Chapter 90: Dharma Names Daoqing 1/10)

Wudang Master?! Leader of Shangqing Cult?! Master of Lingbao?!

When they heard these words, Ling Qing and others were filled with thoughts, but the atmosphere in the palace was serious at this time, and no one dared to make any noise.

Just listen quietly to what the master continues to say.

"Now I have:

"The Great Cave of the Shangqing Dynasty has immeasurable spiritual treasures, Taizhen, virtues, propagation of Taoism, Dharma, majesty and rituals, helping all living beings in the three realms"

Twenty-four characters, assigned to name you and others, are the twelfth generation, which corresponds to the word 'Tao'."

Next, the master conferred Dharma names on everyone one by one.

Because in addition to Ling Qing, there are two other disciples, Li Qing and Lu Qing, both of whom bear the name Qing.

It’s not like all three of them can be called Dao Qing, so naturally their generation cannot be changed.

So the master treated all three people equally and slightly changed their names.

When he got Lingqing, the master gave him the Buddhist name "Daoqing".

Qing means Ming, and then Ming becomes clear.

When ordinary people are clean, they are also called Qing.

Not only is he allowed to be clean and uphold the Tao, and only the Tao will be clear to him, but it is also expected that he will be as good as water and have a pure heart to understand the Tao.

The name of the Dharma was determined, and the three characters "Ling Dao Qing" appeared on the place where the name of the disciple was placed in Ling Qing's hand.

A love character was given to Li Qing, and his legal name was "Li Daoqing".

Lovers are those who have desires.

The name Daoqing also means that he is dedicated to seeking immortality and desires the great road.

Lu Qing was given the character "Qing" and his legal name was "Lu Daoqing".

Clear means that you can see stars at night when it rains. Stars also mean fine, which is also clear.

The name Daoqing means that the rain will stop and there will be no clouds on the road, and the road will be clear and clear.

The names of more than five or sixty people were all given by the master one by one, and each had its own secrets and expectations.

Next, everyone will recite the apprenticeship post one by one on the spot and present it to the master.

After the master accepted it, he declared some precepts in teaching.

As everyone thought before, most of them are based on the principles of respecting teachers and Taoism, upholding integrity, doing good and forbidding evil, and following Tao to save people.

After announcing the precepts, Lingqing and others bowed their heads and agreed, then took the three pillars of incense offered by the boy, bowed to the statue of Sanqing, and inserted them one by one into the incense burner.

Next, there is no need for everyone to prepare any apprenticeship gifts. They can directly bow to the master and say: "Meet the master!"

"good!"

The master nodded in agreement, and the apprenticeship ceremony officially ended under the witness of the third master and all the senior brothers.

From then on, everyone was regarded as a member of the Shangqing Sect and could not be regarded as a master.

In this way, just like Taoist Master Lingguan, everyone has become the master's direct disciples.

The next step is to impart rituals.

Although Shangqing Palace does not seek to be named Cao Tiancao, or to ascend to heaven and receive priesthood.

But I won’t take this ritual ceremony lightly.

The three masters required for imparting rituals are still available: the transmitter, the supervisor, and the recommender.

The deliverer is the person who presides over the ceremony of conferring the urn, and he is the Taoist priest with a handsome face and a beautiful beard.

Senior Brother Wan introduced him as the leader of Taiqing, the leader of Daode, and the great master of Xuandu.

The Supervisor is the supervisor of the entire conferment ritual, and is served by the glorious Jade-faced Taoist priest.

He is the Master of Yuqing, the Master of Yuanshi, and the Great Master Guangcheng.

Greet everyone one by one.

After experiencing the title of master, everyone also had some guesses in their minds. Although they were not accurate, they would not be out of place.

The recommender is the recommender of the disciple, and this role is naturally played by the master himself.

"Brother Xuandu Dao, I have sixty-four disciples now. They have both good moral character and good conduct, and have passed the Taoist examination.

Now I specially ask Taoist brother to pass it on to you and bring it back to Xuanmen."

When the ceremony began, the master turned to Taoist Qingzhen and said.

"good!"

The slender Taoist Master Xuandu nodded in agreement, and then a clear light flew out from his sleeves and shot into the air.

