Chapter 125

The conference room was as quiet as Mo Kai's arrival, and no one seemed to be able to breathe.

Mo Kai felt his foot being kicked hard.

He glanced at Qiao An lightly.

Qiao An had a flattering look on her face, "Mr. Mo, can I report to you alone next? I'll be clearer about the latter part."

If you let this big boss stay here, who would dare to speak freely?

Seeing that he was silent, Qiao An stretched his feet under the table and kicked him again.

"Mr. Mo, why don't you move to my office?" Qiao An looked at him meaningfully, and by the time she finished speaking, she had already stood up.

As the two looked at each other, Qiao An said "sneeze" again.

Mo Kai frowned and stood up helplessly and walked out.

Qiao An held the cup and trotted to keep up. As he walked, he didn't forget to remind Xiaoya and Kang Jun, "See you at the warehouse later."

The whole Hua Chen knew that Mr. Mo was here, and entered Director Qiao's office with frowning eyebrows.

"Mr. Mo, please sit down!" Qiao An stood in front of the sofa, hunched over, and said in a disgusting tone.

Mo Kai still had a straight face, "Didn't I tell you to rest at home today? Why are you so disobedient?"

"I just have a cold, it's nothing serious. I'm not that delicate."

Qiao An smiled and snuggled up to him, pulling on the front of his clothes coquettishly, looking at him with fluorescent eyes, "Don't be angry, okay? I'm fine."

Mo Kai was angry with her for being disobedient, but he was even more angry with himself for having indulged her too much last night and for not being able to restrain her as if he was in a daze.

Qiao An came closer, stretched out her hand to stroke his frowned eyebrows, winked playfully, and deliberately lowered her voice, "I just want to experience the feeling of a dream coming true."

It was amazing to say that the feelings between dreams and reality could be so similar, making her feel as if everything in the dream had really happened.

Mo Kai sighed helplessly, then noticed Qiao An's red face, and couldn't help but reach out and touch her forehead.

The next second, Qiao An's hand was held by Mo Kai.

"what?"

"You have a fever, go to the hospital."

"It's too much to make a fuss about, it's just a small cold."

Mo Kai no longer let her go this time, and said firmly, "Are you going to leave? If not, I will carry you out."

Qiao An didn't dare to disobey, but she really didn't want to go to the hospital. "I'll just take the medicine and then go home and rest. I have experience. This kind of cold will be cured just by sleeping."

Afraid that Mo Kai would think she was bluffing him, he couldn't help but said sincerely, "I promise not to lie to you."

Mo Kai didn't say anything, and sent her back to Hibiscus Garden, carried her to the bed, watched her take the medicine, helped her tuck the quilt tightly, then turned and sat on the sofa beside the bed.

"You're not going back to the company?" Qiao An looked at him as if he had no intention of leaving.

Mo Kai crossed his legs, picked up a book next to the sofa, and said in a calm tone, "I'm here to accompany you."

Apparently he had figured out Qiao An's temperament and was worried about what tricks she might play again. He would be worried if he didn't see her sleeping.

"Go back, I'm fine." Qiao An didn't want him to affect his work because of himself.

Mo Kai turned the pages of the book gracefully with his long fingers, as if he hadn't heard anything yet and remained motionless.

Qiao An looked at this man who was sometimes as stubborn as a stone, and couldn't help but twitch the corner of his mouth.

She was lying on her side, her eyes unconsciously attracted to him.

The crisp suit, slender figure, and the way he sits quietly flipping the pages of a book all exude nobility and elegance.

Qiao An's curled eyelashes trembled slightly, and she suddenly said shockingly, "If you don't leave, can you stay with me in bed?"

Her voice was a little rusty due to the cold, and her soft tone didn't have much strength, but it was so soft that it seemed to soften people's hearts.
