Chapter 460: Extra-law Void(2/3)
Turn off the lens, 'annihilate everywhere'. When you turn it on, it immediately turns off, 'born everywhere, perish everywhere'. The speed is too fast! There are twenty-four pictures per second on the cinema screen, that is, twenty-four
Birth and death; when the camera is turned on, it is 'born', and when it is closed, it is 'killed'. The twenty-four births and deaths have confused us, and we thought it was true and were completely deceived. What is the phenomenon in front of us now?
How fast? The Nio Sutra tells us that one flick of the finger lasts for sixty seconds. One sixtieth of this flick of the finger is called one moment. There are nine hundred births and deaths in one moment. In other words, its lens can open and close nine hundred times in one moment.
Times. When we play fast, we can play four times in one second. Four times sixty times nine hundred, how many times? Two hundred and sixteen thousand times in one second. If you look at the movie, one second is twenty
Four times, the Buddha told us that the current phenomenon is 216,000 births and deaths per second. How did you know it was false? You thought it was true. There are 216,000 births and deaths per second.
There are 216,000 sudden appearances in one second, the truth!
When I was lecturing on the sutra, I told everyone that Buddha Sakyamuni’s teaching at this speed is a matter of convenience. The Renwang Sutra talks about convenience, not the truth. The truth is faster than this speed. I talk about "The Sutra of Renwang".
I talked about it in "Huayan". I remember talking about this matter for six or seven hours in Singapore. I didn't use the snap of my fingers, a flash, or this**, I used the speed of light**
You must have a basis for what you say so that everyone can believe it. The speed of light is 300,000 kilometers per second. How long does it take for light to travel one kilometer? This is very clear. It takes one hundred thousandth of a second for light to travel one kilometer.
More than one thousandth of a second, more than 216,000ths of a second! How long does it take for light to travel one meter? How long does it take for light to travel one centimeter? How long does it take for light to travel one millimeter? One-tenth of one tenth of a millimeter for light
One, one-hundredth of a millimeter, one-thousandth of a millimeter: Therefore, the actual speed of birth and death is one billionth of a second. Therefore, the general Buddha talks about enchantment and loses his own nature. This is
The virtues and truths within one's own nature are lost and do not know, so they think it is true. Therefore, the Buddha honestly and truly tells us that all appearances are false and all dharmas are empty.
, tell you, cause and effect are not empty. The trouble lies in this point, why are cause and effect not empty? The transformation of cause and effect is not empty, the cause changes into the effect, the effect turns into the cause, it is always changing, it will not be eliminated. So you must understand everything the Buddha said
Dharma neither arises nor dies, but it changes. The transformation is not empty, the cycle is not empty, and the continuity is not empty. This brings trouble. If you are lost in this realm, you will suffer. If you are lost in this, the six paths will not be empty.
Where did it come from? It was created by your mind and your unwholesome thoughts. The six realms that were created did not originally exist. There is no one true dharma realm. Where did the ten dharma realms come from? It was also created by your delusions. All dharmas come from
I thought to myself: It’s not someone else’s fault for your suffering, it’s your own fault! It has nothing to do with others.
All people are manifested by you yourself, not from outside. Just like in a dream, where do you see many people in your dream? It is not that many people came to your dream.
Yes, it is manifested by your own mind. The same is true in the real world, you know? An awakened person is very different from a confused person. What is an awakened person? An awakened person does not create karma, and charming people do not create karma.
No matter how much karma you create, the Buddha divides it into three major categories: bad karma, good karma, and unrecorded karma.
"Wuji" means that there is no good or evil, but Wuji means ignorance, which cannot control life and death, cannot leave the three realms, cannot be enlightened, and cannot understand the mind and nature. Only Buddha and Bodhisattva can explain the worldly affairs clearly and clearly.
We are fortunate to encounter Buddhism and the Pure Sect in this life. It is a great blessing and an incomparable blessing. How do you describe this luck and blessing? After you encounter it, you can believe it, you can understand it, and you can follow the teachings.