Then, the octagonal lights hanging down from the heavenly seals and seals condensed in the air and became a written document.

This is a tribute to the Qing Ci of the Taoist ancestors of the Three Qing Dynasties.

Although Lingqing and others did not understand the text, the meaning of Fu Lingci flowed in their hearts, and they could not help but pronounce the sound of wind and thunder in their mouths.

After reciting, the green words in the air turned into curls of green smoke and flew to the statue of Sanqing Taoist Patriarch and disappeared.

Then someone else laid out the jade table with tea, fruit, wine, and Master Xuandu immediately called on everyone to bow down to the statue of the Three Pure Ones.

After praying three times, Lingqing felt an invisible and colorless Taoist charm rising from the water of tea and fruit wine.

And as everyone bowed, a vague thought attached to them and flew towards the Sanqing statue, and then disappeared.

After worshiping, Master Xuandu took out another jade plate and placed it on the altar table, and then asked everyone to offer incense one by one.

Every time a disciple offers incense, a little spiritual light falls on the jade plate from the statue of Lingbao Tianzun.

Then when everyone offered incense, little bits of spiritual light fell on the jade plate.

Everyone knelt down and worshiped under the jade plate and recited the "Sutra of Saving People" orally.

Then Master Xuandu turned to look at Master Guangcheng and said.

"What do you think, Brother Guangcheng?"

"Since my uncle has promised, there is no problem."

The jade-faced Master Guangcheng looked at the jade plate and said with a smile.

"In this case, all disciples will be punished!"

Master Xuandu patted the jade plate, and suddenly a stream of spiritual light flew out from it, flying into everyone's eyebrows like a swallow returning to its nest.

After Ling Qing saw the spiritual light flying towards him, he felt a little spiritual light coming from the entrance, all the way down, falling into the Tao Seed in his body and disappearing.

When he wanted to investigate carefully, he found nothing.

If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, and if there were various changes faintly emerging in his Taoism, he would have thought that what he just experienced was just an illusion.

At the end of the ceremony, Master Guangcheng presented various magical weapons to everyone.

There are tokens, flags, scriptures, Taoist uniforms, etc.

At this point, the ritual is completed, and the apprenticeship and enshrinement ceremony officially ends.

The senior brothers who were watching the ceremony first expressed their congratulations to Lingqing and others, and then said goodbye to the three immortal masters and left.

Ling Qing and other new disciples also said goodbye and dispersed.

Only the master and the two great masters stayed in the hall to have a feast after removing the decorations and restoring the hall to its original appearance.

Lingqing walked towards the dormitory with Tian Yong and others holding a set of magical instruments, scriptures, Taoist robes.

Today is a special day, so there is no need for everyone to work anymore.

Not only that, there is nothing you need to do in the remaining ten days.

Because after apprenticeship, the master has already told everyone that they can go down the mountain.

This also means that everyone can leave the instance at any time.

Lingqing returned to the dormitory and looked at each other's magical weapons and robes with everyone.

It was found that except for the tokens, which were all written with the inscription "Lingbao Cave Xuan Shang Qinglu Order", all the magic weapons were different.

Taking Lingqing as an example, the flag in his hand has a cyan background, with an azure dragon coiled on it, accompanied by mountain stone and spiritual plants on both sides.

The flags and tokens are both used to write talismans and promote Dharma. At the same time, they can not only protect the Dharma altar during religious rituals, but also gather the surrounding spiritual beings.

The scripture is "Tai Shang Dong Xuan Ling Bao Chi Shu Jade Jue Miao Jing", referred to as "Chi Shu Jade Jue".

This scripture was also copied by Lingqing from the Sutra Collection Hall. It talks about the five directions and five qi, which is the true text of the Red Book.

He hadn't seen anything mysterious from it before, and he didn't know what the difference would be with the one given by Master Guangcheng.

The Taoist robe is in the style of a cassock, green in color, double-breasted, calf-length, sleeveless, and long sleeves.

There is a towering tree embroidered with gold and silver threads, surrounded by the three flowers and five qi, the sun, moon, stars, mountains and rivers.

It can also be vaguely seen that they are all transformed into Yiqi, which is called: All-Seeing Yiqi Dharma Clothes.
