Chapter 536: Return of the Four Elephants

The four images are: Qinglong belongs to wood, white tiger belongs to gold, Suzaku belongs to fire, and Xuanwu belongs to water. Sun fire, Shaoyang wood, Taiyin water, Shaoyin metal, while earth belongs to neither Yin nor Yang, but is between Yin and Yang.

Balance Qi, or the product of the transition period from Yang to Yin.

This is the 'change' Yi theory proposed by later generations of experts on the basis of the Eight Diagrams of the Book of Changes, after the theories of Fu Xi's innate Bagua and King Wen's Houtian Bagua.

In the era of self-isolation in modern China, modern Western astrology had not yet been introduced to China, and the study of traditional Chinese numerology originally included the content of 'astrology'.

Although the application of traditional Chinese numerology in astrology is generally combined with horoscope numerology, or conversely, horoscope numerology also contains many astrological concepts, pure astrology is not used in calculating fortunes.

It is rare in traditional Chinese numerology.

Traditional Chinese numerology is therefore called the ‘Xingmingheshe’ or the ‘Xingshixue’. This is the wisdom of the ancient Chinese, which emphasizes integrated application to correct the shortcomings of a certain school of numerology.

The basic framework used to interpret astrology in Western and Indian astrology is actually based on the Chinese theory of "Four Symbols" and uses twelve constellations to interpret it. The basic framework of traditional Chinese numerology research is "the five elements are mutually reinforcing each other."

This is based on the Four Symbols, but is developed in combination with reality. It can be seen that Chinese numerology is extensive and profound, far exceeding Western astrology, and its subtleties are incomparable.

Therefore, Tai Chi generates two rituals, the two rituals generate four images, and the four images generate Bagua. The "two rituals" are "yin" and "yang". This is the traditional theory of Bagua in the Book of Changes. The ancients used fire, wood, and metal.

On the basis of the four phenomena of water, "earth", which is in the intermediate state of these four phenomena, was added, and the theory of the five elements emerged. The "four images give rise to the five elements" in the change of change came from this.

According to the theory of yin and yang, yin qi and yang qi are mutually reinforcing. The so-called 'yang is generated at the cathode, and yin is generated at the anode'. Taking the four phenomena as an example, yang qi is divided into 'wood and fire', and yin qi is divided into 'metal'.

, water'. The cycle of the four phenomena of 'wood, fire, metal, and water' is a process in which yang and yin qi are constantly dependent on each other.

'Water' is the extreme point of Yin Qi, and 'Yang generates Yang from the negative pole', so 'Water' changes into 'Wood', that is, water produces wood; Yang Qi continues to rise and changes into 'Fire', that is, wood produces fire; 'Fire' is Yang

At the extreme point of Qi, 'anode generates yin', so 'fire' becomes 'gold', that is, fire generates metal; Yin Qi continues to rise and changes into 'water', that is, metal generates water.

The sequence and rules of the changes of yin and yang in the four images (wood, fire, metal, and water) have been established, and the general laws of the change of things have been established. The change of the four images, repeated over and over, is the general law of the development and change of things.

However, if things are general, they must be special. Just like the rotation of the earth, it can be said that it is roughly eternal, but the future of things on the earth, especially the respective fates of people and various animals and plants, is uncertain.

There are rules. For example, it is assumed that the average life span of a person can reach 80 years old, but not everyone can live to be 80 years old.

Therefore, when it comes to balancing the four elements, ‘earth’ has become an important component throughout, as the saying goes, ‘earth dominates the palace’.

‘Earth’ is Tai Chi, which can separate Yin and Yang. From this, in the theory of Four Symbols, the theory of ‘Four Symbols give rise to the Five Elements’ was born.

In the Five Elements, "earth" is Tai Chi, which is divided into two elements, namely Yin and Yang (can also be said to be Yin Earth and Yang Earth), and Yin and Yang are divided into four phenomena, namely "wood, fire, metal, and water".

When ‘earth’ is not divided into two parts, it is ‘tai chi’.

When 'soil' is divided into two parts, it becomes 'yin and yang', or it can be said to be 'yin soil' and 'yang soil', which means that even if 'soil' is divided into 'yin and yang', it still continues to run through it.

.

'Earth' can be divided into four parts: 'wood, fire, metal, and water', which is the four elements of Tai Chi (yin and yang); 'wood, fire, metal, and water' can be combined into 'earth', which is the unified return of the four elements.

Tai Chi, this is the essence and essence of the Five Elements Theory.

Zhang Yuanshan's theory made the other three people confused and confused.

Li Bing interrupted Zhang Yuanshan and said: "Brother Zhang, we have never learned Taoism, how can we know so much? Just tell us how to enter the Tomb of the Five Elements!"

Zhang Yuanshan said cheerfully: "Okay, then I will tell you the key to cracking the mechanism of this ancient tomb! Think about it, since after the White Tiger and the Seven Evils gathered together, the soul of the White Tiger got into the huge stone to the west. This

What are you hinting at? It is to let the Qinglong, Suzaku, and Xuanwu Qi that enter Li Bing's body also enter these four boulders according to their respective positions."

"These four huge stones represent the four elephants, which are the mechanisms that open the tomb of the Five Elements. As long as the four elephants return to their positions, they will combine into earth. What does the earth represent in this powerful ancient tomb?

That must be the fine sand filling it. Therefore, I think that as long as the four elephants return to their positions, the fine sand will inevitably flow from the ancient tomb, and we can enter the ancient tomb."

Li Bing and the other three tasted it carefully and were all overjoyed.

Li Bing asked: "Brother Zhang, now that the soul of the white tiger has returned to its place, what should I do with the other three in my body? You can't possibly divide me into five pieces, right?"

Zhang Yuanshan chuckled and said: "Of course that's impossible. If you die, who will complete the process of cracking the Qianling Mausoleum? We are all your helpers, and you are the only one who is destined to do it."

Everyone was worried. Shi Liya blinked and said, "Li Bing, have you ever visited the Sheji Altar in Zhongshan Park, Beijing?"

Li Bing smiled awkwardly: "Sister Shi, before I met you, I had been studying seriously, and I really didn't have time to have fun."

Shi Liya whispered: "For ancient Chinese buildings, Feng Shui must be observed before construction. I visited the Sheji Altar in Zhongshan Park, Beijing. It was built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The top layer of the Sheji Altar is paved with five-color soil: green soil in the east and green soil in the west.

The soil is white, the south is red soil, the north is black soil, and the middle is yellow soil. I heard from the tour guide that the soil on the four sides represents the green dragon, white tiger, basalt, and red bird respectively, and the yellow soil in the middle represents the descendants of Yan and Huang."

Li Bingruo realized something and said with admiration: "Sister Shi, I really admire your historical knowledge and previous life experiences. I understand what you mean, that is to say, as long as we find another three corresponding

The green dragon, the red bird, and the Xuanwu colored things, then the other three divine beasts can come out of my body and enter these other three huge rocks, and the four elephants can return to their places!"

Shi Liya nodded and said: "Li Bing, that's what I meant. I just didn't know if it would work, so I said it for your reference."
