1142 Ghost Town

When I first came to this city, I didn’t feel anything was wrong. The city streets were clean and spacious, and there weren’t many people during the day. It gave me a leisurely and comfortable feeling.

But after staying for a few days, I found that it was very strange here. There were very few houses with lights on at night. It seemed that there were many empty houses. There were only deserted street lights on the streets. There were not even cats or dogs running around. It seemed that there were very few people.

gained some popularity.

There are some people on the street during the day, but they are all people with stiff facial expressions and dull eyes. There are few shops, but the bosses are very enthusiastic and the things are quite cheap.

The hotel where I stayed seemed to be in poor business. I was the only tenant. The boss only said that very few people would come here to play. The population here is also small, so business was deserted. There was no night market here at night, and all the stores were closed before it got dark.

Door. The same is true for the hotel. The boss has to close early, and he and his staff don't live in the hotel. They say they have their own home here.

Every time before the boss left, he would tell me to go to bed early. It was really scary to be alone in this empty hotel. It was dark outside, but my room was the only one with the lights on, and the TV was boring. I

So he went to bed early.

I saw this as a special experience and texted my friends that I was in a strange city, a ghost town.

One day during the day, I couldn't restrain my curiosity and walked into a residential building. There were a few households in this building with lights on every night. I suddenly wanted to visit them and listen to the stories about this city.

The building was not as clean and tidy as the street. There was a lot of garbage scattered inside, and there was a rotten smell. I covered my nose and went up to the third floor. The house on the right here always kept the lights on until very late. I

I knocked on his door gently, for fear of disturbing them.

No one responded, so I knocked on the door again, but still no one answered, so I pushed the door out of habit. The door opened, and a thick putrid smell wafted out. I almost suffocated, and I held my breath.

I walked in quietly. The furnishings in the room were simple.

I was startled when I walked to the kitchen. Let’s call this person that way. He was holding a shovel. The fire had gone out long ago. The food in the pot was also rancid. The man holding the shovel was also very rotten. But

I don't know why I can still keep standing.

I suppressed the desire to vomit and ran out. I knelt weakly on the floor of the living room. This was really weird. Then I glanced at the photo standing on the coffee table. The man turned out to be the hotel owner.

At that moment, I felt like all the blood in my body was being drained, and I rolled and crawled out in a state of embarrassment. There were a few expressionless people walking in the community, and I couldn’t help but turn my head when I saw such an embarrassment.

One person seemed to be smiling. Yes, she was smiling. I would rather not have seen that smile. It was so creepy and chilling.

This is the first time I have come to such a city. My friend called it a ghost town. He suddenly invited me to go there to find him. I went. The streets of this city are clean and spacious. There are not many people during the day, and it feels leisurely and comfortable.