In this life, you will never be able to escape reincarnation, and you will truly transcend mortal beings and saints. You cannot transcend mortal beings, enter sainthood, or escape reincarnation. What is the reason? You have not figured out the truth of this fact, and you do not really understand it! This is where the difficulty lies.
Therefore, when Shakyamuni Buddha appeared in this world and attained enlightenment, he was thirty years old. After attaining enlightenment, he began to preach sutras and Dharma. When he attained enlightenment, he fully understood the truth of the universe and let go of all fate!
If you understand, you must let go. If you can't let go, you don't understand. When you understand, you decide to let go. After understanding, you will see that everything in the universe is yourself. Therefore, that compassion is called "the great compassion of the same body, the great compassion of the unconditional" in Buddhism. The same body is everything in the universe.
It’s me! Just like in a dream, I suddenly wake up in the dream. I am dreaming now, and all the people in the dream are changed by me: in the dream, everything in the mountains, rivers and earth is me, and there is absolutely no second person besides me.
At this time, love can love all sentient beings and all things in the world. Why? It is oneself and not others. Great compassion for the same body! Unconditional Dahan, this love (unconditional is unconditional) does not come with any conditions. This is truly enlightened.
people.
In China, in the past, sects often talked about the great enlightenment. The great enlightenment must be like this. If the great compassion has not appeared, he has not been enlightened. When the true enlightenment enters the realm, the great compassion flows out naturally from the self-nature.
You didn't add any meaning or force, and showed it naturally. Where can there be a little bit of evil thoughts? Confucianism says that in the beginning, human nature is good. 7 It's true! Human nature is indeed good, and it is originally good.
Yes, why does it become unwholesome? It is unwholesome when it is confused. When one is awakened, his true nature is revealed. When he is confused, it is not his true nature, but his habit.
How do we talk about habits? Habits. There are good and evil in habits, not to mention the ones that have been contracted for countless kalpas. In fact, the bad habits are more contaminated, and the good habits are less contaminated. You have seen this in "One Hundred Dharmas"
, there are only eleven wholesome mental states, and there are twenty-six unwholesome mental states. Where do these wholesome mental states and unwholesome mental states come from? They have been acquired for countless kalpas. This is called habit, habit, not true nature. The Buddha sees everything
The nature of all living beings, so all living beings are Buddhas, all living beings are inherently good, and all living beings are formed by the mind. This passage in the "Surangama Sutra" says, "All dharmas are born, only manifested by the mind, all cause and effect, and the dust of the world,
Because of the mind, what is its body? The body is the true nature, the true nature. The true nature has no form, it is not matter, and we have to say that it is empty. But this emptiness is alive, not dead, and empty of "spirit"
.In this space there is real wisdom, immeasurable wisdom, virtuous energy, and the ability to manifest appearances. What is its virtuous energy? Virtue is "spiritual knowledge". The seeing, hearing, and awareness taught by the Buddha in the Mahayana Sutra: Seeing, hearing, and awareness is the heart.
It is not six roots. The six roots belong to phase division, but this phase division is transformed from the sexual body. The sexual body has seeing, hearing and awareness, and the appearance it changes will of course have seeing, hearing and awareness. Water, this is a manifestation, this is the heart
What changes is only manifested by the mind and changed by consciousness. No matter how it changes, its true nature will not change, neither birth nor death, neither one nor different, neither coming nor going, neither dirty nor pure, neither existence nor non-existence. This is the true mind.
, this is its nature. So its nature (we are talking about its nature today), its nature will never change, its nature is that it can see, hear, feel, and know. Now water has been discovered by you
Yes, all matter is like this.
Every cell in our body has knowledge, hearing, and awareness. People have not discovered this now! If you treat it with kindness, the knowledge, hearing, and awareness of your body will be very good. The pores will be happy and happy.
