Chapter Nine The Real Ghost

"Oh! No! He shouldn't be here!" Mir said, standing in the crowded crowd.

Chris sat in the carriage and touched his delicate red curly hair with some doubts. He didn't know why Mil jumped out of the carriage in a hurry.

Before Mir got out of the car, Chris vaguely noticed that Mir's expression revealed a look of panic. He thought that Mir must have seen something he shouldn't have seen, otherwise he would never have even said hello.

With a skeptical attitude, Chris walked forward and sat in Mir's original seat. He tried to test Mir's state and posture after he finished speaking, and subconsciously glanced out the window.

"Damn! Why is he here?" Chris stared in surprise at the unbelievable sight.

He couldn't imagine what would happen in the next scene, why Ian's soul appeared in the port of New Orleans, whether Ian was sending Alina or coming to him, Chris couldn't make a judgment, he could only get out of the car.

Find Mir.

As Ian disappeared outside the window instantly, Chris quickly rushed out of the carriage. He saw the huge crowd around the carriage blocking the wide road.

Chris's ears were immersed in the noise of people, which was noisier than the calls of migratory birds on the Mississippi River. He could not see Mill's figure or the police officers who were following him in the crowded crowd.

Even for Alina and her daughter, it seemed that the crowd had dispersed them.

Chris had to choose to stand at the footrest of the carriage. He looked into the distance, but still couldn't see their shadow.

Chris looked at the French people who were about to evacuate under his feet. This place was already under the jurisdiction of the Federation, and he would also evacuate soon.

"A lot of people will get on the same boat tonight, hey, I don't know if I can fit them all." Chris sighed in a low voice.

Chris didn't know when Mir appeared next to him. He shouted: "Mil, have you found them?"

"No, I didn't find them. I thought they might have boarded the ship first." Mir looked at the crowd that he hated and shouted: "Chris, it's too noisy here. Do you know where these people come from?"

Where are they going now?"

"Since France sold Louisiana to the Union, all the French nobles in Louisiana have received orders from the emperor and they have to rush back to France."

Chris did not hear Mir's answer. He continued: "Only the nobles and officials have received the order. Most of the French people can continue to live here, or they can choose to leave."

When Chris noticed that Mir was in a state of indifference, he asked Mir: "Are you looking for Alina and the others?"

"No, I'm looking for Ian. I saw Ian's soul on that window." Mir pointed out to Chris.

After Mir jumped off the carriage, Chris told Mir what he saw: "Before he disappeared, I seemed to have seen him. What exactly he came for, I don't know."

"I don't know either. Let's go find Alina and the others first. We must first ensure their safety."

Chris nodded and said, "Yes, I hope Ian's soul has no ill intentions towards them."

"I hope so," Mill said.

Mir and Chris shuttled among the crowds, and Chris followed closely behind Mir. If he lost track of Mir, if he wanted to find Mir, he would have to stay somewhere and wait quietly for dawn.

They crossed the crowd and were completely unable to determine the direction of the port. However, when they came to the end of the crowd, Mir saw a dilapidated carriage in the distance. He was extremely impressed by that carriage.

Not only did Mir ride in it, but he was also whipped by the strange wind in this carriage, especially the two windows with huge holes and the incomprehensible and flexible soldier.

"Chris, look! That carriage!" Mill pointed at the carriage in front and shouted.

"Yes, I saw it too, but I didn't see Alina and the others." Chris replied.

"They've probably already boarded the boat. At least I saw Cole Miller." Mir urged: "Move quickly, Chris!"

"I'm already leaving."

Chris knew the true identity of Cole Miller. He reminded Miller: "Mil, there is something I have to tell you. Next time you greet Cole with as much respect as possible."

"Why?"

"He is Andre Massena's godson. I don't care what your relationship is with Alina. If you don't want Cole to use some despicable means between the two of you, I advise you to be smarter.

"Chris said in an extremely serious tone.

"no problem."

"Oh! No!" Mir exclaimed: "Ian's soul is really on that boat!"

This surprised Mir. Ian had been following Alina. He didn't know what Ian wanted to do. Mir ran desperately towards the ship.

"What?"

When Chris saw Mir running away, he was shocked and said: "Oh, my God! Hasn't God already taken away his soul?"

Mir and Cole passed each other. He felt that Alina would be in danger. He didn't bother to say hello to Cole and immediately jumped on the boat to prevent Alina and Ian from embracing.

Unexpectedly, Ian's soul dissipated on the spot, leaving Mil in vain. At the same time, Chris also rushed over. He immediately supported Alina who was about to fall and said: "Mil, go to the cabin quickly.

Looking for Lady Rosalie, I fear she is also in great danger."

Chris's words were heard by Cole, and he asked Mir and Chris to stay here, so Cole took off the small-caliber flintlock gun from his waist and carefully walked into the cabin with the gun.

Mir saw Cole entering the cabin. He stood at the sail and kept looking into the distance. Mir did see Ian at the window of the carriage. He originally thought that Ian's soul was real, but he was surprised.

The observant Mir saw a flaw.

On the face on the glass, Ian has slight freckles on both sides of his nose. Although his skin is white, you can still see it if you look closely.

However, the most important thing is that there is a mole at the junction of Ian's upper eyelid and eyebrow. When Mir saved Ian, he could not be sure whether the freckles on his face existed because of Ian's skin color.

Identify what it is.

The mole alone, if exposed, shows that Ian's soul is fake.

Chris couldn't wake up the sleeping Alina at the moment. He was confused by Ian's behavior and asked: "Mil, why did Ian do this?"

"He's not Ian."

After Mir answered Chris's question, when he was about to climb up a section, he saw a naked woman standing upright behind the huge crowd, her long golden curly hair hanging down on her waist, her back

She is slender, straight, smooth, and white, and the same goes for her legs. The most abrupt thing is her firm butt, which is like a boulder on the mountain.

"What? It's not Ian, then who is he?"

Mir did not answer Chris's words. He pointed directly into the distance and said: "Chris, the real ghost! She is there! Go and catch it!"
