Chapter 40: Meetings are for planning

"This is a good wine, you can't waste it." Randolph said with a smile.

"I'll bring you some food. Today I came some dried fish, and it tasted pretty good." Seeing that the persuasion was ineffective, Hera stopped insisting.

"No need." Randolph shook his head.

"That's a pity."

"Next time, I have to go to Black Thorn Manor today, otherwise the nobles will break my study." Randolph said his purpose half-jokingly.

"Did you go with your job identity?" Hera's face was calm, but she felt a little worried.

"I'm on holiday today and don't work, how about Rock Black Thorn? I don't know him very well." Randolph answered a little, then continued to ask.

"Mr. Rock is a good person. He likes to make friends and be honest. I think you and him should get along well." Hera commented pertinently.

"It seems that I have nothing to worry about, thank you for your hospitality."

Randolph left a few coins on the table, put on his hat, and walked straight out of the door.

"Good luck." Hera watched the other party walk out of the tavern.

It is not a good time to have a small party in the morning, but today is an exception. The breakfast time has just passed, but the servants of Gablier's family are busy.

In a delicate living room, Gablier is receiving the first guest to arrive, the middle-aged man in a felt hat in the Black Thorn Manor.

"Mark, my old friend, I didn't expect you to be the first to come to my house."

"My man, it's not a good thing to receive your invitation early in the morning. I just finished my breakfast and rushed to you." Mark complained.

"Haha, thank you for your hard work, you really touched me. The lunch and lunch have been arranged." Gabriel said enthusiastically.

"I can see that lunch is settled, but you let the servants work early in the morning. To be honest, you should start preparing lunch now. Would it be too early?" Mark expressed his confusion about Gablier's behavior.

"Hehe, my old friend, I won't hide it from you. A few days ago, I asked the Lake family in Murphys City to buy a piece of electric python meat. I just arrived today and you have oral treatment."

"No wonder, it seems that today is my lucky day, old friend, sometimes I really envy you for being able to marry such a good wife." Mark's eyes narrowed into a line, and the smile on his face was extremely bright.

"They should have arrived almost too." Gabriel was a little uncertain.

"Who else did you invite?" Mark lit his golden pipe and asked curiously.

"Denflan and Puxidu." Gabriel said the invitation's name.

"Hiss! Huh."

Mark took a puff of cigarette, the smile on his face gradually disappeared, and then he slowly said, "My man, you came to us today for the Black Thorn Manor."

"Yes, Seth is finished, the bones are gone, and that bastard Rock succeeds. We can't count on old friends. Randolph has never had a definite attitude. The old fox Enoke has been like a married mother recently, and he has never seen him walk out of the door." Gablier said solemnly, with dissatisfaction and anxiety on his face.

"Can the matter at Black Thorn Manor be confirmed? I remember what Randolph said, he will give us an explanation." Mark's expression was a little solemn.

"I can be sure that there are my eyes in the Black Thorn Manor, but now it's probably gone. This little bastard is quick enough. I have to say that I admire him very much."

"As for Randolph, wake up old friend, we have been dealing with him for so long, I can guarantee that he will not easily fulfill his promise before he thinks of a solution that both parties are satisfied with." Gabriel said affirmatively.

Da, da, da.

Mark knocked on the table with a golden pipe, and he didn't speak, and Gablier's words made him unable to refute.

"Hi, you guys have a great chat."

At the door, a white-faced man with a moxifist hairstyle walked in slowly with a sarcastic smile, and sat on Mark's left.

"Denverland, you're late." Mark reminded softly, his face looking extremely calm.

"Ah, I'm not as leisurely as you guys. This invitation from Gablier was too bad." Denverland smiled and moved the chair back a little, raised his legs.

"Hmph, it's best to have something important today, otherwise." At this time, an old man with a hooked nose walked in and sat directly on the right side of Gablier.

"Haha, now we're all in one place. How are you going to do it lately? Puxidu." Gablier greeted politely.

"Tell me, what's the matter?"

Puxidu didn't give the other party a good look, and he was a little impatient. Mark and Denverlan looked at each other and smiled helplessly.

Gablier was very rational. Today he controlled his temper well. After all, at some special times, the old people with strange tempers had privileges.

I explained today's purpose in detail. Even if Gablier's work was half completed, the beautiful maid brought drinks and refreshments.

"Okay, you guys go back and bring the door with you, so don't let anyone disturb us."

"As for orders, sir."

After the maid left, Puxidu looked serious and he made a dull voice: "That guy now controls the Black Thorn Manor, and has such a powerful follower. What do you think should you do?"

Hearing this, Gabriel couldn't help but look at Mark, and the two seemed to be thinking about how to answer this question.

"It seems that we have no fierce conflict with him." Denverland said with a smile.

"My friend, you're too light. You should know that the farm, mill, goods store and caravan of Black Thorn Manor have been scraped by us. Don't forget that we all know about Ul. Black Thorn." Mark reminded with a frown.

"We bought the farms, mills, goods stores and caravans with gold coins. These ruling halls are registered, which is completely legal. Although we know about Ur Black Thorns, we did not participate in it, so the headache is Enoke. It seems that there is nothing important today. Damn it, I will make me go for nothing." Pu Xidu looked angry and showed dissatisfaction in his eyes.

"Puxidu, you think too simple. Although the Black Thorns industry was legally bought by us, it is limited to what we think is legal. Do you think that kid would think so? Anyone who is present would probably have another set of rhetoric." Gablier explained with a smile.

"You mean, we have to return these things to that kid?" The smile on Denverlan's face disappeared.

"Hmph!" Puxidu took a sip of coffee and said slowly: "I am not so generous, where are you?"

"Haha, yes, the fat that has been obtained will be handed over by someone unless it is a fool." Gablier expressed his agreement with the other party's point of view.

"Tell me, what do you think?" Denverland asked slightly curiously.

"These industries belong to us, completely legal, and were stamped by Randolph himself. As long as that kid is not a lunatic, he will not break up with us head-on. As for Ur's matter, Puxidu is right, and the one who should be troubled is Enoch."

"But what I want to say is that although that boy is not a lunatic, he is a lion. You all know the laws of nature. Invaders are not allowed in the territory of predators. Of course, we are also predators, so you understand." After saying that, Gablier slowly picked up a piece of the flesh shop and stopped talking.

Denverland and Puxido frowned slightly, but did not choose to speak. They already understood the meaning of each other's words.

"Gabulier talks about your plan, I'm already thinking about how to enjoy your tempting lunch." Mark's face was a faint smile.

"For us, that boy is the invader, I mean, we should stand on the front of unity and reach a consensus in our minds."

"Speak on." Puxidu urged.

"During the autumn harvest, the lord will send supervisors to Miral town. These guys are hungry wolves who eat people and don't spit bones."

"They come every year, it's not surprising, what exactly do you want to express?" Denverlan couldn't help but interrupt.

"Yes, they do this every year, but this year, the Rek family is responsible for this matter." Gabriel gave a big news.

Hearing this, the other people's faces changed. They all knew the relationship between the other wife and the Rick family, and immediately guessed something, but no one spoke rashly.

"As long as I pay a little price, I can guarantee that this matter will be successful. It seems that there is no chance of winning against a hungry wolf when facing a lion, but this is a pack of wolves, and even tigers will have a headache."

Gablier's words made everyone else fall into a brief meditation, and they must seriously think about the pros and cons.

"There is more than a month left before the autumn harvest, and there is still plenty of time." Puxidu no longer has his old face tense.

"Haha, I hope this year will be smooth sailing." Denverland burst into laughter.

Gablier and Mark looked at each other, and they smiled and greeted each other.