Be healthy and happy! If you have negative thoughts, worries, worries or anger, it will harm your body! Why? Every cell of your body is worried, and your body is unhealthy. This matter has not been discovered by science now, and it has not been discovered by science, but it was discovered by the Australian indigenous people.
A few years ago, a classmate gave me a book called "The Voice of the Wilderness". After I read it, the most impressive thing in it was that he healed diseases, and the indigenous people healed diseases. There was a native who accidentally fell while walking.
He went to the bottom of the cliff and fell twenty-six meters. Fortunately, there was a tree underneath that blocked him and he did not slip down the mountain. However, he was already twenty-six meters down the mountain. His bones were broken after the fall. His companions finally went down to rescue him. Rescue
After he came up, he saw that he was bleeding. One or two inches of broken bones were exposed, which was very serious. He asked the man to lie on the ground, and the native doctor massaged him. The hand he was massaging was on top of the wound.
, it’s not touching the wound, it’s still far away, so I massaged him like this. I massaged and sang to him. The American doctor next to me asked him what it meant. What did he mean? He said that after he fell, his leg hurt.
These cells are frightened, and it is frightened. We are now helping it recover, telling it not to be afraid, and comforting it. In this way of massage, singing to it is to comfort it and tell it to return to its original condition and not to be afraid.
After about an hour, the bone naturally retracted. After retracting, the doctor closed the wound. You can see that he didn't disinfect it, and he didn't have any medicine. The natives usually also brought first aid equipment. He had a bamboo tube.
, I don’t know what was put in this bamboo tube, some herbs, picked herbs. After he took out some of the herbs, it seemed like juice flowing out, and applied it on his wound. By the next day, he was completely back to normal.
Walking with everyone else, he was simply surprised when he saw it. This was a miracle!
Science and technology in the West today can't do it! With such a serious injury, he went to play with everyone the next day as if nothing had happened. After five or six days, all the scars and scars on his hands were gone. There were no scars on his hands at all.
When you touch the injured area, comfort means that every cell is alive. Comfort it, persuade it, don't be afraid, return to normal. Cooperate, and it will return to normal. These natives have never learned about modern science, technology, and medicine.
However, he knows nothing. What truth does he understand? Every cell is alive! When it is hurt, it is frightened. When frightened, it is abnormal and people will feel uncomfortable.
As long as it returns to normal, everything will be fine. He understands the truth. Every cell has knowledge, and every hair has knowledge. So I hope you will use scientific methods to observe and confirm, in daily life
Many of the problems have been solved, and it’s not that troublesome! Where do the viruses in life come from? A few months ago, people asked me, and I told them they came from greed, anger, and ignorance. What are greed, anger, and ignorance? Greed, anger, and ignorance.
, Buddhism calls it three poisons. This bacteria is not poisonous originally, but we infect it. When we pass it on with greed, anger and ignorance, it becomes poisonous, and if it is passed to us again, it will hurt us. We made a mistake again
, treat it with more poisonous thoughts, we must eliminate this bacteria, we must kill this bacteria. When it accepts this message, it will immediately mutate and become more poisonous, and the two sides are at war! You cannot use this method, use peace,
With love, its poison will be dissolved and it will be gone.
Therefore, there are some problems that are always solved in Buddhism. All dharma arises from the mind. It depends on how you think. You are on the good side, positive. All things and all dharmas, including these bacteria, are good and positive. You
Use negative ones, and all dharmas will become negative. Only what appears with the mind, only changes with consciousness, arises from the mind! So you really understand this truth, a person must always maintain good intentions throughout his life, this is what the World Honored One said in "
We are told in the "Ten Good Karma Sutra". He said that "Bodhisattvas have a method that can escape all suffering in the world." Disease is suffering!
"The Bodhisattva has a method that can escape all the suffering in the world." When I saw this sentence, my eyes lit up. This is great! It can escape all the suffering in the world. What method is that? The Buddha said it below, "Always recite the good Dharma."
