Chapter 6 Three Choices

If you want to buy a house in District 13, the best channel is Legion.

Dean had already done his homework on this before coming.

As the largest official force in District 13 and the only garrison regiment, the Southern Cross Legion is the organization with the best reputation in District 13.

They guard the boundary between Area 13 and the Demonic Blood Forest all year round, fighting against numerous ferocious monsters. They suffer battle losses almost every day, and the casualty rate remains high.

In order to show respect for these knights, District 13 gave each knight a fixed house.

These houses are not actually for them to live in, but are left to the families of these knights to provide them with a living security.

To put it bluntly, it is actually a guaranteed pension.

The allocated houses will not be sold to the outside world at first. They will not be sold until the nominal owner dies in battle, then they will be sold at a high price and then converted into gold and silver, which will be given to the families of those who have lost their loved ones.

It was these houses that Dean had his eye on.

Although the price is a little higher, the quality is very good, it can even withstand ordinary monster attacks, and its safety is far superior to other ordinary buildings.

And it also has some special meanings. All in all, it is definitely his best choice at the moment.

With this clear goal in mind, he collected the eggs early the next morning and headed to the legion's station to inquire about the house.

This time, there was no such good treatment as a carriage. Dean almost broke his two legs that had not been used for a long time before he managed to find the gate of the station.

Looking at the magnificent statue in front of him, he bowed slightly and gave a half salute, then walked around and entered the small wooden house next to the station.

This wooden house was specially built by the Legion for sale. When Dean walked in, his eyes were immediately attracted by the numerous sale notices on the wooden board. He walked closer in a few steps and began to quickly search for houses that met his requirements.

Come.

However, there were too many sale notices here. In order to pursue efficiency, Dean kept scanning the notices one after another, usually only looking at a few numbers before moving away hastily.

Too small...too biased...too expensive...

It took him more than half an hour, and after eliminating almost all the notifications, he finally found three houses that more closely met his requirements.

Dean took off the three sheets and walked up to the receptionist.

"Please, can you introduce me to the situation of these three companies?"

Knocking on the table, Dean woke up the sleepy half-orc girl, handed over the three notices, and signaled.

"Ah! I'm sorry!"

The half-rabbit girl with two snow-white long ears covered her face in shame and apologized to Dean: "I accidentally fell asleep. I'm really sorry for keeping you waiting!"

"fine."

Dean smiled politely and said, "Please help me take a look first."

"Okay, okay!"

In order to make up for her mistake, the half-rabbit girl immediately opened the information book and started searching.

"The three houses you are interested in are all in very good condition."

"The owner of the first family is a Trojan Knight. He has just been approved to be transferred from the Southern Cross Army to the North Wind Army. He is currently preparing to find someone to sell his property in District 13."

"The owner of the second house is Knight Carlo. He was unfortunately killed in an encounter with a monster three days ago. After receiving the news, his fiancée was very sad and decided to sell the house and return to their hometown.
