Chapter Thirty: Lisa's Thoughts
Martin left the room. Mir began to dislike Martin a little now. His long-winded mouth seemed to be more annoying than Vincent's big mouth. Although he was helpless, this was his own choice and decision.
He sat quietly on the sofa, enjoying the sound of the rain pouring in the air. He didn't understand the pleasantness that Chris said.
Mir stretched his body and lay there, and before he knew it, he fell asleep.
He dreamed that a ghost appeared in the hotel. While the ghost was wandering, he found Lisa, who was picking vegetables in the kitchen.
But Lisa didn't notice. Lisa pursed her lips, and a low Ivory Coast accent came from her mouth, chattering non-stop.
She wanted to leave the New Orleans Hotel, and she also wanted to leave her boss. Although the hotel boss would often reprimand her, she would occasionally receive the boss's considerate love, which made it difficult for her to decide.
The boss has his own wife, and she is just his mistress in his heart. She is worried that the boss's wife will find out one day, and her end will be even more tragic than Carat's.
Lisa wiped her hands, then ran to a counter and wrote her address on a piece of paper. She was not sure whether the detective could help her get out of here.
While Lisa was fantasizing, the boss stood quietly behind her. She felt someone behind her and immediately turned around, seeing a sinister smile on the corner of her mouth as the boss looked at her.
Lisa screamed, and the boss turned into a ghost for an instant. In her panic, the ghost went directly through her chest.
Lisa's heartbeat suddenly stopped and she fell to the ground with a plop. The note in her hand fell gently in a strange arc.
Lisa still said: "Kara..."
"Bang bang bang..."
Mir was awakened by the knocking on the door and stood at the door very quickly. Hearing that the knocking sound was every three times, he opened the door immediately.
Seeing Lisa standing at the door of the room safe and sound, Mir finally felt relieved.
"Come in, Miss Lisa." Mir said in welcome.
Lisa bowed extremely politely and said, "Thank you, sir."
Lisa walked into the room, took out the note from her pocket, handed it to Mir, and then she slowly walked to the bed.
"Sir, I'm asking you to help me." Lisa took off her apron and said, "I don't want to die, I want to get out of here."
Mir knew what Lisa wanted to do next, so he stopped her and said, "Wait a minute, Miss Lisa."
Mir said: "I can help you, Miss Lisa, and ensure your safety. You must follow my arrangements."
"Thank you, sir, for adding a title after my name. I know you never discriminate against anyone." Lisa continued to take off her apron and said, "Sir, I don't know how to repay you. I can only use my
It’s worth it to use my body to warm your burning heart.”
At this time, Martin rushed to the door. He unexpectedly saw Lisa taking off her top, which shocked him.
Mir also saw Martin. He spread his hands and said, "Martin, please believe me, I didn't do anything to her."
"Yes, sir, I won't disturb your pleasure. I didn't see anything." Martin said with a smile and immediately closed the door.
Mir could no longer stop Lisa's next move. After he sighed deeply, his temper became extremely violent.
"Damn! Lisa! Get out of there!" Mir roared: "Otherwise you won't get any help from me!"
Lisa stopped moving, she turned her head, tears rolled down her cheeks easily, and she sobbed hard.
"Sir, do you dislike me? Or do you hate me?" Lisa said.
"Stupid woman!" Mir said with suppressed anger, "I don't want you to let yourself down."
"Please put on your clothes! Miss Lisa." Mir said, pointing to the messy clothes on the ground.
Lisa wiped the corners of her eyes and said, "Thank you very much. You are an upright commander, different from those guys."
"them?"
"Yes, sir, I dare not say."
In order to prove his innocence, Mill opened the door and found Martin's ear at the door listening, but he didn't care at all.
"Sir, I have to admire you." Martin praised: "On such a warm night, sir, you are indifferent to your plump body."
"Watch your mouth first, Martin." Mill said: "Although you look like Ian, you can't be compared with him."
Lisa got dressed, and Mir asked her to sit on a chair next to the table. Mir tried to stay away from Lisa. He was worried that Lisa might do something unexpected to Mir.
"Say it, Lisa."
Lisa put the address on the table and said, "Sir, as long as you help me leave the hotel or New Orleans, I will tell you everything about Clark."
Mir does want to know some things about Carat, but not everything. All information that is not related to the case is of no use to Mir.
When did she die, did she say anything before she died, and where was she buried.
"I can promise you." Mir nodded and said.
Lisa said bluntly: "What do you want to know?"
"What did Clark say to you before he died?" Mir asked.
"After the incident at the hotel, Clara and I didn't come here, and there was nothing unusual about her expression." Lisa thought for a moment and said, "However, the next day, she told me that she saw a man at the intersection last night.
A woman is a woman without clothes."
"What happened next?"
"She was so scared, she wanted to leave New Orleans, and she said the woman was the murderer in the hotel," Lisa said.
This is exactly what Mir expected, it is the female ghost.
"Is there anything else?" Mir asked.
"I found Clara when she was dying. I was very scared at the time. I didn't see the woman she was talking about." Lisa said: "She only said Ivory Coast."
"Ivory Coast?" Mir murmured.
After Lisa left, Mir needed a map. He seemed to know exactly where the Ivory Coast was.
Mir continued to ask: "Well...where is the carat buried?"
"After she died, I found Father Cavendish. According to his request, I found a few strong men to bury Carat at No. 1 Lafayette."
"She was buried next to this person," Lisa said, pointing to the bed.
This surprised Mill. The witch that night was most likely not looking for Ian, but probably for Clara. Fortunately, Father Cavendish arrived that day.
"Thank you very much, Miss Lisa." Mir said, "Don't go home tonight. Just stay in the hotel, in the ballroom area on the first floor. My people are there to ensure your safety."
"Thank you sir, can I go?"
Lisa seemed to be in a hurry now, and Mil thought she might be worried that the boss couldn't find her and would continue to scold her.
Mir shrugged and said, "Of course, you can leave at any time, because your answer makes me very satisfied."