', the heart is kind: 'think about the good Dharma', the thought is good; 'observe the good Dharma', the action is good. The heart is kind, the mind is kind (the thought is good means the intention is good), do good, there is nothing unwholesome, and you will have no more suffering.
The Buddha's method teaches people from beginners to equal-enlightenment Bodhisattvas. This is the general outline and general principle of all sentient beings in Buddhism. To teach beginners, the standard for beginners is the ten good deeds. We are taught to always recite the ten good deeds, think about the ten good deeds, and observe the ten good deeds. "
This sentence is very important! Why can't we get good results in our practice? Why can't we get the effect we want? The reason is very simple. When you practice, you have some bad qualities mixed in, so this
It is not easy for you to get the effect. The Buddha said very clearly, "There is no room for any bad deeds to be mixed in." You are not just a tiny bit, you have a lot of bad deeds mixed in, so you cannot achieve the expected results. This is the truth. We understand.
, where to start? Start with the roughest ones. The negative ones are unwholesome, killing, stealing, sexual immorality, lying, double-talk, idle talk, harsh words, greed, anger and ignorance. These are the negative ones: the negative ones will bring you immeasurable disasters.
, disaster!
On the positive side, don’t kill, don’t steal, don’t engage in sexual misconduct, don’t lie, don’t gossip, don’t gossip, don’t use harsh words, don’t be greedy, don’t be angry, and don’t have delusion. The positive side will bring you good luck and happiness.
So where do good, bad, and bad fortunes come from? It doesn’t come from the outside, it all comes from your own thoughts. You don’t understand the truth, and your actions are helping, and you expand what happens according to your own wishes.
Then this thing has to be tolerated. After cultivating the ten good deeds, you will slowly improve. In fact, promotion means cultivating Dzogchen. When you practice the ten good deeds to the ultimate perfection, you will become a Buddha. That is the Buddha. We have seen many Buddha statues and paintings.
Buddha statues. In the painted Buddha statues, we can see that there is a round light on the Buddha's head. There are three words written on the top of the round light. What are those three words? They are the ten good deeds. These three words are written in Chinese. There are not many written in Chinese.
There are many texts written in Sanskrit, and some are written in Tibetan. It doesn’t matter which language it is, its pronunciation is ‘妦阿波’. I first studied Buddhism with Master Zhangjia, and I asked Master Zhangjia to give me a few words.
I kept it as a souvenir, so he wrote these three characters, '妦阿口牛'. He wrote it in Tibetan and told me 'ton'
It is the body, and the three karma of the body are not to kill, not to steal, and not to commit sexual misconduct. 'Ah' is the mouth. The mouth has four karma: no lying, no double-talk, no idle talk, and no harsh words. 'Mou 7' is the mind,
The meaning is to be neither greedy nor angry nor delusional. Then I realized that the person who has perfected the ten good deeds is a Buddha. There are these three words on the top of the Buddha's light. This is what you see on almost all Buddha statues. From this we can see that the ten good deeds are the Buddha.
The path of karma, this is the fundamental dharma of the Buddha, the core of the dharma, from the initial intention to the Tathagata. No wonder the "Ten Good Karma Path Sutra" tells Bodhisattva that "you can escape all the suffering in the world" and the ten virtuous karma paths. Not to mention this
The results of the ten good karma are incredible. Not killing is fearless giving, and the result is health and longevity. Not stealing wealth. Not being promiscuous and dignified. The body is solemn. We can see the purple-ground true golden body mentioned in the scriptures. The body has countless appearances and appearances.
There are countless good things. Where do they come from? You have cultivated them. Each one has incomparable and extraordinary consequences. People in the world do not understand it and are unwilling to cultivate it.
He wants to be negative. It’s hard to say that negative consequences bring suffering. It’s too painful, and it’s three hells.
Now, the time has come."
