Chapter 353 Tianbao Period

Chen Jing carefully checked the information about the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty.

However, the information that can be found online is indeed not detailed enough. After reading it for a long time, Chen Jing roughly found some things that can be considered major events or involve well-known figures during the Tianbao period.

First, in the first year of Tianbao, Li Bai worshipped the Hanlin Academy, followed by the fourth year of Tianbao, the second newspaper of Hua and Xia was born, and then in the sixth year of Tianbao, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang named Yishan Huangshan and expanded the Huaqing Palace.

After seven years of Tianbao, the famous monk Jianzhen traveled to Nihong for the fifth time. In the eighth year of Tianbao, Cen Shen went to the west.

Then there was the Ten Years of Tianbao, and the Battle of Talas occurred. The Abbasid Dynasty and the Allies defeated the Tang Dynasty soldiers led by Gao Xianzhi. At this point, the papermaking techniques of Hua and Xia were spread to Central Asia and other places.

Then the Anshi Rebellion in Tianbao's 14th year began.

A year later, in the fifteenth year of Tianbao, An Lushan was called Emperor of Dayan in Luoyang. In June, the Mawei Post changed. The six armies did not blame the imperial concubine for harming the country and should be punished.

Emperor Xuanzong of Tang had no choice but to give Yang Yuhuan to death.

At this point, Yang Guifei, one of the four beauties, looked back and smiled and was so charming, was sentenced to death at the foot of Mawei Slope.

Bai Juyi also wrote about this in "Song of Everlasting Sorrow": "The six armies have no choice but to die in front of the horse without causing any attack."

Chen Jing only felt a headache when he looked at the events that happened during the Tianbao period.

Because a lot of major events did happen, but in the eleventh year of Tianbao, there was really nothing that could be written in history.

However, in the first year of Tianbao, Li Bai worshipped the Hanlin Academy, which involved another clue given by the God of Treasure Appraisal. However, the problem was that time was not up to par.

If this happened in Tianbao 11th year, then Chen Jing could infer the direction in depth.

However, even if time doesn't match, it provides Chen Jing with ideas. He thought to himself: "Li Bai is also a person who existed in the Tianbao period. Perhaps these two clues should be read in a series of ways."

"Maybe these two clues refer to what Li Bai did in Tianbao's eleventh year, and that thing is closely related to where Die is."

Chen Jing's eyes were full of thoughts, but he also had some excitement and expectation.

If his thinking is fine, then tomorrow, as long as you talk to Professor Chen in detail about what Li Bai did in Tianbao 11th year, anything that involves Chang'an, the place may be where Die is.

"If this is the case, that would be great."

…………

The next day, Chen Jingzhi went to Professor Chen's house.

"You guy came early enough, so interested in Li Bai?" Professor Chen said with some amusement after opening the door.

Chen Jingying said: "I have been free for the past two days, so of course I have to hurry up and learn from you, Master."

Afterwards, Chen Jing hurried into the house, made hot tea for his master first, and then couldn't wait to pull him down and start talking about Li Bai's life while drinking tea.

Professor Chen took a sip of tea and told Li Bai's life: "Li Bai's ancestral home is Chengji, Longxi. He was born in the Western Regions in the first year of Chang'an in Wu Zetian. He has an extraordinary background. According to the "New Book of Tang", he was the ninth generation grandson of Emperor Xingsheng and was actually the same clan as the kings of the Li Tang Dynasty."

"When I was young, Li Bai and his father Li Ke moved to Qinglian Township, Changlong, Mianzhou, which is now Jiangyou County, Sichuan..."

Although Chen Jing mainly wanted to hear from his master what Li Bai had done in the 11th year of Tianbao, he did not ask directly anxiously, but listened carefully to Li Bai's life.

He is indeed quite interested.

This was said for several hours.

During this period, Chen Jing also brewed a pot of hot tea again and thought to let Professor Chen take a break, but the old man himself was excited and did not feel tired at all.

Before he knew it, Professor Chen had already mentioned that Li Bai was dead.

"In the first year of Baoying, that is, in 762 AD, Li Bai was in Dangtu, which is now Ma'anshan, Anhui Province. He died of illness in his residence at the age of 62 and was buried in Dangtu Longshan."

"Later, in the 12th year of Yuanhe in the Tang Dynasty, in 817 AD, Fan Chuanzheng, the Xuan Shechi Observer, moved his tomb to Dangtu Qingshan based on Li Bai's last wish of "ambition on Qingshan" during his lifetime."

Speaking of this, Professor Chen also showed a hint of sadness on his old face: "There are many different legends about his death. The one that is widely circulated now is that he is watching the moon in the boat, falling into the water and dying."

"But no matter how he died, it is a pity. If he could be born in the Tang Dynasty, he would definitely see him. Unfortunately, he could not come, so he was longing for it."

Professor Chen is a man who admires ancient times, and when it comes to Li Bai, it is normal for him to have emotional fluctuations.

Even Chen Jing felt a little sad, but he was young after all and could not reach the level of his master. While pouring him a cup of tea, he asked: "Master, you just said that Li Bai has been paying farewell to write letters since he was 20 years old, and has been unyielding after repeated setbacks. Finally, he was 42 years old, which was the first year of Tianbao, and was favored by the emperor. He received a summons and enrolled in Chang'an and worshipped in the Hanlin Academy."

"Then has he been in Chang'an for many years?"

Professor Chen replied: "No, in the spring of Tianbao, Li Bai was slandered by villains like Zhang Ye and left the capital. He also wrote a poem "Yuhu Yin", which compared himself to Dongfang Shuo, a writer of the Western Han Dynasty, expressing his reluctance to the glorious years of his life in "sacrificing Hanlin".

Chen Jing was stunned when he heard this. Li Baitianbao left Chang'an in three years?

If that's the case, wouldn't he have thought of the wrong idea last night?

The two clues of Tianbao Eleventh Year and Li Bai are not seen in a series of ways.

"What's wrong with Xiao Jing?" Professor Chen was stunned when he saw him and asked in confusion.
