously: "Why can 'blood regulation' detect the difference between the lost and the psychic?"

"That's because, 'hate towards us'." Levry replied in a low voice.

"I don't understand." Dark shrugged, saying that he was incomprehensible.

Levri coughed a few times and explained:

"The lost people have generally experienced unbearable extreme pain, and according to years of scientific research by the Federal Commission, more than 80% of the lost people have experienced human-related pain. For example, being abandoned, hurt, or being deceived... leads to them being infected with the "unintentional virus". This hatred supports them through the most dangerous period of the "unintentional virus" invading the brain, allowing them to eventually survive as the lost.

"In the subsequent experience, some lost people gradually eased this dangerous hatred and became a psychopath, one of the 'lost type', 'natural type', 'inheritance type' and 'awakening type', and were willing to recognize the identity of human beings and fight against 'unintentioned person'.

"But the other part of the lost people always have hatred for us that is difficult to eliminate. Even if they force themselves to cooperate with us, they will feel nauseous and discomfort. That's because the "hate" activated by the virus causes organic lesions in their brains, releasing toxins called "weishou". These toxins will coexist with the "burning fluid" in their bodies. While following the blood flows out of the body, they react with other chemical elements in the "blood regulation", which will appear bright red."

"So, what does my blue mean?" Wright asked again: "Please tell me directly."

"Blue means you have 'divine nature', and 'divine nature that goes straight to creation'." Levry stared at Wright's dark pupils with an extra serious expression and said:

"So, you are what our city chief Shavane is looking for - the 'Disciple'. This means that my authority cannot handle any documents for entering the city. You and Dak... the chief, you need to apply for it after entering the 'Internal Clean City'."

"Okay, we understand. Since it is the meaning of Chief Shawani, we can just obey." Dak paused, looked at the mechanical war chariot team who had been waiting here for a long time, and said:

"Take us in."

As the checkpoint gates that were like bloody mouths of huge beasts slowly fell, the mechanical warfare team drove through the messy dirt road covered with decay and sickly vegetation, and drove along the deep and tilted passage to the "clean city inside".

Seeing that Wright and Dark completely disappeared from sight, Levry slowly stood up, handed the information and test papers in his hand to the staff behind him, and walked out of the "guard booth".

"You did this well, this is your due reward." Levry said, throwing a half-new new ruble of 100 yuan to the "Red Wolf" behind him.

After picking up the banknotes and blowing away the dust on it, "Red Wolf" put it in the inner pocket of her shirt with a smile.

After hesitating for a few seconds, "Child Wolf" asked her inner doubts:

"By the way, General Levri, are these two kids really that important? Even you, an important figure who is about to be promoted to deputy chief executive of the city, came to the door of the checkpoint in person."

"It's not just me, but Chief Shawani was paying attention to them a month ago." Levri turned around, patted the broad and strong shoulders of the "Red Wolf" and said in an intriguing tone:

"'Red Wolf', there is an old saying in Khitan Ris:
