Chapter Thirty-One: You Can Always Trust the Lex Group

"I'm sorry, Master..." Seeing the woman leaving the ward, Paul spoke, furious.

He could even write an autobiography called Paul's Tragic Diary of what he encountered these days.

"The time has come to bear witness to your faithfulness, Paul."

"Yes, please do whatever you want. Your loyal servant will do everything for you." Paul sat up from the bed with difficulty and said flatteringly.

After saying that, he regretted it. There were some things he really couldn't do.

"About twenty years ago, a meteorite landed in Metropolis." Arthur paused, turned slightly, and saw a bald head: "I want to know where that thing is now."

"Are you looking for that meteorite?" Paul breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, he didn't make too many demands.

"From what I can tell, that meteorite is now in the Metropolitan Museum of Natural History."

"I know what I'm looking for is something deeper."

"I'm sorry, Master, please forgive my stupidity, I don't understand what you are looking for?" Paul was confused. The meteorite that landed in the Metropolis is indeed in the Metropolitan Museum.

"Use your authority and investigate carefully." Arthur turned around and narrowed his eyes slightly: "Are you eavesdropping?"

Looking at the phone that had been hung up, Paul smiled bitterly, check? How?

He already said that the meteorite is in the museum.

I don’t believe it…

"Eavesdropping?" The bald man took a few steps forward and said calmly: "I don't like this word. Besides, this is my company, and everything in this building belongs to me."

"You came to the roof of the company without permission. Don't you think you should give me a reasonable explanation?"

Looking at each other for a long time, Arthur broke the silence: "Lex? Lex Luthor."

"Yes." Luthor adjusted his suit and nodded in confirmation: "Just like what you saw on the Internet and media programs, the real Lex Luthor."

"So, you destroyed the fire door just to get a clearer view of the scenery?" he said sarcastically.

"Smart." Arthur said without changing his tone: "It seems that your bald head is as smart as the TV said."

"This is not a compliment." Luther's face remained unchanged: "You should go to school to learn more. Now you no longer need money or academic qualifications to audit at Metropolitan University."

"If you want to rebuild, Lex Group can provide free funding. I believe this will not affect the company's foundation."

"If you have the heart to help others, you might as well rectify the company and investigate corruption within the company." Arthur said mercilessly: "I have never seen a building that cuts corners like the Lex Group."

"Do you think I destroyed the fire door? On the contrary, I just pushed it gently, using less force than crushing an ant."

"Very good, I like the way you talk." Luther didn't want to engage in boring exchanges anymore: "Are you checking that meteorite? It just so happens that I'm also a little interested in it."

Twenty years ago, he was just a child, and his knowledge of this matter was limited to newspapers and verbal reports from the housekeeper.

When I grew up, I was busy in the company and tried to learn about it, but I found that meteorites do exist.

The matter was forgotten and settled.

He happened to hear Arthur talking to a stranger, which brought back memories in his mind and aroused the desire to explore deep in his heart.

"Interest?" Looking at the mortal enemy of Superman in front of him, Arthur said slowly: "Just interest?"

"Yes, it's just interest." Luther shrugged: "It's the interest you aroused."

"I can find out some information, do you want to follow me?"

Looking at Luther's back, Arthur chuckled and followed.

"Okay, guys, I want to occupy this room temporarily." Luther walked into the R&D department, which was filled with various advanced technologies.

"Can everyone please go out for a while?"

The scientific researcher left obediently and closed the door. Arthur walked up to him. Luther turned to Arthur and smiled confidently: "Don't worry, you can always trust Lex Group Technology."

With his fingers dancing on the keyboard, Luther entered one command after another.

Soon, a red exclamation mark appeared on the computer screen. He was not worried at all: "Civil search engines can't find anything. We have to enter the government system. Look at my..."

a long time…

A series of warnings indicate that Luther has failed. The government has its own set of firewalls, which are even more advanced than his Lex Group technology.

"Please, don't let me lose face." Luther gritted his teeth and tried to crack it again.

"Lex Luthor, you are illegally attacking government systems, please stop immediately." A person's avatar appeared on the computer screen, warning Luthor.

"It's you, Cyborg." Luther looked directly at the man, very angry.

"Once again, please stop immediately to avoid legal sanctions."

"Okay, okay." Luther reluctantly stopped and stopped invading the government system, and Cyborg disappeared.

"Hmm?" Arthur looked at Luther who was embarrassed and wanted to find a crack to get in, and joked: "You can always trust the Lex Group."

Patted him on the shoulder: "Never say too much, leave yourself a way out, because you don't know what will happen in the future."

Watching Arthur leave, Luther kicked the computer equipment violently.

It has cost a lot of money and manpower. Now even a government system cannot be hacked.

Waste! All waste! A bunch of waste.

Fortunately, he was confident before...

"Master, where are you going next?" the maid looked forward, secretly looking at Arthur with the rearview mirror, and asked carefully.

"Go to the Museum of Natural History." Arthur adjusted his sitting position and said calmly.

The maid nodded, drove the car skillfully, turned a few streets, and stopped steadily in front of the museum.

I got off the car, straightened my suit, and walked into the museum alone with a gentle smile on my face.

The collection is dazzling, including all kinds of rare animals, plant specimens, and astronomical machinery.

Going straight to the meteorite area and observing each one, Arthur quickly discovered the meteorite that fell in the metropolis.

He placed his palms gently on the glass of the exhibit, thinking about how to get him home.

If it was really discovered during that "meteorite" crisis, there must be green kryptonite in it.

"Sir?" A female voice sounded from behind, interrupting Arthur's thoughts.

"Do you need any help?" The commentator asked doubtfully, "I see you have been looking at this meteorite."

"I'm sorry, ma'am." Arthur said, "My family died in that meteorite rain."

"Oh..." The commentator was surprised and realized that he had said something wrong. He put his right palm up in front of his mouth and said motherly: "Sorry..."

"You don't have to apologize ma'am."

"You must have suffered a lot," the commentator said in a gentle tone.

"It's nothing, I can handle it." Arthur smiled and spread his hands.

"Amazing..." She was infected by the perseverance of the big boy in front of her.

"By the way, madam, do you know when the museum..." Arthur said politely: "I want to stay longer."
