Chapter 53: The Messenger of the Gods

The man was tall and stout, even stronger than Martin. He stood at the door and looked at the people in the house and said: "I will leave here in a moment, but there are still a few people in this house who have not shown up."

."

"Oh! No! I want you to leave from here now!" Chris frowned and said, "What are you looking at?"

"There is a pretty girl in the house," the man said.

Chris was bursting with anger, and around his body, there was a faint black mist: "Don't try to get her idea! Yaheng Ram."

Ya Heng was disdainful when faced with Chris's roar. He mocked and said: "Please put away your arrogance, Inspector Louis. You know it is of no use to me."

Ya Heng pointed at the evil energy that Chris was about to gather, and focused his fiery eyes on Chris's chest. Then, the black mist emanating around Chris disappeared inexplicably.

Chris felt an unprecedented huge force controlling his evil energy, which made Chris feel stunned.

Chris raised his head and stared at Yaheng ferociously and said: "Damn it! What did you do to me?"

"I am purifying your mind, Inspector Louis." Ya Heng put down his finger and said, "You are really angry."

Chris' face was pale and he was breathing heavily. He felt like he was about to die in Yaheng's hands. He thought Yaheng was an extremely powerful wizard or controller.

He had never seen Yaheng take action in front of him. Before, when Paulina was being interrogated, Yaheng came to the French police station to pick Paulina up and leave.

Yaheng, like Paulina, is usually kind and disguised, and occasionally seems to be unsociable and not good at talking. In fact, they always give people an approachable appearance and approach each other with purpose. As for what they want to do, no one knows

Know.

"Ya Heng! No!" Chris shouted loudly.

Ya Heng walked into the house and listened to Chris standing there shouting. He completely ignored it and ran towards Matilda.

"My God! You are like a beautiful elf." Yaheng observed Matilda closely and said: "I saw that rainbow, which was almost the same as what was on Aida Vidu, more like

Like an angel."

Matilda looked panicked and took a few steps back timidly. Her body leaned tightly against the unlit fireplace and her mouth moved in fear.

"Please...please don't come over!" Matilda shouted.

Ya Heng still stood there, looking at Matilda again and said: "No wonder Paulina wants to be friends with you. If you can come to my hometown, then I will definitely treat you warmly."

"When you get to the altar, everyone in your hometown will worship you as a god." Ya Heng raised his head and raised his arms and shouted.

Mir came out with three cups of brewed coffee and asked: "Who are you?"

Ya Heng put down his arms and turned his head to look at Mir. He found that Mir looked even more beautiful than Matilda. This kind of beauty was mixed with the handsomeness of a man.

Especially Mir's eyes, Ya Heng was trapped in them and couldn't extricate himself for a long time.

"Hey! Who are you?"

"What are you doing here?"

"Are you a villain?"

While he was intoxicated, a few angry voices interrupted his meditation.

"No, I am not a villain, I am a messenger of the gods, Mr. Handsome." Ya Heng said after coming back to his senses.

"I don't care who you are, please go out first." Mir looked at Matilda, then at Chris and said, "Do you want me to invite you to drink tea at the police station?"

Ya Heng rolled his eyes and said, "I'll just say a word and leave, okay?"

"I don't want to hear anything you say. As a messenger of the gods, you are too verbose." Mir refused.

Yaheng closed his eyes and sighed deeply. The feeling of being rejected was extremely uncomfortable.

When Yaheng raised his finger again, Chris shouted: "Mir! Take Matilda and get out of here!"

"Get her out of here, Mir!"

“It’s so noisy!!!”

After Ya Heng finished speaking, he pointed his finger at Chris's back, and with a plop, Chris' body instantly fell on the stone road at the door.

"Brother!" Matilda exclaimed when she saw Chris crawling on the stone road struggling painfully.

"The messenger of the gods actually did something that made the gods angry!" Mir gritted his teeth, his lips trembled slightly, and the anger in his heart immediately rushed out.

Then when Ya Heng pointed his finger at Mir, he found that his power suddenly had no effect.

He looked at his hand with great confusion, then at Mir who was safe and sound, and asked in surprise: "Who are you?"

"I am a detective!" Mill roared: "Please remember my name, I am Detective Edward!"

Mir immediately picked up a cup of steaming coffee on the table and poured it directly onto Yaheng's hand, and also splashed onto other parts of Yaheng's body.

"ah!!!"

Yaheng screamed and wailed a few more times, the sound resounded throughout the room. He grimaced in pain, then squatted down and kept rubbing his hands.

"You are the devil! You are the devil!" Ya Heng shouted in pain.

"I'm not a devil, I'm a detective." Mir looked at Ya Heng indifferently and said.

Ya Heng originally thought that he controlled the powerful power given by the gods and could lay them down in minutes. When they fell asleep or were injured, Paulina could tie them up and take them back to their hometown for sacrifice.

What surprised Ya Heng was that Mir's appearance and power had no effect on him, as if Mir was the god or the messenger of the god.

"Why?" Yaheng endured the severe pain and stood up to ask.

"The reason is very simple. You have been doing evil." Mir sat on the chair and said: "You don't have any kindness, so the gods will not help you."

"Is this considered advice?" Ya Heng asked.

"Well... you can think so." Mir said in an old man's tone.

Mir never thought that Yaheng's power could not do any harm to him. Even he couldn't figure out why. It was most likely that there was a bug when he traveled through time.

"Detective Edward." The pain and burning sensation on Ya Heng's body began to become numb, and he said, "I have remembered it."

"Thank you." Mir pointed to the coffee on the table and said politely: "Do you need a drink?"

Ya Heng glanced down and said, "No, thank you."

Mir looked at the dense blisters on Yaheng's body. Although Yaheng's skin was dark, the blisters on his hands and thighs showed the luster of rain and dew, crystal clear.

Mir shrugged and said, "Your politeness came too late. If it had been just now or a few minutes ago, I would never have done this to you."

"Wait." Yaheng just turned around and wanted to leave the house, but unexpectedly, he was stopped by Mir.

Ya Heng slowly turned around, looking at Mir carefully, and then at the cup of coffee in Mir's hand, worried that he would be hurt again.

"Don't worry, Detective Edward, there's nothing wrong with him, he's just asleep." Ya Heng seemed to understand what Mir meant based on the direction of Mir's eyes.
