Chapter Thirty-Six Into a Mystery
Mill signaled Martin to shut up, let him fill up his ammunition, and was about to kick in the door and break into the storage room.
With a bang, Martin kicked hard. The door of the storage room could not withstand Martin's strong force. The whole door flew out and hit the wall. Then with a bang, the wooden door fell to the floor and made a loud sound.
Muffled sound.
Martin began to rush in, and Mir quickly followed. He held the door that was about to fall down with one hand, and raised the oil lamp with the other hand to illuminate every corner of the room as much as possible.
They saw the window swinging back and forth and making a creaking sound, and then the door downstairs made the same sound.
"Close it quickly! Martin!" Mir felt the violent flow of wind at the door of the storage room.
Martin ran over and closed the window tightly. He asked in surprise: "Sir, who could open the window?"
"I don't know. It's very likely that this window was open when I came here." Mir said: "Let's go, Martin, take a look downstairs first, and then leave here and go to the next place. I will send China tomorrow."
De Ru and his men are responsible for staying here."
Martin nodded and followed Mir downstairs. They wandered around the kitchen and bathroom and left the house without finding anything.
Martin followed Mir back the same way, but he felt that someone was following him behind him, so he looked back every few steps to check.
In the middle of the rugged path, Martin looked back again. He saw a bright light in the distance, and then it went out again.
"Sir! Just now I saw the light in the room brighten and then go out." Martin pointed to Mir.
Mir followed the direction pointed by Martin, and he saw that the room was Carat's, but there was a black claw on the glass, which suddenly disappeared in an instant.
Mir believed that the guy in the room had escaped, but he didn't know where she would escape to. He couldn't care about things here now, because the two corpses of Lafayette 1 were still waiting for him to check.
Mir and Martin continued riding to Lafayette One, which was not very far from Lafayette One.
After a while, they arrived there, and they tied the horses to the nearby fence. Mill took the oil lamp and walked towards the deepest part of Lafayette, and Martin followed closely with the tools.
Mir was already very familiar with the terrain here. He found the place Lisa described, next to where Ian was buried. He believed Lisa died unjustly.
Mill told Martin that it was best to cover his mouth and nose with a handkerchief because he was worried that the smell of the corpse would stick to his nostrils. After Martin hesitated for a while, he did so.
Martin handed Mir a digging tool, and they began to dig the soil above Lisa and Clara respectively.
After about a few minutes, the body gradually emerged from the surface. In order not to damage the body, they continued to dig around the body.
When the corpses were completely exposed, Mir squatted next to the corpses and began to carefully observe whether there were any injuries on their bodies.
Mir saw that the physical features on the bodies of Lisa and Clara were almost identical to Ian's, and Mir was convinced that the murderer was the same ghost.
After the death of Lisa and Clara, who buried their bodies? At this point, Mir thought it might be the owner of the hotel, or the Lisa in the hotel was fake, or even twins. He really believed
Can't think of a second person.
Mir deduced based on the hotel owner's testimony - I spent a lot of money on her, so the possibility of twins is extremely high.
Mir made an assumption at the scene. If the dream was real, the boss would not have time to leave the hotel to bury Lisa's body. There is almost a complete conflict in time, and even a ghost cannot do this.
He now concluded that the owner of the hotel was very suspicious. He seemed to be considering murder. The real Lisa must have posed some kind of threat to the boss, or had some kind of emotional entanglement with the fake Lisa, or maybe
She is not Lisa.
Mir now needs to clear his mind and find favorable evidence so that Chris can arrest them.
"What is the hotel owner hiding? What is the relationship between him and the ghost?" Mir muttered.
Martin saw Mir's expression full of doubts. He ran to Mir's side in fear and asked: "Sir, are there any new discoveries?"
"Nothing was found. I just can't figure out who transported them here and buried them," Mir said.
This was the first time Martin saw the horrific corpses. He pretended to be brave and looked at them like Mill.
"Well...Sir, I think there must be a third person, their friend, or someone else in the hotel." Martin said using his imagination.
Mir nodded and said: "Although these people are indeed very suspicious, we cannot make random guesses without any basis. The clues of this murder case are already very confusing, and more and more people will be involved."
"Bury it, Martin."
After they buried the bodies, they walked out of Lafayette One with extremely slow steps.
"Sir, where should we go next? Back to the hotel?" Martin asked.
"Wait a minute." Mir said, "I have always been thinking about a question. That person may be an accomplice of the ghost, interfering with our clues."
Martin turned his head, glanced at the burial location and said, "Sir, this matter has become too complicated now. All I can say is that it's best to start with the original plan."
According to Martin, his busy work will be in vain. However, important clues related to the case cannot be discarded, and the case may have an unexpected turning point.
"Okay, let's proceed according to the original plan."
Mir thought for a while and said: "Martin, I have a task here, are you qualified for it?"
"Of course." Martin pointed forward and said, "As long as you don't come to a ghost place like this to stand guard."
"You have to follow the hotel owner tonight." Mir said, "However, you need to pay attention to the women around him."
"Women?" Martin asked.
"Yes, a person named Lisa." Mir said.
Martin said in disbelief: "What? Lisa? Isn't she dead?"
"I'm not sure yet." Mir looked into the depths of Lafayette and said, "The woman next to Cara may or may not be Lisa. Can you understand?"
Martin's mind is a little confused now, almost confused. He can no longer tell who is who.
"Oh my God!" Martin exclaimed, "Sir, who is Lisa? You confused me!"
"Let me put it another way." Mir sighed deeply and said: "The name of the woman who died next to Clara may not be the real Lisa. The real Lisa should still be alive. She just gave Lisa's name to her."
Gave it to that woman."
The more Martin listened, the more confused he became, and he couldn't make anything clear at all.
"Sir, you mean to say that that woman is not the real Lisa, and her name is not Lisa. The real Lisa is in the hotel, or the real Lisa is still alive, but she just didn't show up."
Martin finally cleared his mind and said, "Am I right, sir?"
"You're great!" Mir nodded happily and said, "You're right, Martin."
